It is the duty of every American citizen to protect, and demand adherence to The United States Constitution. When an individual tells me that the Constitution means what the Supreme Court says it means I want to scream at them. The Constitution is clear in meaning. The men who wrote it did so in a manner that any citizen could read it and understand exactly its meaning. The only time it means anything else is when elected officials or courts call upon the politically appointed Supreme Court to alter its meaning to fit what the ruling class desires. As far as the writer is concerned their "opinion" is as worthless as a sheet of toilet paper. I can read and comprehend each and every word of the Constitu...tion just as well as any judge or politician, just as any citizen can. Just what credence is afforded the Constitution when a man in a black robe, appointed by someone in a political office with an agenda defines its intent. It is insane that we have a document representing our highest law intended to protect us from our government being administered by that very same government. It is time Supreme Court Justices were chosen by the states or the court is abolished and replaced by "common sense understanding". Many articles and books have been written spelling out just exactly what every part of the Constitution means and it does not, I repeat "does not" require nine old men and women appointed for life to get the job done. What kind of decisions do we get when these "lifetime appointees" become so demented by age they can't understand where they are. My greatest point here is that we have a duty to resist and refuse any decision by any entity or authority that differs to what THE PEOPLE understand the Constitution to mean. It is our Constitution, not the governments and we had better get it out of the hands of the tyrannical hands that seek to mold it into something evil. Elevengun

The Constitution is the Law of the Land. And Politicians no matter what their position may be have no damn right to destroy it! I'm with you on this, anyone tells me otherwise is the damn fool! There should be an Age limit on All Politicians, way too many are Senile!
