My name is Molly, I am new here. Last night as I was watching Glenn Beck he talked about the Declaration of Independence. I don't know if anyone else has had this idea, but I felt the Holy Spirit move and heard God tell me that if the government takes the Declaration of Independence out of our school systems and out of the government system, then we should nominate a few good men or women to write something like the Declaration of Independence. We could send it to Congress and see if it would pass. This might just be the first step in turning the country around. Please give me your take on this.

Hey Doreen, I didn't know Congress had already done rewritten the Declaration of Independence. Don't we though as a country deserve the right to get back to what our country was when just the few men wrote the Declaration of Independence and we can state freely what we want and need especially Christians which I feel are losing our free speech whereas every other religion is gaining free speech. I just want to stand up for what I believe in which is being free to say what I want to about being a Christian and standing up for Israel without being worried about getting hurt. I wouldn't put that in the Declaration of Independence though. I do think we could give it a different name though. Thanks for your input. :)
Molly, I don't think we need to rewrite the Declaration of Independence. Our Congress has already done that and we didn't know a thing about it. They have amended the Constitution so they can work around it. That's why Obama can circumvent our Congress now.
What we need to do is join a group that I belong to: GOooh, Get Out of Our House - Congress The reason I suggest this is, GOooh has a process that can be used to find Honest, Constitution, Bill of Rights and America loving citizens who want to be considered as a candidate for Congress. This is a way to find people who will support and vote to correct the problems that are set forth in our questionare. There are discussion among them and other members and from those discussions you vote for the person you would have represent you. It's a multy tiered election process. No Career Politicians are allowed to participate in GOooh, if your a past elected official you must declare that upon joining. We have built in safeguards to keep people in their answers and you cannot vote for yourself.
If you want to clean up Congress you have to elect people who are no career minded politicians and hold their feet to the fire on what they have said they will do. You have to know what their agenda is when voting for them.
The GOooh candidate will be put on the ballot GOooh will help raise funds and help them through all the election process as the common person knows nothing about this.
If you like the idea of having the person you want to run for office instead of being told who you should vote for then this is the answer.
Oh, did I say, we aren't affiliated to any parties, it's doesn't matter what party you belong to and we aren't a party of any kind. We just have another way for Americans to find a elect honest people to office, either in Federal Gov., local, Country, or State. This process can be used any where you need it to clean up and keep honest people in office.
