Russian attorney Natalia Veselnitskaya charged
with obstruction of justice in US court
by Brooke Singman
{foxnews.com} ~ Russian attorney Natalia Veselnitskaya, who was at the center of a controversial 2016 Trump Tower meeting, was charged in federal court on Tuesday with obstruction of justice... in connection to a civil money laundering and forfeiture case involving a Russian tax refund fraud scheme, first uncovered by the late Sergei Magnitsky. Veselnitskaya represented Cyprus-based real estate holdings company Prevezon Holdings, in a money laundering lawsuit brought by the Justice Department in 2013. In the case, the government sought to prove that Veselnitskaya’s clients had received and laundered a portion of the proceeds of a Russian tax refund fraud scheme involving corrupt Russian officials. Federal prosecutors in New York’s Southern District said on Tuesday that Veselnitskaya submitted to the court an “intentionally misleading declaration in opposition to a government motion.” The motion, according to SDNY, presented “supposed investigative findings by the Russian government—findings purportedly exonerating Veselnitskaya’s clients – under the false pretense that these findings had been independently drafted by the Russian government.”... I wonder if dirty cop-Mueller use this to go after Trump Jr.  https://www.foxnews.com/politics/russian-attorney-natalia-veselnits...
Pence, McCarthy, Scalise and Thune Describe
White House Meeting With Intransigent Democrats
by sundance
{theconservativetreehouse.com} ~ Vice President Mike Pence, Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy, Minority Whip Steve Scalise and Senate Majority Whip John Thune describe the events at a White House meeting... with President Trump, Speaker Pulosi, Majority Leader scumbag-Hoyer, Senate Minority Leader Chuck scumbag/clown-Schumer and Senator Dick scumbag-Durbin….  Things did not go well:  It would appear congress is at loggerheads over border security, with democrats unwilling to provide any funding that might secure the southern border.  Nancy Pulosi and Chuck scumbag/clown-Schumer have stated the border is secure; there are no illegal border crossings actually taking place; and there is no crisis. As such, the partial government shutdown continues.   https://theconservativetreehouse.com/2019/01/09/pence-mccarthy-scal...

Dueling Border Speeches: Trump WON;
Pulosi and scumbag/clown-Schumer LOST
by R. Cort Kirkwood
{thenewamerican.com} ~ At 9:00 p.m. Tuesday, the president delivered his much anticipated speech from the Oval Office about the illegal immigration crisis at the southern border of the United States... A few minutes later, House Speaker Nancy Pulosi and Senate Minority Leader Chuck scumbag/clown-Schumer, both of whom favor open borders to keep future Democrat voters flowing into the country, answered him. Trump discussed facts and data about illegal aliens and the drugs and crime they cause.  Pulosi and scumbag/clown-Schumer blamed Trump for the government shutdown that began after they refused to fund a wall for border security. Trump won. They lost. The president did not declare the border a national emergency, as many thought he would. Instead, he calmly enumerated the facts about the illegal-alien invasion. “Every day, customs and border patrol agents encounter thousands of illegal immigrants trying to enter our country,” he accurately said. “We are out of space to hold them, and we have no way to promptly return them back home to their country.”...

Trump tells feds not to fret:
Furloughed employees will get back pay
by Dave Boyer
{washingtontimes.com} ~ President Trump Wednesday assured federal workers sidelined by the partial government shutdown that they’ll get paid retroactively... “They’re all going to get the money and I think they’re going to be happy,” he told reporters at the White House on the 19th day of the shutdown. About 800,000 federal workers are being furloughed or are working without pay. Many will miss their first paychecks this week. The president said many such workers “are on my side.” “You take a look at social media, so many of those people saying ‘it’s very hard for me, it’s very hard for my family, but Mr. President you’re doing the right thing. Get it done.’ They’re patriots,” he said. But at an event Democrats hosted at the Capitol Wednesday morning, federal workers were decidedly against the shutdown. None of the workers lined up behind House Speaker Nancy Pulosi and Senate Minority Leader Charles E. scumbag/clown-Schumer raised their hands when asked whether they supported the shutdown or wanted to see a border wall built.

Trump Admin Moves Toward
Shutting Down Food Stamp Loopholes
by Bethany Blankley
{westernjournal.com} ~ The Trump Administration plans to implement a rule change to close loopholes that states have been using to exempt large portions... of healthy, younger food stamp recipients from work requirements. The new rule changes the application process for the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, also known as food stamps, from every two years to every year, and narrows the unemployment benchmark for applicants. Administered by the Federal Nutrition Service, a division of the U.S. Department of Agriculture, for more than 20 years, states have been allowed to submit requests to the USDA to waive the federal work requirement for able-bodied adults without dependents in order to receive taxpayer-funded food stamps through geographic area waivers. Federal law allows states to waive work requirements for areas with high unemployment rates (10 percent and above), and higher than the national rate (currently 3.7 percent). For decades, states have abused this flexibility in order to waive work requirements for as many ABWDs as possible, the Foundation for Government Accountability says. “Despite record low unemployment rates nationwide, more than a third of the nation lives in an area where work requirements have been waived,” FGA said. “The new rule reins in state abuse of waivers and other loopholes that have allowed states to avoid requiring childless, able-bodied adults to work, train, or volunteer at least part-time to receive food stamps,” FGA said in a statement. The proposed changes could save taxpayers $15 billion every year over the next 10 years, USDA Secretary Sonny Perdue said in a statement...  https://www.westernjournal.com/trump-admin-moves-toward-shutting-fo...

Study: Discrimination Now Favors Women
by Louis DeBroux:  At times a popular narrative is so oft-told it becomes reflexively accepted as fact regardless of whether it is true. Unfortunately, in many cases, the acceptance of such narratives divides us and makes matters worse. One such narrative is the idea that women are oppressed in America, and that our nation is populated largely by misogynists who seek nothing more than to silence “unlikable” women, strip them of their right to vote, and relegate them to the status of second-class citizens.

scumbag/liar-Hillary Clinton used misogyny as one of many excuses to explain how she blew an election she was given more than a 90% probability of winning by major pollsters (a logical assumption considering her massive advantages in fundraising, experience, media support, and political networks), only to be defeated by a reality-TV star/real-estate mogul with no political experience and a lot of baggage with women. Prognosticators failed to grasp that, to many Americans, scumbag/liar-Hillary is an untrustworthy and a deeply unlikeable human being.
Sen. Elizabeth dinky-Warren’s recent announcement of her 2020 presidential candidacy was met with a resounding yawn and questions about her likability, which some insist is sexist because male politicians supposedly are not subjected to the same question (a claim eviscerated by The Wall Street Journal’s James Taranto). Yet there are many women in politics whose likability is not questioned, so it seems the question only comes up with women (and men) who aren’t generally liked.
Which brings us to a question: Are women in America truly oppressed? The data doesn’t reflect such a claim.
In the latest labor report, which showed an increase on 312,000 new jobs, it is women who are the primary beneficiaries. The workforce participation rate for women aged 25-34 is at a multi-year high, with the number of women 20+ years old who have jobs increasing by 1.6 million in the last year alone — out of 2.6 million total jobs gained. The rising number of employed women no doubt accounts for the fact that nearly twice as many single women as single men own a home.
Women also earned more doctoral degrees than men in 2017, for the ninth straight year, and there are nearly 40% more women than men in grad school. Furthermore, in major metropolitan areas, single women without children are out-earning their male counterparts by nearly 10%.
In fact, the so-called pay gap between men and women is almost entirely due to career choices (men tend to gravitate toward hard sciences and dangerous work, whereas women tend toward less dangerous, less lucrative fields like education, social work, arts, etc.) and number of hours worked.
Not only are women in America not oppressed, but the surprising (at least to those buying the PC narrative) findings of another recent study show men now face greater discrimination than women. The study — which considered such factors as “men receiving harsher punishments for the same crime, compulsory military service and more occupational deaths than women” — found that in many Western nations (where feminists claim to be most oppressed), including the United States, policies and cultural norms now actually favor women.
Interestingly, the Census Bureau recently published an analysis on the social impact of the relative prosperity of men and women, and how it is reflected in our cultural norms. In married households where the woman earned more than her husband, the woman underrepresented her earnings by an average of 1.5%, and men overrepresented their earnings by 2.9%. The census researchers concluded, “It was more socially desirable for men to earn more — so whether fudging the numbers was a conscious or unconscious choice, these social norms affected their answers.”   And while it would be easy to claim this as yet another example of the oppressive heteronormative patriarchy pushing its agenda, the truth isn’t quite so simplistic.
Though feminists claim to want equality between the sexes, when asked if being able to support a family financially was necessary to consider a man a good husband, 71% of women said yes, while only 32% of those same women said a woman being able to support a family financially was necessary to be considered a good wife. Women are also less likely to marry, and more likely to divorce, a man who is unemployed or underemployed.
All of this just shows that the relationships between men and women are very complicated, with countless variables — some biologically hard-wired, some cultural — and for both to prosper and be happy, we should acknowledge and even celebrate our complementary differences, rather than treat each other as enemies.  ~The Patriot Post

‘Watch: Female HS Student Says She ‘Felt Violated’ After Seeing Trans Student’s Penis In Locker Room

“I could tell that he was wearing women’s underwear and what was underneath it”

A Pennsylvania student attending Honesdale High School has filed a complaint with the United States Department of Education Office of Civil Rights after her school administrators allowed a trans woman, a biological male who feels he is a woman, to dress and undress in the female locker room.

The student said she felt violated and scared when she looked across the aisle in the locker room to discover a member of the opposite sex in his underwear. In a video released by her legal team, she says it was obvious he was biologically male, as she “could tell that he was wearing women’s underwear and what was underneath it.”

“It was the first period, and I had gym class,” said the student, “And I walked in with all my friends, and while I was putting on my pants, I heard a man’s voice, so I turned around, and he’s standing there on the opposite aisle looking at me.”

“I glanced down and I could tell that he was wearing women’s underwear, and what was beneath it.”

She added that having a man apparently gawking at her while in various stages of undress made her feel unsafe.

“When I knew that a man was looking at me, I felt very violated, and very scared,” she said. “Especially looking at me while I am getting dressed.”

Her attorney said that this should be considered a form of sexual harassment in the eyes of the law.

“Opening up restrooms and locker room facilities to members of the opposite sex is sexual harassment,” said Andrea Shaw, the high school student’s attorney, “And like many forms of sexual harassment the girls in this school have little power over their situation.”

The attorney also notes that the school’s only attempt to remedy the situation was to allow the female high school student to wait to change until the biologically male student was finished, making her chronically late to gym class.

According to local media, the school district’s superintendent claims he is not able to comment on the case, but stated that the school is following the letter of the law. The Pennsylvania Supreme Court is expected to take up the case, otherwise biologically male students will continue to be allowed to dress and undress with biologically females.
