Patriots Take On California City
Council Trashing American Culture, Values

{rickwells.us} ~ This past Monday, Novembrer 6th, the Grinadall61 patriot Trump supporters visited the Pomona City Council meeting... inside the belly of the liberal beast, the self-destructing Democrat hellhole of California. Gary Galino said in the opening, “We are here because the local SJW’s are going to be crying tonight about the city not being a sanctuary city. He points out they’re doing that, “Even though California is a sanctuary state. So we’re here to see what’s going on.” The festivities begin with one of the local libtard councilmen, Rubio Gonzalez, speaking in support of abortion. In making himself a marked man and offering a preemptive excuse for the unexcusable, Gonzalez says, “There’s probably going to be speakers on Planned Parenthood so I just want to mention that I see it, morality and religious opinions are not a factor for me when dealing with this issue.”...  https://rickwells.us/patriots-california-american-culture/

No, The Star Spangled Banner Isn't About "Slavery"

{frontpagemag.com} ~ As the protests by NFL players during the anthem continue, some of their supporters have taken to claiming that parts of the Star-Spangled Banner are actually a reference to slavery... Advocates of this view point to some of the following lines as supposedly being a reference to black people, "No refuge could save the hireling and slave/From the terror of flight or the gloom of the grave" and the following to white people, "O thus be it ever when freemen shall stand." This meme plays on growing public ignorance of certain elementary aspects of American history. The people most likely to believe this have generally never heard these verses. And so they are primed to believe that they haven't heard of them because they needed to be hidden...Those people are idiots.   http://www.frontpagemag.com/point/268370/fact-check-no-star-spangled-banner-isnt-about-daniel-greenfield

Iran's New Missile Cap Offer Is a Total Sham

by Richard Goldberg and Behnam Ben Taleblu
{nationalinterest.org} ~ Last week, the head of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps declared... that the country’s Supreme Leader had mandated "cap" on the range of Iran’s surface-to-surface ballistic missile force of 2,000 kilometers. According to U.S. Director of National Intelligence (DNI) Dan Coats, the regime can already “strike targets up to 2,000 kilometers from Iran’s borders,” a range sufficient to hit both U.S. military bases in the region as well as the entire state of Israel. In other words, the alleged cap on Iran’s ballistic missiles locks-in the threat, rather than rolling it back, while doing nothing to curtail the wide range of activities Iran is undertaking to improve its missile force. This includes a concerted but concealed effort to develop an intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) capability...  http://nationalinterest.org/feature/irans-new-missile-cap-offer-sham-23108

{freebeacon.com} ~ China has disclosed the first images of secret hypersonic strike aircraft that are being developed to deliver nuclear warheads through U.S. missile defenses... State-run CCTV on Oct. 8 broadcast images of four different vehicles or missiles that U.S. intelligence agencies believe are mockups of hypersonic strike vehicles, including one known as DF-ZF. It is the first time images of the hypersonic aircraft were made public. The Free Beacon first reported China's initial flight test of the hypersonic glider in January 2014. Since then, six other flight tests have been carried out in what U.S. intelligence officials believe is a high-priority weapons program for the Chinese... http://freebeacon.com/national-security/china-reveals-images-new-hypersonic-strike-aircraft/?utm_source=Freedom+Mail&utm_campaign=557eeb59f9-EMAIL_CAMPAIGN_2017_11_09&utm_medium=email&utm_term=0_b5e6e0e9ea-557eeb59f9-45611665

REFILLING THE SWAMP
by Burt Prelutsky

I was neither surprised nor disappointed that Robert Mueller’s investigation netted Paul Manafort and a couple of smaller fish. I’ll hold off judgment until I see where the investigation goes from here.

If we see the likes of liar-Hillary Clinton, the Podesta brothers, James Comey, Loretta Lynch and Samantha Powers, indicted, it will prove this hasn’t been a partisan witch hunt.

The one thing that I’ve come away with so far is that for a man whose strong suit was supposed to be his managerial skills, appointing the likes of Paul Manafort and Mike Flynn to high positions in his campaign and his administration suggests that Trump isn’t always playing at the top of his game.

And whereas Trump may have been fooled by Flynn’s military past, there’s no such excuse for making Manafort his campaign manager for three months. After all, when Trump vowed to drain the swamp of lobbyists, how could he have been unaware that Manafort was one of the biggest of the slimy creatures?

It would be like saying you were going to clear the Democrats out of Congress, except for Mad-Maxine Waters, Frederica Wilson and the other members of the Congressional Black Caucus.

Manafort was not only a big-time Washington lobbyist, but his unsavory list of clients included the tyrannical leaders of Ukraine, Congo, Angola and the Philippines.

Heck, I was onto the big phony as soon as I saw him, knowing that no 68-year-old man has hair that black. Manafort must paint his head with shoe polish to achieve that sheen.

● For reasons the National Park Service hasn’t gotten around to divulging, the Service pledged $98,000 to the University of California for a project honoring the Black Panthers. Fortunately, President Trump stopped tweeting long enough to veto the gift. The rest of us are still waiting for an explanation.

● As you may have heard, Kevin Spacey finally came out of the closet and admitted he was a homosexual. Of course, he only did it because another actor accused Spacey of having committed sexual assault on him many years ago, when the victim was 14 and Spacey was 26.

I suppose Spacey figured that by coming clean about his sexual preference, he figured it would work as a plea bargain, leading people to say: “Well, we shouldn’t be too hard on old Kevin. After all, he did admit to being a Nancy boy.”

The truth is that it was no more a secret that Spacey was a homosexual than that Harvey Weinstein was a sexual predator. For one thing, Spacey is 58 years old and has never been married; for another, his date to the Oscars was always his mother. In the old days, his agent, his manager or his studio, would have arranged a marriage somewhere along the way, as they did with Rock Hudson, Raymond Burr and Anthony Perkins. But those days are long past. Today, an openly gay actor would have a better shot at fame and fortune than his straight brother.

I always assumed that Spacey was that way, even before a friend told me that he had been taking a steam bath at a hotel one day, no doubt sweating out the booze in his system, when Spacey walked by and lifted his towel to expose himself.

● I’m not surprised that the players on the Houston Texans were upset when team owner Bob McNair did a switch on the usual “inmates running the asylum,” and, referring to the kneelers who are killing the golden goose known as the NFL, said at an owner’s meeting: “We can’t have the inmates running the prison.”

Apparently, that struck too close to home for the large number of felons who have found that playing football beats a life of crime.

But the truth is if all those who have ever been arrested were benched, most teams would have to draft their water boys to fill out the squad.

● There are a great many dangers in the world. They include such nations as China, Iran, Russia and North Korea, and such individuals as lone wolf jihadists and Stephen Paddock. But it occurs to me that one of the most dangerous groups is rarely mentioned. I refer to the crimes committed by 70% of my fellow Jews in a voting booth.

● I was sent a cartoon showing a man and his wife standing in an open doorway.  We see a couple of tots dressed as Batman and Snow White walking away with their bags of Halloween treats. But standing on the front step is a 4-year-old wearing a pantsuit. The man is saying: “The girl dressed as liar-Hillary is refusing to go away.”  His wife replies: “Nice touch.”

● I continue to receive those nostalgia items asking me if I remember things like skate keys, plastic lips and Blackjack chewing gum. I remember, but I also remember and miss the days when doctors showed up at your home when you were ailing and didn’t demand that you sit in their waiting room for an hour with a bunch of other people who were coughing and sneezing.

I also miss the days when the guy at the gas station checked your car’s oil and water, filled your tires and washed your windshield.

I also recently became aware of the fact that half the jokes people tell no longer relate to psychiatrists and their neurotic patients. In fact, I suspect the last time I heard such a joke would have been in a Woody Allen movie. In fact, I used to think that if Sigmund Freud hadn’t invented psychoanalysis, Woody Allen would have had to.

● Because I receive so many questions from my readers, I have decided to inaugurate a question and answer feature. You get to ask me about anything that’s on your mind and I promise to provide an answer, even if I have to make something up. Just keep in mind that you have to address it to me at BurtPrelutsky@aol.com.
