{westernjournal.com} ~ Despite a long, drawn-out investigation that hasn’t uncovered any evidence of collusion between Russia and the Trump campaign... Democratic Rep. scumbag-Adam Schiff continues to push the narrative, insisting there’s is “evidence in plain sight.” So, in true “Bulldog Gowdy” form, Republican Trey Gowdy, the former South Carolina representative and federal prosecutor, decided to give the California politician a little English lesson. During “The Story with Martha MacCallum” Tuesday night, MacCallum played Gowdy a clip of scumbag-Schiff claiming there’s clear evidence that President Donald Trump colluded with the Russian government during the 2016 presidential election.“You can see evidence in plain sight on the issue of collusion, pretty compelling evidence,” scumbag-Schiff said Monday on CNN. “Now, there is a difference between seeing evidence of collusion and being able to prove a criminal conspiracy beyond a reasonable doubt.” scumbag-Schiff apparently couldn’t see the obvious contradiction in his comments, so Gowdy gave him a lesson on the word “collusion.” “Well, collusion is a synonym for conspiracy,” Gowdy said. “So, I hope the questioner followed up and said, ‘OK, Chairman scumbag-Schiff, you have just said that you have evidence of a criminal conspiracy between the president of the United States and the Russian state. What is that evidence? What is the crime?'”...

{westernjournal.com} ~ The Council on American-Islamic Relations announced on Monday that Democratic Michigan Rep. Rashida Tlaib will be speaking at CAIR-Michigan’s annual banquet only days after... the Hamas-linked organization revealed that fellow Democratic Rep. Ilhan Omar of Minnesota will be speaking at CAIR-LA’s annual banquet. CAIR is a notable pro-Palestinian organization with ties to Islamic terror groups. The U.S. Department of Justice listed CAIR as an unindicted co-conspirator in funding millions of dollars to the terrorist organization Hamas. Additionally, the United Arab Emirates named CAIR a terrorist organization along with al-Qaeda and the Islamic State in 2014. Tlaib will be the guest speaker at CAIR-Michigan’s 19th annual “Faith-Led, Justice Driven” banquet on March 17, according to the organization’s invitation. Single tickets start at $50 per person and a table can cost upwards of $500. Tickets for Omar’s March 23 event start at a similar price point. Omar and Tlaib became America’s first Muslim congresswomen when sworn into office in January. Their time in office has been  embroiled in allegations of anti-Semitism. Tlaib invited a pro-Hezbollah, anti-Israel activist to her swearing-in ceremony and the following private dinner in January. Days later, an op-ed column she wrote in 2006 for Final Call, a Nation of Islam publication founded by Louis Farrakhan, surfaced. She also has come under scrutiny for having ties to other anti-Israel individuals and for questioning the loyalty of Republican lawmakers who support the Jewish nation-state... Why is congress letting this happen. Where are you speaker.  https://www.westernjournal.com/first-two-muslim-congresswomen-fundraising-terror-linked-organization/?utm_source=Email&utm_medium=conservativevideos&utm_campaign=dailypm&utm_content=libertyalliance

{thefederalist.com} ~ Democrats’ unwillingness to secure our borders is evidenced in their grimaces during the immigration portion of President Trump’s most recent State of the Union and scores of their members hocking superficial “smart walls,”... calling to abolish Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), and supporting sanctuary cities. This all underscores their antipathy toward national sovereignty and citizenship. Yet to the left’s credit, they persistently push such policies until they achieve victory, which means more political power, territorial integrity, and fidelity to Americans and legal immigrants be damned. Exhibit A, which has flown largely under the radar, is Democrats’ opposition to the Trump administration’s plan to reinstate a citizenship question in the 2020 census. As a reflection of how big of a priority this is for Democrats, Sens. scumbag-Bob Menendez, scumbag-Cory Booker, scumbag-Mazie Hirono, and Minority Leader Chuck scumbag-Schumer, along with a coterie of presidential contending cosponsors, reintroduced the deceptively dubbed “Every Person Counts Act” as one of their earliest actions in this new congressional session. This bill dovetails with leftist activist groups’ ongoing litigation against the Trump administration on the citizenship question, which the Department of Justice (DOJ) has successfully asked be fast-tracked to the Supreme Court. Democrats’ legislation would stipulate that, on the census, the “Secretary of Commerce may not include any question or otherwise elicit any information regarding United States citizenship or immigration status.”...
Pulosi Urges Congress To

{dailycaller.com} ~ House Speaker Nancy Pulosi urged all members of Congress on Wednesday night in a “Dear Colleague” letter to stop President Donald Trump’s emergency declaration related to the southern border... by co-sponsoring a privileged resolution of Democratic Texas Rep. Joaquin Castro. According to Pulosi, the resolution would terminate the emergency declaration using a mechanism within the National Emergencies Act (NEA), which will be introduced Friday. Trump declared a national emergency Feb. 15 after Congress allocated $1.375 billion for a wall along the southern border. The declaration gives the president access to $8 billion dollars for the wall. Sixteen states have already filed lawsuits to stop the president from using funding from other projects within the Department of Defense for the construction of the wall. The privileged resolution relating to Trump’s Feb. 15 national emergency declaration reads:“Resolved by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That, pursuant to section 202 of the National Emergencies Act (50 U.S.C. 1622), the national emergency declared by the finding of the President on February 15,  2019, in Proclamation 9844 (84 Fed. Reg. 4949) is hereby terminated.”... Where was Pulosi with the previous presidents with their declarations. You are really a stupid speaker.  https://dailycaller.com/2019/02/20/pelosi-congress-block-trump-emergency/?utm_medium=email

Iran and India Slam Pakistan
for 'Sheltering Terrorists'

{meforum.org} ~ Iran and India are both outraged over recent terror attacks that appear to involve networks linked to extremists in Pakistan. Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Commander Mohammed Ali Jafar called on Pakistan to fight "takifiri" terrorists... after 27 IRGC members were killed in a suicide bombing targeting a bus near the Pakistan border. Meanwhile India is also outraged at a terror attack in Pulwana in which 40 Indian Central Reserve Police Force members were killed. The attack on the Indian security forces in Jammu and Kashmir also targeted a bus. A group called Jaish-e-Mohammed was fingered as responsible. In Iran it was the IRGC members patrolling the border in Sistan and Baluchestan province and the attack is blamed on Jaish al-Asl, a Baluch militant group. In both cases the attacks took place in regions that have long had a restive insurgency involving Islamist groups that are both separatists and involved in terrorism. In both cases the groups are said to receive support from across the border in Pakistan. Indian intelligence chiefs are meeting and expected to come down harshly on Pakistan for its alleged involvement. This is not the first time that extremists from Pakistan have attacked India, either in Kashmir or Mumbai and other areas. India and Iran have received sympathy from countries around the world, particularly Russia which sent condolences to both. Iran appears ready to strike at the militants across the border if Pakistan  does not act quickly. India says it is working to isolate Pakistan diplomatically after the attack. Like Iran, India has said those responsible in Pakistan will pay a "heavy price" and this indicates there may be reprisals... Why is Iran complaining?  https://www.meforum.org/57828/iran-india-slam-pakistan-sheltering-terrorists?utm_source=Middle+East+Forum&utm_campaign=a8de951057-EMAIL_CAMPAIGN_2019_02_21_01_34&utm_medium=email&utm_term=0_086cfd423c-a8de951057-33703665&mc_cid=a8de951057&mc_eid=f33b9e6c12

Government's a Problem, Say a Record
Number of Americans. But Why?

by Jordan Candler:  If there’s one thing we can say is unequivocal about government shutdowns, it’s that they draw the ire and attention of voters. This is clearly evident in Gallup polling, which for decades has surveyed Americans on their perception of urgent issues. Today, “Thirty-five percent of Americans name the government, poor leadership or politicians as the greatest problem facing the U.S.,” Gallup reported this week.

The data present several interesting takeaways. For starters, shutdowns put an unwelcome spotlight on leadership chasms — the definition of “leadership” being somewhat ambiguous. Gallup says the 35% figure “is the highest percentage Gallup has recorded for this concern, edging out the previous high of 33% during the 2013 federal government shutdown.” Furthermore, “The current percentage of Americans naming government as the most important problem is nearly twice as high as the 18% recorded in November. That increase likely reflects public frustration with the government shutdown that occurred from late December through most of January.”

Shutdowns happen because one party, wisely or not, stands its ground by refusing to compromise on last-minute spending negotiations. This inevitably results in questions over aptitude for one or both party leaders.

Case in point: “An analysis of the verbatim responses to the question from the latest survey finds that 11% of Americans specifically cite ‘Donald Trump’ as the most important problem, while 5% name ‘the Democrats’ or ‘liberals’ and 1% ‘Congress.’ About half of those who say the government is the most important problem — 18% of U.S. adults — blame both parties or cite ‘gridlock,’ ‘lack of cooperation’ or the shutdown more generally. The latter figure has grown from 6% in December and 12% in January.”

The second takeaway is more pernicious. Gallup says, “Americans have become more likely to name the government and/or leadership as the country’s greatest problem over the past decade. From 2001 through 2009, yearly averages of this measure were consistently below 10%, but mentions of government as the foremost challenge have become more pervasive in the decade since. In 2010 to 2016, average mentions of the government as the biggest problem ranged from 12% to 19%.”

As tempting as it may be to think so, this trend doesn’t seem to originate from a desire to reverse our ever-expanding government. Quite the contrary, in fact. As one analyst points out, if desire for limited government and fiscal conservatism were truly the catalysts for these concerns, the record high would have been set when Ronald Reagan was entering office or when the Tea Party was set into motion. But it only hit a record, ironically, during a partial government shutdown.

And as Gallup critically reveals, “While Democrats were more likely than Republicans to name government and leadership as the top problem facing the nation in the year leading up to the latest poll, both party groups are now about as likely to name government as the top U.S. problem.” Reread this part again: “Democrats were more likely than Republicans to name government and leadership as the top problem facing the nation.” Many of these are socialism-supporting obstructionists. Reining in government is hardly on their mind.

Sadly, many Americans are concerned about government and leadership for entirely the wrong reasons, because their idea of how government should operate and what “leadership” actually means are contorted. This poll reflects the inverted environment that polarization and cultural decay create.  ~The Patriot Post
