Texas voters, please, don't be fooled, again, by the Republican/Democrat duopoly. Just as the Democrat Party is unredeemably corrupt, there will be no major reform of the Republican Party, either - ever -- because the fix has been in for a good while, now. Besides, to be quite frank, the so-called "two-party system" is a carefully maintained scam. It, only, serves to continue the status quo, which is, obviously, a downward spiral.
Do you want a real Texan and American choice in the general elections in November? If so, don't take the slippery, seductive bait of the Republican operatives, who tell you to vote (for whomever) in the upcoming primary elections. Most of these operatives know very well that in Texas, if you vote in a primary election, the law prohibits you from, then, signing a ballot access petition for a new party or an independent candidate trying to get on the ballot. By voting in the primaries, well-meaning citizens, in reality, limit their own choices. The elitist leaders of both the Republicans and Democrats -- who passed and maintain Texas' draconian ballot access laws in order to protect their incumbency from the voters -- will, always, decide, beforehand, who the 'acceptable' candidates are, that is, the ones they will permit to win within their own parties.
it is much easier for good candidates to break through in the general election -- if they can, just, get their names on the ballot by means of the ballot access process. So be wise. Rather that waste your vote in a primary election, sign a new party's ballot access petition. I suggest the Constitution Party. Check us out at

By the way, for decades the Republicans have been living on such fraudulent scare tactics as the claim that goes, "a third party can, never, win." Think about it, folks. The nature of this trick is that it is intended to create doubt in the minds of enough people in order to deter change in their voting behavior, so as to become a self-fulfilling prophesy. Besides, the Republicans, themselves, began as a fourth party, after the Democrats, Whigs, and Free Soil Party. The Republicans employ many other ruses and scams, as well. Please, don't listen to or be taken in by any of their tricks, again.
