With DRUG CARTELS? – Secrets Coming
Out In Fast and Furious
{ rickwells.us } ~ Congressman Darrell Issa was chairman of the House Government Oversight and Reform Committee during the Fast and Furious scandal... He speaks to the significance of the new document production and the crimes of scum-Eric Holder that may now finally be exposed. Issa says, “It’s important because it does give us access, not just to the documents that are going to be turned over but an agreed on search. In other words, scum-Eric Holder systematically obstructed justice, including carefully making sure that the search was not thorough enough.”  He says, “Once that was discovered and agreed to, it gives us an opportunity to get these documents and maybe additional documents that will shed light, for the Terry family, on the one question you heard Brian’s brother ask. It’s not just the cover up but it’s why.”...  https://rickwells.us/holder-obama-drug-cartels/

Crafting a US Response to Turkish Intransigence
by Gregg Roman
{ meforum.org } ~ In a rare public policy speech in mid-December, National Security Advisor H.R. McMaster singled out Turkey... as one of the two leading state sponsors alongside Qatar of "radical Islamist ideology." The Turkish government protested the statement as "astonishing, baseless and unacceptable," which means it was a pretty good start. McMaster's speech highlighted an emerging recognition among Trump administration officials that Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's Turkey poses a pernicious threat to US interests in the Near East. Since McMaster's speech, Erdoğan has invaded Afrin, Syria a city then controlled by America's Kurdish allies, massacring women, children and the elderly; promoted the use of child soldiers in his fight against the Kurds; and undermined U.S. sanctions against Iran. A Manhattan Federal District Court's guilty verdict against a Turkish banker accused of helping Iran evade sanctions speaks volumes about the growing threat posed by Erdoğan's Turkey. Although Erdoğan was not charged in the case, "testimony suggested he had approved the defendant's sanctions-busting scheme" to launder billions of dollars for Iran beginning in 2012, according to the New York Times...  http://www.meforum.org/7239/crafting-a-us-response-to-turkish-intra...

Now Is Congress’ Prime
Opportunity to Act on Nuclear Waste
by Katie Tubb
Congress has pushed through a series of five stopgap measures to fund the government... and is now in final negotiations for a trillion-dollar omnibus spending bill to cover the rest of the fiscal year. For an hour on Monday night, a group of congressmen from both parties and from all across the U.S. took the floor to remind the nation and their colleagues why funding for nuclear waste management needs to be in that bill. Or, as one congressman put it, “why we need to get our act together.” To address the storage issue, Congress directed the Energy Department to begin collecting nuclear waste by 1998 and chose Yucca Mountain in Nevada as the site for a permanent repository, pending approval from the Nuclear Regulatory Commission. Yet 20 years later, Americans are still waiting... http://dailysignal.com/2018/03/07/now-congress-prime-opportunity-ac...

Is the Country Music Industry Turning Left?

by Culture Beat:  Former Arkansas governor, presidential candidate and Fox News contributor Mike Huckabee accepted an appointment to the Country Music Association Foundation of directors last week only to resign the next day after receiving a backlash of politically motivated attacks from a number of country music executives for his social views. One of those most critical of Huckabee was the prominent executive Jason Owen, who represents such country artists as Little Big Town, Kacey Musgraves and Faith Hill.
Owens, who is a practicing homosexual and is “married” to his partner, blasted the CMA Foundation, writing, “Sandbox and Monument will no longer support the CMA Foundation in any way (this includes everyone we represent collectively) considering the heartbreaking news shared today regarding Mike Huckabee appointee/elected to the CMA Foundation.” He continued, “As you may know I have a child and two on the way. This man has made it clear that my family is not welcome in his America. And the CMA has opened their arms to him, making him feel welcome and relevant.”

In his letter of resignation Huckabee expressed his hurt over being mischaracterized and bemoaned the “intolerance” expressed by those who were critical of his appointment. Writing to the CMA Foundation, Huckabee said, “I have no expectation that it will change the irrational vitriol directed toward you or me for my religious or political views that necessitated my abrupt departure. I want you to know what you would never know by reading intolerant and vicious statements on the internet about who I am or what led me to want to be a part of your efforts to empower kids with the gift of music.” He adds, “Music changed my life. I was never good enough to make a full-time living at music, but the confidence I gained by playing, being in front of people, and competing against myself and the low expectations I grew up with was transformative.
Huckabee then called out what has become increasingly prevalent within much of the mainstream media culture today — leftist intolerance. He wrote, “If the industry doesn’t want people of faith or who hold conservative and traditional political views to buy tickets and music, they should be forthcoming and say it.” The fact of the matter is that when artistic expression is relegated to only one political and social worldview, it quickly loses its genuine artistry and devolves into mere ideological propaganda. And it loses audience appeal.
Perhaps that’s because this is yet another case of a loud minority of gender confused people dictating policy for a larger group.   ~The Patriot Pos

ALERT ALERT

Kavanaugh Accuser Donated   To Hillary Clinton  10 Times,  60+ Liberal Groups

Reportedly attempted to conceal political activity by scrubbing social media accounts

Over the weekend, a name and face were added to the previously anonymous sexual assault allegation against Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh, which is now threatening to derail his nomination. Those looking to obstruct Kavanaugh’s confirmation certainly saved their best for last, as the prior attempts included pathetic stunts such as:

– Claiming to file perjury charges against Kavanaugh, which only Jeff Sessions would have the ability to file.

– Packing the hearings with hysterical protesters, resulting in hundreds of arrests.

– Threatening female Republicans with extortion.

– Cory Booker comparing himself to Spartacus, the escaped slave who led a revolt against the Romans.

The identity of the accuser was revealed as Christine Blasey Ford, who has agreed testify before the Senate Judiciary Committee. Ford reportedly made the allegations back in July in a letter to Senator Dianne Feinstein, and Feinstein waited until it was close to the vote to confirm Kavanaugh before making the accusations public.

There’s a record of Ford making the accusation in a 2012 therapy session, though Kavanaugh isn’t named in the session notes that Ford gave to the press. Ford alleges that in the early 1980s, Kavanaugh entered a room drunk, pinned her to a bed, and groped her over her clothing. Kavanaugh “categorically denied” the allegations.View image on Twitter

Fin Gomez @finnygo   NEW: Statement from Judge Brett Kavanaugh:

There is a slight discrepancy in the account Ford provided in her letter to Feinstein and in her therapist’s notes, but that could simply be due to an error on her therapists part.

There are however some other questions that need to be answered which call into question Ford’s motives.

As Grabien reported, they include:

1. Why Ford deleted her public social media accounts before revealing herself.

Ford deleted all of her public social media before she came forward, making it difficult to see the advocacy and partisanship she was engaged in the time leading up to her making her allegation public. Of course, Ford may simply value her privacy, but the act of deleting her public postings will inevitably make some wonder what she didn’t want seen.

2. That Ford may have an unrelated grudge against Kavanaugh, as his mother, once a circuit court judge, ruled against Ford’s parents.

In August 1996, Christine Blasey Ford’s parents, Paula and Ralph Blasey, were foreclosed upon. Kavanaugh’s mom, Martha, was then serving as a judge on the Montgomery Country Circuit Court, and she ruled against Christine Ford’s parents.

3. That Ford is a Democrat who donates to left-wing causes, attended the anti-Trump March for Science, and previously signed an open letter challenging Trump’s border policy.

Ford is a political activist who has made dozens of donations to left-wing causes. According to OpenSecrets, she has made more than 60 donations to liberal causes, with almost four dozen to the pro-abortion group, Emily’s List, alone. Ford also donated to the DNC, Hillary Clinton (more than 10 times), Bernie Sanders, and the progressive organizing group ActBlue.

Ford likewise attended the anti-Trump March for Science, where she wore a hat knitted like a human brain, but inspired by the feminist “pussy hats” worn at the Women’s Marches. Ford also added her name to an open letter from health professionals who argued the U.S. border policy resulting in temporary separation of some families was harmful to children’s development.

There’s no statute of limitations on sexual assault in Maryland, where she claims that the assault happened. Rather than go to the police, Ford went to Dianne Feinstein. If her accusations are true, she should immediately file a police report against Kavanaugh and take him to trial. If she doesn’t, perhaps that’s because she knows the consequences of filing a false police report.
