Scott Walker of Wisconsin for the GOP nomination after Walker gave a bravura performance to big donors at New York’s Union League Club on Monday. Then Koch and the conservative network he founded and helps fund with brother Charles, hurried to clarify. The network revealed to Politico that yes, it might play in the GOP primary process but that Walker was not necessarily the choice. Walker being branded as the Kochs’ man, especially so early, would be bad for Walker. It would also hurt the conservative network’s ability to raise money from other mega-donors who might be backing other candidates. The plan, as told to Politico, is instead to wait and hold another forum for candidates this summer like the one the network hosted in January. -Fox News

She imported fish from China and remodeled her business to create a separate fish spa area. WH Spokesman Sneers at Senate Authority
(Bob Allen) - The Constitution gives the Senate authority to ratify treaties or not, no matter what Climate-Change-believers think...For example, during a recent White House press briefing, President nObama’s press secretary, Josh Earnest, was asked whether Congress should have a say on the agreement with China that commits the United States to reducing its carbon output over the next 10 years. Rather than taking it to Capitol Hill, however, Secretary of State Hanoi John Kerry submitted our “commitment” to the U.N. In response to the questioner, Earnest said many members of Congress “deny the fact that climate change even exists. So I’m not sure they would be in the best position to decide whether or not a climate change agreement is one that is worth entering into.” Earnest’s remarks show a contemptuous ignorance of the reasons behind our Constitution. nObama and the Media Still Hiding Immigration Agenda
(Roger Aronoff) - Once again, the nObama administration is deceiving the courts, and the American people, about its plans for amnesty for millions of current and future illegal aliens...And to make things worse, the Trans-Pacific Partnership Treaty, for which President nObama is seeking fast-track authority, would, according to Dick Morris, writing in The Hill, “override national immigration restrictions in the name of facilitating the free flow of labor.” And in this instance, whether wittingly or otherwise, Republicans are lining up to support the President in the name of free trade. The proposed free trade agreement would undermine Congressional oversight over immigration, adding more power to the presidency, Morris argues. (fixthisnation.com) - In an interview with Fox News Channel’s Sunday Morning Futures, Speaker of the House backstabber John Boehner touched on a number of issues, including the inactivity of Congress during the first 100 days...To that issue, he rejected the notion that the House has been passive, insisting that they had passed several bills that were currently awaiting votes in the Senate. But it was when the interview turned to President nObama’s executive actions on amnesty that backstabber Boehner went on the attack. “Presidents have the ability to take executive action,” he said, “but they don’t have the ability to change the law.” He said that nObama had crossed that line not only on illegal immigration but also on changes made to the Affordable Care Act. Unfortunately, this never-say-die version of backstabber John Boehner only seems to appear when there is a microphone in front of him. The president may not be authorized to change the law, but he’s certainly not being stopped by the likes of backstabber Boehner. If the name of the game was to criticize the president at every opportunity, backstabber Boehner would go down in history as the most effective Speaker to ever take office. Israel Independence Day: Would nObama Recognized Jewish State Like Truman Did?
(Jeff Dunetz) - Sixty-seven years ago tonight (by the Hebrew calendar) is the anniversary of Israel declaring her independence. That independence would have been very short lived were it not for the strong will of President Harry S Truman, who became the new State’s first international supporter...Truman recognized Israel not because of any political stance, but because he thought it was the right thing to do. When Israel’s Chief Rabbi, Isaac Herzog, visited the White House after Israel declared her independence he told Truman, “God put you in your mother’s womb so that you would be the instrument to bring the rebirth of Israel after 2000 years.” If Barack nObama was president 67 years ago, Israel may very well have been cast aside in deference to the King of Saudi Arabia and the Arab League. The Tectonic Shift in nObama's Iran Policy
(MICHAEL DORAN) - When President nObama took to the podium in the White House rose garden on April 2, his mood was victorious. With evident pride, he announced that negotiators in Lausanne had reached a “historic understanding with Iran, which . . . will prevent it from obtaining a nuclear weapon.”...In truth, the negotiators had reached no understanding, historic or otherwise. nObama was celebrating something that did not exist—at least not yet. Secretary of State Hanoi John Kerry and Iranian Foreign Minister Javad Zarif had failed to agree on a text describing the terms of the so-called “Lausanne framework.” In its place, each issued a separate “fact sheet.” On some key issues the documents contradicted each other; on others they were entirely mute. Crisis in Yemen: Situation report
(Alexis Knutsen) - The Saudi Press Agency issued a statement announcing the start of Operation Restoring Hope in Yemen. The operation's objectives are to facilitate the political process in accordance with UN Security Council Resolution 2216, to protect civilians, fight terrorism, facilitate foreign national evacuation and international humanitarian relief efforts...respond to al Houthi military actions and prevent the use of looted weapons, and to build on ongoing efforts to interdict weapons shipments to the al Houthis and to Saleh. Saudi Arabia also announced it would provide $274 million to the UN for humanitarian relief operations in Yemen. The official end to Operation Decisive Storm may have been because of its growing unpopularity in Yemen due to civilian casualties. An April 20 airstrike targeting a suspected Scud missile base in Faj Attan, western Sana’a, killed at least 46 people, including some civilians, on April 20. The U.S. has attempted to restrain Saudi-led airstrikes on Yemen. Apocalypse Now: The al-Baghdadi Cartel
(Dawn Perlmutter) - The al-Furqan Media Foundation, the media arm of the Islamic State aka ISIS, ISIL released a high production video on Sunday April 19, 2015 depicting the ritual executions of 28 Ethiopian Christians, in Libya...The men were killed in two locations. 16 men wearing black were lined up and shot dead at point blank range by 16 militants in a desert area. 12 men wearing orange jumpsuits were ceremonially paraded along the shoreline of a beach and beheaded in front of the water. Synchronized ritual murders, particularly beheadings of multiple victims by multiple offenders, have become a distinctive signature of the Islamic State. Two months ago 21 Egyptian Christians were also simultaneously beheaded on a Libyan beach and on November 16, 2014, 19 ISIS militants ritually beheaded 19 Syrian military personnel in Syria. During the desert execution in Libya, the leader, a masked fighter dressed in black waving a pistol vowed to kill Christians if they don’t convert. He said that those who “perform prayer and pay alms” will have “their blood and property” protected by the Prophet unless Islam “dictates otherwise.” Ten weeks ago the nObama administration defended its foreign policy by claiming that ISIS was not an existential threat to the U.S. Existential is a philosophical term that basically means that ISIS is not a deadly threat to our survival. nObama is blind or just not wanting to get involved. Hillary Can’t Win. Or Can She?
( Bruce Thornton) - Hilly Clinton has formally announced she is running for president. Thus begins one of the most interesting and consequential political experiments in American history, one that will unfold over the next year and a half...We are going to see if a candidate for president with no real-world experience, no notable achievements, and no charisma or likability can fool 62 million voters into making her president. ome may argue that we already conducted that experiment with Barack nObama, but there are several important differences. As a candidate, nObama could at least pretend to be likable. He made all the right noises about “no blue state America, no red state America,” promised “hope and change” for an electorate reeling from two wars and the Great Recession, and sold voters the notion that he would transcend the old politics of government gridlock and zero-sum partisanship. Also, he had a nice smile and could read a teleprompter well. More important, nObama was just black enough to make voters think that by electing him they could leave behind the old racial guilt drummed into America for the last 60 years, and finally reach the sunny uplands of racial reconciliation and harmony. Tunnel Detection System on Gaza Border

(jewishworldreview.com) - Israel’s defence establishment has successfully tested a tunnel detection system which aims to prevent cross-border attacks by Palestinian militants, a former Israeli commander dealing with the dismantling of the tunnels has revealed.
Israeli defence electronics company Elbit Systems is cooperating with the Israeli ministry of defence to develop the world’s first detection system for tunnels built across the Gaza border, some which are used by Gaza factions, such as Hamas and Islamic Jihad, to attack IDF soldiers and conduct kidnapping attempts against Israeli security personnel.
The system, which the company promises will give “no false alarms”, allegedly uses sensors to accurately detect tunnelling activity, before the information is deciphered by a series of algorithms, revealing the location of the tunnels. The total cost and the timeframe of the project could not be confirmed.
Col. (res) Atai Shelach, the former IDF commander of the elite Yahalom unit whose focus is on destroying the tunnels, told Newsweek that the “classified” system will provide the “golden answer” to preventing tunnel attacks from Gaza militants.
“It will be solved by an evolution of technologies, intelligence and operational acts. This is the triangle,” he says in reference to preventing the tunnel raids. “We won’t find the golden answer in technology, we won’t find the golden answer in operational acts and we won’t find the golden answer in intelligence. It’s a combination and the missing link is technology.”
“As long as we can keep it quiet it’s better because it’s an operational act and to terrorists it is like water, they are looking for the hole that they can lick,” the former commander, now an IDF reservist, adds. “Sometimes me and others make mistakes and talk too much.”
The technology has already been trialled in some parts of the Israel-Gaza border and will eventually extend along the entire frontier, the Israeli daily newspaper Yedioth Aharonot reported. Speaking to the newspaper, Alon Shuster, chief of the Sha’ar Hanegev Regional Council which borders eastern Gaza, said that the new technology would provide “an additional layer of security for the residents” of border areas.
The Israeli military said it launched its Operation Protective Edge in Gaza last July to destroy a vast tunnel network created by Palestinian militants for weapons smuggling purposes and cross-border attacks.
Earlier this month, Israeli analysts claimed that Hamas was preparing for the next conflict with Israel following the uncovering of an Israeli-Palestinian smuggling ring which attempted to transport high-tech equipment, such as infrared cameras and remote control security cameras - into the blockaded enclave.
In last summer’s 50-day conflict, over 2,100 Palestinians—at least 1,585 civilians of which 530 were children—were killed, according to UN and Palestinian accounts, and 72 Israelis—all but five soldiers—were killed, according to Israeli accounts. Eleven Israeli soldiers were killed by Palestinian gunmen entering into Israel via the cross-border tunnels.
An Elbit Systems representative was not immediately available for comment.
