FREE TRADE-NAFTA MADE MILLIONS OF AMERICANS AND MEXICANS ECONOMIC SLAVES.
George H.W. Bush and the former President Bill Clinton deceived the American people and destroyed millions of Americans jobs and the U.S. manufacturing infrastructure. NAFTA was going to “promote more growth, more equality and better preservation of the environment and a greater possibility of world peace.” Mexico’s president Carlos Salinas de Gortari, echoed Clinton’s NAFTA propaganda during a commencement address at MIT: Salinas de Gortari said, “NAFTA is a job-creating agreement," . "It is an environment improvement agreement.” More importantly, Salinas boasted, “it is a wage-increasing agreement.”
After more than 22 years, we have nothing but concrete evidence and indisputable fact that NAFTA failed to promote any inclusive economic growth in Mexico or the United States; nor spur meaningful economic growth in Mexico or pull Mexicans out of unemployment and underemployment, or reduce poverty. By all accounts, it has done just the opposite. The Mexican worker today, is the worker that gets the less pay for their labor in every sector of employment in Latin America. Every country in Latin America pays more to their workers. The Mexicans and the American workers were made economic slaves by NAFTA the free trade agreement that make the rich of both countries richer at the expenses of the working people. The minimum salary for Mexicans is 73.00 pesos ($4.12- Dollars) per day, according to El Daily Post. The government also sets a monthly minimum income for well-being, including essential purchases like food, transportation, and hygiene, that stands at 1,752.00 pesos ($98.98 -Dollars) in urban areas.
Free trade is a big scam intended to exploit foreign cheap labor and get around of paying good wages to Americans and meet environmental protection and other common goods in our country; free trade give the American corporations carte blanche to use cheap and exploit foreign labor and demise the environment by demanding low regulation to drive down their costs and get richer at the expenses of the Mexican and American workers. http://www.wageindicator.org/main/salary/minimum-wage/mexico
The Obama’s TPP is worse than NAFTA it will destroy our sovereignty and will continue the demise of millions of Americans jobs and the exploitation of foreign workers; this free trade agreement will weakening democracy and the trust of the American people in the government. Every time you hear from the promoters of free trade that regulations make "us" "less competitive" etc. is a lie and a deception to force on us low slave wages to maximize their profits. Our country has become a Plutocracy run by "thugocracy." Our Constitutional Republic is being demise from within by these criminals, it is up to us to destroy these traitors and take our country back.
