Obama’s family is spending the night 4 blocks from house here in Aspen. I am an 8th generation Texan: My great great grandfather founded Baylor University with the Republic of Texas. As one of the leaders of the Tea Party in Aspen,I am currently banned for speaking out from the Aspen Art Museum’s City of Aspen property and National Forest leased by the billionaire Crown family from Chicago.

Can u say carpetbaggers?

What the occupy & the tea party movements have in common is the message of: “Enough!” or “Dear oversized federal govt [=1%], Be fair. Treat us with dignity.”

I’d like to walk the 4 blocks over to my neighbor billionaire Paula Crown’s house [owner Aspen Ski Co/JP Morgan Chase.....] with a big fat Texas white trash sign on my pickup & park it in front of her gate like they do in real democracies down in South America that says:

Dear Michelle Obama,

Hope u r having fun skiing @ my neighbor’s “rustic” Petit Trianon. Are u talking art? [ROFL: Paula is on the Presidential Arts Committee & banned from Aspen Skico property [including leased public land]: a song, a singer, a local newspaper and a whistleblower.] Or are they chatting weapons? [not so ROFL: The Crowns' big $ is General Dynamics, a merchant of death that sells to both sides.] What’s the name of that song Skico banned?

I’m gonna B frank. We’ve figured u elites out. Game’s up.

If you take a walk in our beautiful town, I’d suggest u take a left on Tiehack and go 3 blocks 2 my house & see the sculpture we made during out meeting [all 27 of us in occupy aspen—lots of tea partyers now]. The art has lots of references to the Revolution, both American &…. French. We even made a guillotine and hung a Barbie from the 3rd floor window. Your host, our local Marie Antoinette, is featured holding your husband by puppet strings. Paula tried to get the last sculpture of her commissioned by the City removed—it was public art in a public place—really LOL —the City sent me a letter pleading with me to remove it. I said no. It gets funnier. The City copied two VP’s & a CEO from Skico on it.

Can u say company town?

However, your husband signed a law that allows him to send Americans 2 Guantanamo without trial without warrant without limits on time….& I prefer my community here in Aspen to Cuba so I resort to the power of the net. Besides, the hardware store gossip was that the X-tra visitors in town looked like Chicago thugs, not the Crown Royals —the Secret Service.

My European friends remark: u Americans are free…to do what they tell you.

Ironically, the Aspen Art Museum summed it up nicely in a recent exhibition on Crown owned property: AMERIKA

It’s time 4 us little people 2 unite: occupy the tea party.

  • It's Emporer's --sorry, President's Day in 2013 and guess who is back?   Queen Michelle and Joe Biden.  From today's Aspen Daily News:   Dear Santa

by Johnny Boyd, Aspen Daily News Columnist

Dear Mrs. Obama and Vice President Biden,

I would like to welcome you to the valley knowing that you could’ve chosen many other vacation destinations for your winter break. There is likely no place you could choose that wouldn’t draw criticism. The bluest county in a blue swing state is your best bet and you’ve found it. Welcome to Pitkin County.

I am penning this open letter because having you guys in town is like having Santa come to your house. I know that Santa, like constitutional protections, doesn’t exist. However, if I could corner him in my living room for a few minutes during his visit maybe I could get some real presents and he could have a Colorado cookie. Taking a cue from the Pitkin County commissioners, I would like to present my own wish list.

While you’re visiting, please take the time to read the full-page ad from Pitkin County concerning oil and gas drilling in the Thompson Divide area. We use gas and oil, but we don’t want to see it produced in our pristine mountains. Our environment is far more important than the cost of oil. If price were an object we concerned ourselves with, we obviously wouldn’t be living in this high-rent district.

Our local congressman even thinks this is a good time to dip a toe in the water of bipartisanship by writing a letter while you are in town. This is actually the first time he’s noticed Aspen is up here since he was fundraising last election. Given his tea party credentials he is likely hoping Barack won’t take him up on “working together.” It’s the kiss of death to embrace the president or compromise with him on policies.

I have a favor to ask. Could you support the city of Aspen when it lectures against businesses leaving their doors open in the winter? We wouldn’t need to frack as much if we’d stop heating the outdoors. If history is any indication, a couple of words from President Obama telling people to close their windows and doors surely won’t be wrongly received. By the way, heated driveways are fine, because those people can afford it.

People by now have to be accustomed to the course that the Obama administration has set our country upon. The tea party has had time to measure the administration’s policies and it now represents the belief system of the largest cadre of obtuse citizens in America. I keep hoping the tea party will realize that most of Obama’s policies are the exact same as when George W. Bush was in office, except harsher. However, they continue on their puerile vendetta against sensible policies like paying for drone strikes on bad guys.

Have you checked out the amazon.com reviews of the toy predator drones? Americans are funny, especially when they twist the knife. If I didn’t know better, I’d think America’s drone policies were unpopular. There are over 200 reviews of these “death from above” replicas and most are able to express the irony of living in a country that has lost its moral compass. This is political satire at its best. Kind of like when Barack says, “May God bless America” when we all know that God has nothing good to say about any of this.

If I order a predator drone toy for a little kid, can I get Barack to sign it? No better collector’s item could be found than a scale replica of the actual weaponry used to bomb other countries’ children to smithereens with the signature of the emperor who has the omnipotent, infallible power to use it at will.

As you might’ve heard, we legalized marijuana in Colorado. That was the cookie I was referring to before. I’m hoping state’s rights will remain sovereign here and the federal government will keep its nose out of our business. Colorado leads the way in progressive thinking. The Mexican cartels will lose $1.4 billion in sales thanks to Colorado and Washington’s stance on prohibition. Hopefully, it will save a few innocent lives.

You can’t imagine how pleased I was to see that Mr. Obama would like to raise the minimum wage to $9 per hour. He’d be happy to know that Aspen’s largest employer, the Aspen Skiing Co., already pays $9 an hour. Some employees even get $10 an hour. If Barack feels that $9 per hour will play in Peoria, it makes Aspenites wonder what should be the suggested minimum wage here. We’d ask you, but we know who is putting you up while you stay here so you probably shouldn’t talk.

I truly wish I could spend an hour or so laying out the issues that I deem important to our country, but it would make no difference. Writing Santa Claus has more chance. However, thanks for providing a symbolic avenue for me to think I’ve been heard.

    Enjoy Aspen!

-------------------------I'm a loud mouthed Texan artist; I went to a Tea Party meeting at the Aspen Institute last year run by some politician only in it for 1 thing: himself. Typical.

I believe in liberty as a guiding principle. When I told my fellow Texan Dick Armey that there were many of us tea partyers involved in occupy aspen, he ridiculed me. Not so fast—-We’re all little people fighting the elites. In Colorado, a third party could be formed to UNITE the tea party, the libertarians/occupiers and the Mexicans but that’s just my dreaming???

Today, my friend Juan showed me his new Audi at church. Juan works 70+ hours a week. which to me is more American than Michelle Obama wearing $540 sneakers to a Food Bank. Here’s what’s happening this weekend in Aspen as the President golfs in Florida while his wife skis in Aspen… all at a time with millions of unemployed:

Queen Michelle “Let them eat cake” Obama and VP Joe “Big Jim” Biden are skiing in Aspen this weekend while millions suffer under their Rule. Is it #tyranny yet? One letter to the Aspen Times suggested the situation here in the “Glitter Gulch” is Rome in the 4th quarter. Aspen is Versailles—-it’s Crony Capitalism on steroids. Aspen’s former mayor was at breakfast today at the Hickory House, she said she was not invited to the big fiesta last night for Michelle. We're a town of 6700--news travels fast. Me neither.

Last year, the FLOTUS and her family crashed at the winter palace of my billionaire neighbors—-> the powerful Crown family, the owners of the company that owns the company town, Aspen Skiing. [Where the fiesta was last night]. Not only do the Crowns think their doodoo is Chanel #5, they're also petty tyrants. Google Ski instructor James Cohen Aspen or better, Lester Crown bribery Chicago Tribune.

Michelle’s host last night is most famous for being on the President’s arts council, as well as for firing singer Dan Sheridan, banning his song “Big $” from ski areas in national forest under lease, and censoring our local paper, the Aspen Daily News [all covered online.]

Last night, it was black SUV city at the Crowns at what locally is referred to as the “Petit Trianon, their palatial residence. There ain’t nothin’ “petite” about it.

The gossip at the hardware store is where did all the fleet of black SUV’s arrive from? Straight from the horse’s mouth, the SS [Secret Service]: 25 SUV’s had to be driven up from Peterson Air Force Base near Denver [only 8 are stored in Denver]. The SS is real friendly with locals, and I ain't talkin' Cartagena friendly.

Wait, it get’s better: the SS says only 3 "special" SUV’s can be loaded per cargo plane. SAT question: how many cargo planes for the VP and Royal Family?

In addition, how come the Pitkin County airport opened the airport [closed normally until 7am] at 5am on Friday? Thanks. What was the REAL total cost to taxpayers? Sometimes I’m lucky enough to get upgraded on United Airlines, trust me, it’s REAL nice. The Queen of Denmark flys commercial but VP Joe and Michelle need to take separate government airplanes?

The govt. says Ms. Obama’s trip cost $83K. Really? Don’t call us little people stupid. LOL. These Do AS I SAY liberals keep us chuckling 24/7 in A-town…..

  • Warning:  rant to follow, but it's funny.  My struggle with the limousine liberals from Chicago involves a battle that artists encounter even in Europe:  the privatization of public space.  It's one of the central question for our times.   Not to mention---has government gotten too big?  Are our Constitutionall Rights as Americans being stripped by Obama?   Should we borrow money from our future to support empire?  Whether the Prez is Repub or "Democrat,"  it's the same result:  endless war and no regulation of Wall Street.  Is Obama another fraudulent politician?  Are his friends, our local war profiteers/art philanthropist/limousine liberals really DO AS I SAY crony capitalists, and worse,  fascists?   These are questions that the Right and the Left are beginning to merge on:  petty tyranny and power to the people.   It's why the tea party isn't going away, even if Obama loses.   And he deserves too.  See below or google NDAA or HR347.      As for me, the Royal Crowns can't ban people from the community, despite their best efforts.   Google lee mulcahy trespassing.  LOL:  the DA told me he's going for 6 months jail time.  Justice, like our government, should not be for auction.  The owners of the company that owns the company town will lose either way.-lee mulcahy phd
