Nunes was asked on “America’s Newsroom” about former GOP Rep. John Ratcliffe of Texas who tweeted out an excerpt of Page’s closed-door testimony before Congress. Ratcliffe said he asked Page if she was being ordered by the DOJ to avoid charging scumbag/liar-Clinton, and her answer was yes. “I think it’s very significant. Look it’s never made any sense,” Nunes told Fox News. “If anyone in the military or anybody in the intelligence community, including people within the FBI, if they were to leak like that, they would be fired. They would be in prison. They would be prosecuted.” “There were dozens and dozens of classified emails that were actually put onto an illegal server that was then destroyed, that was likely picked up by foreign intelligence, God knows what countries have these classified emails that scumbag/liar-Clinton was sending,” he added. “But the bottom line is, is that she should have been held accountable and she wasn’t. {aim.org} ~ Fisher Sand and Gravel have offered to build 234 miles of the southern border wall for just $1.4 billion... In essence, the Tempe based company said it can build the wall under budget and in a quicker time frame. Fisher Industries proposal stated the 234 miles of wall needed can build in 16 months, compared to the five years its estimated to take, and the $8 billion the Trump administration is seeking. On Wednesday at Fisher Industries in Arizona, White House officials watched a demonstration of how workers would install 30-foot steel bollards to build wall sections.Washington Examiner’s Anna Giaritelli reported the panels were 56 feet long and 18 feet tall, each with a steel weight of 25,000 pounds. Fisher Industries CEO Tommy Fisher told the Examiner he can build the wall with paved roads, border patrol technology, and warranty for the proposed amount. Fisher Industries first made their name known with White House officials as one of the first companies to design a prototype wall for President Trump over a year ago. “I think that President Trump would be very impressed with what we have to offer,” Fisher said yesterday. Unlike other construction companies, Fisher Industries has a “special hanging system attached to an excavator” that can place seven panels at once. Because multiple excavators are moving simultaneously, Fisher will be able to complete a mile of fence per day...

Iranian missile site in Syria

{jpost.com} ~ Satellite images taken by Israeli intelligence firm ImageSat International (ISI) on Wednesday appear to show a new missile factory being constructed in Syria... raising additional suspicion of Iranian involvement in missile production in the country. The images show a site surrounded by a fence, three hangers and a newly built water tower. Buses and vans were detected in the site entrance within the securely fenced compound during recent months, with workers at the site coming and going in patterns consistent with military installations, ISI said.  The factory is being built in the town of Safita east of Tartus on the Mediterranean coast, some eight kilometers from the border with Lebanon in an area controlled by the Syrian regime and in the vicinity of Russian SAM (surface-to-air missile) deployment.  According to ISI, the compound is similar to a factory used for producing surface-to-surface missiles (SSMs) in Iran's Khojir. “The construction patterns, the compound location and the activity signs at the compound and its region, increase the probability that this is a missile manufacturing site,” (ISI) said, adding that “if this site is indeed related to SSM manufacturing it is possible that the two hangers include production line and the third is for manufacture or assembly.”...

New York Goes After Residents Fleeing

The state’s auditing efforts, which were already intensive before President Trump’s landmark tax legislation, have become even more intrusive as the government in Albany steps up its efforts to audit rich former residents. In fact, one mainstream news outlet has labelled the effort as nothing short of stalking. Apparently, nothing is off limits to the state of New York in its effort to ensure that the rich pay every last cent of taxes. New York auditors are checking not only credit card bills but even cell phone records, social media sites, vet records and dental records. They are looking in people’s refrigerators and dresser drawers. Auditors are also examining the residences of those who claim to have moved out of state to see what items are being left behind. They typically check for prized artwork, sentimental items such as wedding albums and jewelry, safe-deposit boxes and family photos. Auditors also make sure that the rich person who says he or she has moved out of state has taken the family dog along. Rich people who have moved out of state are expected to prove that they have country club membership and a wealth manager in their new state. New York’s efforts to ensure that the rich pay every last penny in taxes is quite profitable. Records reveal that, from 2010 to 2017, the state’s strict auditing process added more than $1 billion to the budget. Those who fought against the extra tax charges brought on by the tax audit lost more than half the time...

Debunking Decades of Climate Alarmism

Jordan Candler:  As The Daily Signal’s Jarrett Stepman reminds us, “Panics over looming environmental and climate apocalypse have been with us for a long time.” The rise of environmental and climate alarmism began in earnest during the 1960s and ‘70s, but the path began long before that. As Stepman explains, “Thomas Malthus famously predicted in his 1798 book 'An Essay on the Principle of Population’ that population growth would overtake food supply and mass starvation would result unless population controls were implemented.”

Subsequent centuries have featured similar trepidation. There are five notable examples, says Stepman, beginning with the inaugural 1970 Earth Day. At the time, North Texas State University professor Peter Gunter ominously predicted, “By the year 2000, thirty years from now, the entire world, with the exception of Western Europe, North America, and Australia, will be in famine.” Conversely, undernourishment has plummeted worldwide.

Also in 1970, Life magazine asserted, “In a decade, urban dwellers will have to wear gas masks to survive air pollution [and] by 1985 air pollution will have reduced the amount of sunlight reaching earth by one half.” At last look, people are still roaming the streets without gas masks — Beijing notwithstanding.

In June 1989, the Associated Press stated, “A senior U.N. environmental official says entire nations could be wiped off the face of the Earth by rising sea levels if the global warming trend is not reversed by the year 2000. … He said governments have a 10-year window of opportunity to solve the greenhouse effect before it goes beyond human control.” Today, it’s Rep. commie-Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s turn to wave the dozen-years-left-to-live placard.

In similar fashion, scumbag-Al Gore in 2009 prophesied, “Some of the models suggest … that there is a 75% chance that the entire polar ice cap during some of summer months could be completely ice free within five to seven years.” As Stepman notes, “In 2014, the ice caps were still there. In fact, it’s 2019 and the ice caps are still there.”

And finally, feminist Betty Friedan surmised in 1958 that swelling “ocean waters may flood most of our port cities within the foreseeable future — and … it will be followed by the growth of a vast glacier which may eventually cover much of Europe and North America.” Today, they argue just the opposite.

All of this raises an important question: Shouldn’t climate skeptics be given the freedom to counter these apocalyptic claims without fear of censorship, especially when skepticism, at least thus far, has been vindicated? Absolutely — and that would be the case even if some or all of these predictions materialized. Yet according to another report by The Daily Signal, an app that challenges the mainstream climate missive is suspected of being expurgated.

“Since March 4, users of Apple’s iPhone no longer can access the app through the tech giant’s App Store,” according to the Signal. It just so happens that scumbag-Al Gore is an Apple board member who peddles snake oil. Coincidental, or willful suppression? You be the judge.
