House Republicans, DOJ reach agreement on Russia documents
by Jeff Mordock
{ } ~ Republican Congressmen Devin Nunes, California, and Trey Gowdy, South Carolina, have been invited to the Justice Department Thursday... for a classified briefing on documents related to the Russia investigation, according to media reports. Mr. Nunes, who chairs the House Intelligence Committee, this threatened to impeach Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein and hold Attorney General Jeff Sessions in contempt if the documents were not turned over. A deal is said to have been reached between the Justice and Nunes, according to CNN, which first reported the story. Mr. Nunes and Mr. Rosenstein reportedly discussed the matter over the phone Tuesday night, CNN said. A partisan fight brewed in Congress this week over the documents. Democrats have claimed the Republicans are using the Justice Department’s delay as a reason to justify firing Mr. Sessions and undermine special counsel Robert Mueller’s Russia probe. Republicans have argued the documents are crucial to learning about Mr. Mueller’s investigation and what evidence, if any, he has accumulated...
Email Records May Contradict
Democrat Claims Against Scott Pruitt
by Michael Bastasch
{ } ~ Democrats mischaracterized emails between top Environmental Protection Agency officials to claim Administrator Scott Pruitt... potentially misused taxpayer dollars by trying to create a new agency office in his hometown. Pruitt directed his staff “to establish a new EPA office in his hometown of Tulsa, Oklahoma,” sparking a wave of media coverage that added to the growing list of complaints against Pruitt, House Democrats claimed. “This most recent case of questionable financial management adds to the growing concerns about Administrator Pruitt’s misuse of taxpayers’ funds and potential ethical lapses in judgement,” alleged House Democrats, led by Texas Rep. Eddie Bernice Johnson. However, TheDCNF reviewed emails that suggest Democrats mischaracterized Pruitt’s request. Democrats never disclosed how they came across the emails; nor did they release any to the public...
Haspel Thwarts Kamala Harris’ Attempts
To Denigrate CIA Colleagues
by Randy DeSoto
{ } ~ President Donald Trump’s pick to head the Central Intelligence Agency refused to take the bait when Democratic Sen. Kamala Harris of California... repeatedly pushed her to cast a negative moral judgment on the CIA for employing enhanced interrogation techniques on suspected terrorists in the aftermath of the Sept. 11 attacks. During Gina Haspel’s confirmation hearing before the Senate Intelligence Committee on Wednesday, Harris asked the nominee if she believed the “interrogation techniques were immoral?” “Senator, I believe that CIA officers to whom you refer…” Haspel, 61, began responding, before Harris cut her off. “Senator, I believe the CIA did extraordinary work to protect this country given the legal tools that we authorized to use,” Haspel replied...
Pence On Mueller Investigation: ‘It’s Time To Wrap It Up’
{ } ~ Vice President Mike Pence said Thursday morning he believes it’s time for Special Counsel Robert Mueller to end his long ongoing investigation into Russian interference... in the 2016 presidential election. Pence told NBC’s Andrea Mitchell that he thinks Mueller has spent enough time on the investigation and reiterated that President Donald Trump’s administration has fully complied with Mueller’s requests, providing him with over 1 million documents. “What I think is that it’s been about a year since this investigation began,” Pence said in an interview on NBC’s “Today” show. “Our administration has provided over a million documents, we’ve fully cooperated in it and in the interest of the country, I think it’s time to wrap it up.”...
Iran May Bank on EU Support After U.S. Leaves Nuclear Deal
by Noah Beck
{ } ~ As the threat of open warfare between Iran and Israel escalates... experts and world leaders are divided on what President Trump's decision to exit from the nuclear deal means in practical terms. Trump has long criticized the 2015 deal limiting Iranian nuclear activity in exchange for sanctions relief, calling it "insane," "ridiculous" and something that "should have never, ever been made." The agreement, formally known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), was negotiated by the lkiar-nObama administration, and accepted by Iran and the five permanent UN Security Council members – China, Russia, France, United Kingdom, United States – plus Germany and the European Union...
Here's a List of Major U.S. Allies Celebrating
an End to the Iran Nuclear Deal

by Katie Pavlich
{ } ~ In the aftermath of President Trump announcing earlier this week the United States is leaving the Iran nuclear deal, liar-nObama administration officials, Democrats and their friends in the media have dishonestly proclaimed "all" of America's allies are upset with the decision.

While the French, Brits and Germans have expressed disapproval of Trump's decision, U.S. allies in the Middle East are practically jumping for joy. Some are even praising God.

"As long as Iran has breached the status quo in the region and has evacuated its troops and missiles, any state in the region, including Israel, is entitled to defend itself by destroying the sources of danger."

"The Iranian nuclear agreement was born thin and lived paralyzed. It was an imperfect agreement that unleashed the hands of Iran to tamper with the security and stability of the region. And today he fell and thank God."

"Iran says the United States is denouncing the vows! We have many treaties with the United States dating back long decades and none. We saw the reversal of vows and lies and conspiracy from the untrusting Iranian regime."

"A great leadership stance by President Donald Trump in favor of the security and stability of the world by withdrawing from Iran's nuclear agreement and tightening the sanctions on the Iranian regime, and Bahrain supports and welcomes."

"The deal didn't push war further away. It actually brought it closer. The deal didn't reduce Iran's aggression, it dramatically increased it. We see this across the entire Middle East," Israeli Prime Minster Benjamin Netanyahu said Tuesday afternoon. "This is why Israel thinks that President Trump did a historic move and this is why Israel thanks President Trump for his courageous leadership, his commitment to confront the terrorist regime in Tehran and his commitment to ensure Iran never gs nuclear weapons. Not today, not in a decade, not ever."
Saudi Arabia:

To say America has abandoned, ignored or upset all of its allies with the Iran decision is completely devoid of fact.

OMG!! WTF!!: Rep. Ilhan Omar Tells CNN That She Doesn’t Know Why Her Anti-Israel Tweets Would Offend Jewish People

Rep. Ilhan Omar defended her anti-Israel sentiments on CNN on Thursday, saying that she doesn’t know why those comments would offend the Jewish-American community.

Omar famously tweeted in 2012 that “Israel has hypnotized the world, may Allah awaken the people and help them see the evil doings of Israel.”

When asked about the tweet by CNN, Omar responded, “oh, that’s a really regrettable way of expressing that. I don’t know how my comments would be offensive to Jewish-Americans.”

Israel has hypnotized the world, may Allah awaken the people and help them see the evil doings of Israel.

Omar added that her comments were “precisely addressing what was happening during the Gaza war,” and that she was “clearly” speaking about the way the “Israeli regime” was “conducting themselves in that war.”

“I don’t know how my comments would be offensive to Jewish-Americans.”

Without any follow-up or push back, CNN moved on to asking the accused antisemitic congresswoman about her opinions on Rep. Steve King and his “racist remarks.”

While her perceived antisemitism is given a pass — Rep. King is boldly branded without any hesitation.

King has repeatedly stated that he was taken out of context and disavowed white supremacy and all forms of hatred – while Omar stands behind her bigotry. Yet, only King is facing consequences and blow back.
