{thepoliticalinsider.com} ~ This morning’s testimony by Kavanaugh accuser Christine  Blasey Ford has been a train wreck of lies and contradictions... the latest involving who she told about the alleged abuse and when. Prosecutor Rachel Mitchell  questioned Ford about whether or not she went to any members of Congress with her story prior to July.“No,” she responded. Mitchell followed up by asking what motivated her to contact the Washington Post on July 6th, to which she replied that she was “panicking” and her beach friends urged her to call newspapers or her congresswoman. There’s one major flaw in that argument – The Post itself reported  that  Ford had relayed those terrible memories “only in therapy and with her husband.”The Mercury News reported that Ford did  speak with two friends after having written Senator Dianne Fein-stein. “I’ve been trying to forget this all my life, and now I’m supposed to remember every little detail,” one of those friends recalled saying at a Junior Lifeguard program. “They’re going to be all over me.” Additionally, Ford never named Kavanaugh specifically in the therapist notes she provided to the Post. She only told the therapist that she was assaulted by students “from an elitist boys’ school.”...

socialist-Beto O’Rourke Called Out for Lying About DUI Incident

{restoreamericanglory.com} ~ During a Senate debate with Ted Cruz last week, dummycrats-Democrat challenger socialist-Beto O’Rourke said that the facts about a DUI incident he was involved with... 20 years ago had been blown out of proportion. While he admitted what he had to admit – that he was drunk beyond his capacity to drive at the time of the car accident – he said that he did not attempt to flee the scene of the crime at any time. “I did not try to leave the scene of the accident,” he said at the debate. “Though driving drunk, which I did, is a terrible mistake for which there is no excuse or justification or defense, and I will not try to provide one.” socialist-O’Rourke’s answer, while appearing to take full responsibility for the crime, is in conflict with contemporaneous police reports about the incident. The Washington Post, which is accustomed to giving liberal dummycrats-Democrats a pass when they bend the truth, knew this was one they had to nail socialist-O’Rourke on. They gave him the dreaded Four Pinocchios for his debate answer, telling readers that one could hardly prefer socialist-O’Rourke’s 20-year-old, drunken memory of the incident over what police said at the time. “The defendant/driver then attempted to leave the scene,” reported Officer Richard Carrera at the time. “The reporter then turned on his overhead lights to warn oncoming traffic and try to get the defendant to stop.”...

House GOP, why haven't you endorsed
Jim Jordan for speaker yet?

{washingtonexaminer.com} ~ House Republicans, why haven't you endorsed Jim Jordan for speaker of the House yet?... That is the question more than 1,000 grassroots activists from at least 11 states will be asking their representatives on Wednesday during the FreedomWorks "Rally for the Republic" day of action. Mothers, fathers, small-business owners, college students, taxpayers of all races, ages, and economic circumstances will be taking time out of their busy schedules to demand their representatives support Rep. Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, for speaker of the House of Representatives. Some activists will sacrifice precious time needed to get their households organized in the first month back to school. Others, still reeling from the aftermath of Hurricane Florence, will postpone their own recovery efforts to make the trip. If taxpayers are willing to disrupt their lives in the middle of a work week to travel to Washington, you can bet they will make time to vote in November. For the most active voting bloc in the Republican Party fiscal conservatives, the speakership battle is the defining issue of the midterm elections. If a GOP majority is not led by individuals who believe in transparency and small government, what is the point of having a Republican majority at all?...  https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/opinion/house-gop-why-havent-you-endorsed-jim-jordan-for-speaker-yet

Senator lowlife-Kamala Harris Busted
For Hypocrisy About Gun Control

{preparedgunowners.com} ~ This shouldn’t come as any surprise to anyone who watched the recent Supreme Court hearings for the nomination of Brett Kavanaugh... but California Senator lowlife-Kamala Harris is a hypocrite when it comes to gun control. How can I say that, you may ask? That’s a valid question with a simple answer. I say that because she doesn’t want you and I to have the same ability to protect ourselves using firearms of which she takes advantage. Is that clear enough for everyone? But some will argue that a high-profile politician should get special treatment. Really? Codrea covers that, too, by noting that a U.S. Senator hasn’t been assassinated since Robert Kennedy over a half-century ago. In fact, politicians, despite the nasty things that many people say about them, aren’t even in the top twenty-five most dangerous jobs. Hard to believe, I know. Like you, I really thought that lying to people for a living would be much more dangerous to something other than your character and reputation, but I was wrong. The fact of the matter is that liwlife-Harris is less likely than you or me to have to deal with being the victim of a violent crime, yet she thinks that only people like her need protection despite this fact. So, yes, I call that hypocrisy.  http://preparedgunowners.com/2018/09/24/senator-kamala-harris-busted-for-hypocrisy-about-gun-control/

Stalin Would Approve

{spectator.org} ~ Herewith a few terrifying thoughts about the left’s attacks on Brett Kavanaugh... First, we have entered a genuinely Stalinist world in which all it takes is an accusation from the favored clique, in this case, “progressive” women, to wreck an honest man’s career. There is no trial on facts or law any longer. As others have pointed out, we now have “guilt by accusation.” If you are a member of the elite class and simply make the accusation against a member of the disfavored class, his life is over. He’s ruined. He’s through. There’s no defense because the accusation itself is its own proof. Second, I have seen this happen in my own life with my own eyes. About ten years ago, a close friend was a high official of a major aerospace corporation. She worked under a boss she did not like. One day, that man did something rude — not sexual, not illegal — to a friend of my friend. She determined she was going to “get him.” She wrote an anonymous letter to the head of the company alleging that she — who barely knew the man in the water — had been sexually abused by him. The abuse? He had a private bathroom in his office and he made too much noise while emptying his bladder. Incredibly, the man — who was in his seventies and as harmless as a kitten, to use a phrase my friend used — was fired. Denied his pension. Lost most of his stock. All because of a fictitious allegation about sex harassment. I have seen it in my own life. About 20 years ago, a woman who used to chauffeur our son to his play dates, told me she would say I had an affair with her against her wishes unless I paid her a huge sum. I refused to do it and dared her to come after me for such an out raBgeous lie. She made such scary noises that I eventually paid her a small amount and she went far away. This was a woman who had wanted to be a writer and I had been very helpful to her. More important, she acknowledged to me many times that her allegations against me were totally false...  https://spectator.org/stalin-would-approve/?utm_source=American+Spectator+Emails&utm_campaign=badf7cc50f-EMAIL_CAMPAIGN_2018_09_27_08_36&utm_medium=email&utm_term=0_797a38d487-badf7cc50f-104608113

Hypocritical dummycrats-Dems Want Lower Taxes for Their Wealthy

by Jordan Candler:  Benjamin Franklin wasn’t blustering when he said “nothing can be said to be certain, except death and taxes.” In fact, taxes siphon far more money away from average Americans than just about any other requisite expenditure. That’s probably a surprise for people whose paychecks don’t reflect pretax income. However, the reality is that groceries and attire — the costs of which all of us routinely complain about — are easily dwarfed by the demands of government coffers.

As CNS News reports, “Americans on average spent more on taxes than on food and clothing combined in 2017, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistic’s new data on consumer expenditures, which was released this month. [Americans] spent an average of $9,562 on food and clothing in 2017, according to BLS. But they spent $16,749 on federal, state and local taxes.”
This is especially noteworthy in the context of last year’s Republican tax reform, which succeeded in alleviating some of this tax demand. Of course, nobody actually enjoys paying taxes — even those wealthy dummycrats-Democrats who claim otherwise. Which is why the tax reform’s curbing of state and local tax (SALT) deductions is so contentious. Despite thedummycrats-Democrat Party’s “spread the wealth” rhetoric, rich dummycrats-Democrats in high-tax blue states like California rely on SALT deductions for wealth retainment. Now that the deduction is capped, wealth retainment is harder to come by.
Hypocritically, SALT deductions essentially mean that lower-income taxpayers subsidize wealthier patrons who take advantage of massive state and local tax write-offs. Last year’s $10,000 tax reform cap addressed this unfair discrepancy. But rest assured:dummycrats-Democrats will attempt to torpedo the cap if they manage to retake Congress, which even a well-known leftist institution suggests is tawdry.
According to The Hill, “The Tax Policy Center, whose director is a former scumbag/liar-nObama administration official, found that if the deduction cap is repealed retroactively to the start of this year, 56.5 percent of the tax cut would go to households in the top 1 percent of income in 2018. More than 96 percent of the benefit would go to taxpayers in the top fifth of income — those with income of more than $153,000.”
We shouldn’t fault wealthy dummycrats-Democrats for naturally desiring to retain their wealth. But they certainly can and should be faulted for demanding that lower-income Americans redistribute their own wealth while so fiercely reserving their own.
