Hangover for Hilly –   What does Hilly Clinton think about the pipeline project?  She was seemingly for it before she went silent. In 2012, as her boss buoyed the green base with a further delay, one pipeline opponent observed: “She doubtless figures four years is a long time, and – even though it’s the one environmental issue in decades that’s brought big crowds of environmentalists into the streets – that voters will forget her stance on the pipeline.” But those years have come and gone and the issue is still alive, thanks to the president’s obduracy. Given the support the Clinton Foundation has reportedly received from Keystone proponents, greenies will demand answers from the presumptive Democratic nominee.
That was then - “We’ve not yet signed off on it. But we are inclined to do so…” –Hilly Clinton in a 2010 speech.
This is now - “We have differences and you won't get me to talk about Keystone because I have steadily made clear that I'm not going to express an opinion. It is in our process and that’s where it belongs.” –Hilly Clinton to an audience in Canada on January, 21 2015.

HILLY RE-EMERGES FOR EVENT WITH CORPORATE BACKERS
After not appearing before an American audience in more than two months and with questions swirling about foreign donations to her family foundation, presumptive Democratic nominee Hilly Clinton is back on the speaking circuit today. She’s on stage for a Silicon Valley gig touting the gender equality policies of some of her most influential corporate patrons. McClatchy: “Clinton will serve as the keynote speaker [today] at a conference sponsored by a series of major companies that have donated to her political campaigns or her family’s foundation, helped pay her hefty speaking fees at other events and lobbied her when she served as secretary of state. Some of their employees have been involved in her campaigns or initiatives at the Bill, Hilly and Chelsea Clinton Foundation. Many have multiple ties to the Clintons.

“Cisco, a California networking-equipment company, donated thousands of dollars to Clinton through its political action committee, and its general counsel served as a bundler and a policy adviser for her 2008 presidential campaign. Ericsson, a Swedish communications company, donated between $50,000 and $100,000 to the foundation, and its president participated in a group discussion at the related Clinton Global Initiative annual meeting last year. Morgan Stanley, a New York investment firm that’s Clinton’s sixth largest donor, spent at least $14 million lobbying the federal government, including the State Department, during her term on issues related to China, India and currency-exchange oversight, according to public records.”
[WaPo: “For Clinton, the Bay Area represents perhaps her biggest opportunity to expand her fundraising base from 2008, when she raised $6.2 million from the affluent counties of San Francisco, Santa Clara and San Mateo, according to campaign finance data compiled by the Center for Responsive Politics. nObama brought in $9.8 million from donors in those counties during the same time period.”]  -Fox News

Campaign motif will be gender war –   National Journal: “Already, recent words and actions hint at the ways [Hilly Clinton will] bring gender into the 2016 campaign—by talking about issues like pay equity, affordable child care, and paid family leave, referencing her past work for women and children, and gushing about her new granddaughter. That soft approach will be coupled with a sharp-edged assault by supporting organizations outside of her camp. Some of them, including the abortion-rights group EMILY's List and the Democratic National Committee, have begun playing offense against the Republican field, painting many of the 2016 GOP hopefuls as anti-woman.”  -Fox News

‘GETTING TO YES’ ON IRAN NUKES…
“As more and more details are starting to leak out about a possible U.S.-Iran nuclear deal, an increasing number of U.S. allies appear to be getting very nervous. Israelis, for obvious reasons, are the most concerned. So much so that the conventional wisdom that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu would see serious political backlash for speaking to the U.S. Congress about Iran without a White House blessing is being turned around completely. Some Israeli pundits and commentators even called for Netanyahu’s opponent in the upcoming election, Isaac Herzog, to stand alongside the prime minster when he addresses Congress. Herzog declined, but the conversation itself is a sign of the shifting Israeli politics on the issue.

The structure of the deal is being dramatically reframed by the nObama administration. As Bloomberg reports, gone is the idea of a grand bargain that would empower moderates and lead to lasting change in Iran’s leadership. This now appears to be just a temporary arms deal that could leave Iran at the brink of having nuclear weapon. That prospect looks different, though, after reading this piece from the Weekly Standard that lays out details of the funding of Al Qaeda operations. It is no wonder that Israel and Gulf State nations are worried. In a remarkable switch, these allies seem to be hoping for the ayatollah in Tehran to have a change of heart and turn the deal down. Because at this point, it seems the nObama administration is trying extremely hard to – in the president’s words – ‘get to yes.’”  - Bret Baier-Fox News

WITH YOUR SECOND CUP OF COFFEE...Chilies
The Atlantic examines the phenomenon of how the body registers effects of capsaicin, the active chemical in chilies that causes the burning sensation through a pain receptor, TRPV1. Receptors are found throughout the body, researcher John Hayes, said, and “This is why when you chop chilies, and then rub your eyes, or use the bathroom, without washing your hands, you are in for a world of hurt.” Though it feels like a burn, there isn’t an actual burn occurring, but rather a chemical evolution, “The chili pepper evolved a chemical that fits into that molecular receptor [TRPV1] and lowers the activation energy from 43 [degrees] Celsius to about 34 [degrees] Celsius,” he said. Hayes and fellow researcher Nadia Byrnes, both agree that it is possible to increase tolerance through repeated exposures, particularly at young ages. “Basically, if you don’t like something, the more you eat of it, the more you’ll like it,” Byrnes said.  -Fox News

Hanoi John Kerry – Sure There’s A Risk In Giving In To Iran
(Rick Wells) - Secretary of State Hanoi John Kerry, in testimony Tuesday before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, described the nuclear negotiations with Iran as sort of a crap shoot, and a chance that they, as is the case with every gambler, are willing to take...You never know what might happen. We could get lucky; Iran might decide to play nice. They might all convert to Christianity too, but Hanoi Kerry shouldn’t base his negotiations upon either taking place any time soon. Hanoi Kerry said, “The fact is that on Iran, sure, it’s controversial and it may have some risks.” Controversial? May have some risks? Those comments are surely in the running for the political understatement of the year. Insane, foolhardy and an invitation to a catastrophic apocalyptic confrontation might have been better choices forwords to describe the suicide pact he is negotiating on our behalf with the terrorist nation.       http://www.rickwells.us/john-kerry-sure-theres-a-risk-in-giving-in-to-iran-but-theyre-gamblers-and-its-only-nuclear-war/

Jordan furious over Pentagon leak of secret anti-ISIS training camp
(Robert Spencer) - “Either the official made a mistake or is deliberately leaking information to put the administration’s plans for Syria in a better light in an attempt to defuse criticism that the administration has bungled efforts to aid Syrian rebels”...in other words, playing politics yet again instead of dealing with the jihad threat in any adequate manner. The Pentagon let slip that one of its training camps to help fight Islamic State terrorists is in Jordan — information the pro-U.S. kingdom had specifically requested be kept private, and the latest gaffe in a series of sensitive leaks coming out of the Department of Defense. In order to hide its flub, which was first announced to reporters during a briefing last week, the Pentagon has scrubbed its public transcripts of any mention of the training camp.       http://www.jihadwatch.org/2015/02/jordan-furious-over-pentagon-leak-on-secret-anti-islamic-state-training-camp?utm_source=Jihad+Watch+Daily+Digest&utm_campaign=fec0c10cc5-Daily_Digest&utm_medium=email&utm_term=0_ffcbf57bbb-fec0c10cc5-123451509

Pentagon Benghazi Documents Expose Administration Lies
(news.investors.com) - Heavily redacted documents show a military response had been drafted in answer to the Benghazi terrorist attack by a group supporting "an Islamic state" in Libya. It also showed the attack wasn't inflamed by a video...It's taken Judicial Watch two years to obtain from the most transparent administration in history the 486 pages of documents pertaining to the military response to the Sept. 11, 2012, terrorist attack on our Benghazi diplomatic mission. They confirm what we have said repeatedly, that the Benghazi tale spun by President nObama and former Secretary of State Hilly Clinton was indeed a lie agreed upon.       http://news.investors.com/ibd-editorials/022315-740536-judicial-watch-documents-show-pentagon-response-to-benghazi.htm?p=full

A simple cure for nObamacare: Freedom
(Phil Gramm) - On March 4 the Supreme Court will hear oral arguments in King v. Burwell, with a decision expected in late June. If the court strikes down the payment of government subsidies to those who bought health insurance on the federal exchange...Republicans will at last have a real opportunity to amend nObamaCare. Doing so, however, will be politically perilous. The language of the Affordable Care Act states that subsidies should only be paid through state exchanges. The bill’s authors perhaps believed that pressure from citizens and the health-care providers who would benefit would entice states to set up exchanges. But, faced with mounting technical problems in setting up the exchanges, the nObama administration decided—legally or illegally—to allow subsidies to be paid through a federally run exchange. Therefore, political pressure that might have convinced states to set up exchanges never developed.

 Averting the disability-insurance meltdown
(Andrew G. Biggs) - Sometime next year Social Security’s $150 billion disability-insurance program will become insolvent...The program, which offers income supplements to those who cannot work full time due to physical or mental disabilities, has buckled as the number of beneficiaries has soared to more than 11 million in 2014, from 3.8 million in 1984. The bipartisan Social Security Advisory Board has urged reforms. Yet the nObama administration’s 2016 budget proposes the opposite of reform: an unconditional transfer of revenues from Social Security’s retirement program. The president’s proposal will likely be blocked thanks to a House budget rule that forbids unconditional revenue transfers. The question now is: Will serious reform be a reality under President nObama?       http://www.aei.org/publication/averting-disability-insurance-meltdown/

More energy, more power: A new opportunity to pivot in Asia
(Dan Blumenthal, Derek M. ScissorsIf) -  American political leaders turn the nation’s increased energy production into power, the United States will have good strategic options to deal with any new Chinese challenge...This strength is the safest, best way to persuade China to choose comity over rivalry. Despite an announced “Asia pivot,” there has been little new substance to the US approach to the region. Yet Washington needs a more robust Asia policy: the region is becoming the center of geopolitical gravity and China seems determined to dominate it. A focus on energy policy would bolster US influence in the region.       http://www.aei.org/publication/energy-power-new-opportunity-pivot-asia/

Cruz, Sessions, Lee & Tea Party Patriots Wade In Against McCon-nell
(George Rasley) - Yesterday we told you about Senate Majority Leader Mitch McCon-nell’s plan to pass a “clean” DHS funding bill and then attempt to bring up a separate bill that purports to defund President nObama’s unconstitutional executive amnesty...McCon-nell said he wanted to take away Democrats’ excuse for not voting against nObama’s 2014 actions, which several centrist Democrats had previously criticized. We called this the old (and failed) Capitol Republican tactic of trying to use legislative slight-of-hand to simply get him by the immediate pressure point – the February 27 deadline for funding the Department of Homeland Security.       http://www.conservativehq.com/article/19761-cruz-sessions-lee-tea-party-patriots-wade-against-mcconnell-dhs-funding-plan

New York City Lays Out Limits on Restraints And Suspensions
(Annie Waldman) - New York City educators will face new restrictions on handcuffing students or suspending them from school, as part of regulations proposed earlier this month by the city’s education department...If the proposals are adopted as expected, schools will also have to begin tracking the number of times students are tied down or otherwise restrained. Last year, an investigation by ProPublica and NPR showed that restraints are frequently used in schools across the country. Hundreds of students are injured each year. Our reporting also found that many of the nation’s largest school districts, including New York City, do not report the number of restraints to authorities despite being required to do so by the federal government. Los Angeles and Chicago, the country’s second and third largest school districts, also reported zero restraints.       http://www.propublica.org/article/new-york-city-lays-out-limits-on-restraints-and-suspensions?utm_source=et&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=dailynewsletter&utm_content=&utm_name=

 Republicans Surrender the Internet!
(Sara Noble) - The NY Times reported Tuesday afternoon that Senator John Thune, Republican of South Dakota and chairman of the Senate Commerce Committee, conceded all efforts to overturn the coming ruling for Net Neutrality...because Democrats are lining up with President nObama in favor of the F.C.C. It’s hard to believe the Republicans won the last election and have control of Congress. Lost in all this is the fact that the president is using an agency to usurp congressional authority.   http://www.independentsentinel.com/republicans-surrender-the-internet/

nObama defies judge, forges ahead with amnesty
(Bob Unruh) - President nObama’s amnesty juggernaut has taken another step forward despite a federal judge’s order to halt it in its tracks...The president’s plan to delay the deportation of as many as 5 million illegal aliens through memos issued by appointees moved ahead Tuesday when the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services announced the extension of a program allowing spouses of certain visa holders to obtain work permits. According to the Washington Times, the move will, in 90 days, allow some 180,000 immigrants to be eligible for the benefit “in the first year.”       http://www.wnd.com/2015/02/obamas-amnesty-moves-ahead-despite-judges-order/
The End of Freedom in America

AA%2B-%2BNet%2BNeutrality%2Bis%2Ba%2BLie.jpg
(factsnotfantasy.blogspot.com) - The America that has existed from the days of the Declaration of Independence in 1776, when its sovereignty was acknowledged by a treaty with England 1783, and its founding in 1788 with the ratification of the Constitution is no more. The America for which thousands fought and gave their lives is no more.
That America ends on February 26 when the Federal Communications Commission, under intense pressure from the nObama White House and with the votes of its Democratic Party commissioners asserts government control over the Internet with a 332-page set of regulations, dubbed “Net Neutrality.”
Writing in the Feb 22nd Wall Street Journal, columnist L. Gordon Crovitz summed up what will occur saying “nObamanet promises to fix an Internet that isn’t broken…The permissionless Internet which allows anyone to introduce a website, app, or device without government review, ends this week.”
“The big politicization came when President nObama in November demanded that the supposedly independent FCC apply agency’s most extreme regulation to the Internet.” Of course nObama wants the Internet regulated and of course the Democratic Party will support this move to control who gets to put up a website or blog and, more importantly, who gets to say anything critical of the President.

Dem%2BParty%2Bis%2BCommunist.jpg
The Democratic Party has been in everything but name the Communist Party in the United States for several decades. nObama was raised and mentored to be a Marxist. What we are witnessing is nothing less than tyranny replacing democracy.
Crovitz warned that “This week Mr. nObama’s bureaucrats will give him the regulated Internet he demands. Unless Congress or the courts block nObamanet, it will be the end of the Internet as we know it.”
Earlier this week, as reported by Giuseppe Macri in The Daily Caller the FCC’s two Republican commissioners, Ajit Pai and Michael O’Rielly, asked Chairman Tom Wheeler “to delay the vote and release his proposal to the public. ‘We respectfully request that FCC leadership immediately release the 332-page Internet regulation plan publicly and allow the American people a reasonable period of not less than 30 days to carefully study it.’”
There is some evil at work here because, as the Republican commissioners point out, “the plan in front of us right now is so drastically different than the proposal the FCC adopted and put out for public comment last May.”
Shades of nObamaCare! Even the Democrats who voted that monstrosity into law had not read it. Now neither Congress, nor the rest of America is being permitted to see regulations that will determine what can and cannot be posted to the Internet, the greatest instrument of free speech ever invented since the printing press.
Commissioner Pai says that the FCC is “adopting a solution that won’t work to a problem that doesn’t exist using legal authority we don’t have.” He estimates that the regulations will add up to $11 billion in new taxes on Internet access.

AA%2B-%2BClosed%2BInternet%2BAhead.jpg
In a commentary, “Neutralize nObama’s Hijacking of the Internet”, Judi McLeod, the editor of CanadaFreePress.com, said “Forget NSA, the FBI, the CIA, and all warnings sent by Edward Snowden. They’ve got nothing on how Net Neutrality will silence you.”

“Someday in the near future when you type in the words “Islamic terrorists” in an Internet post, you will be knocked off the Net and find it all but impossible to climb back on again.”
Do I think the Congress will exercise its oversight responsibilities and stop this tyrannical power grab? No. Do I think our court system will do anything other than bow to precedent set by earlier FCC regulations? Yes.
As a nation founded on and devoted to freedom of speech, I think February 26, 2015 will go down in the history books as the day when that freedom came to an end in America.
Thanks to a National Security Agency we no longer have any privacy regarding anything we say using telephones, the Internet or any other form of communication.
If the Democrat-controlled FCC has its way, the Internet will slow your access and could eliminate access countless sites that provide news and express opinions the federal government finds offensive. That's what tyrannies do.
