Chaos In Cleveland

I remember having posted a thread on a now defunct tp site covering the 2012 RNC Convention in Tampa.  It was lively. Most of the site's members were [more] on the same page (the States' sovereignty and the USC) than we are today.  It's no mystery why so many so called "tp" or "conservative" sites have either become ghost towns, or have shutdown all together.  Consttutional principles are out the window. The present only merits a mere comment on a forum board.

My summation of the RNC's first night at Cleveland is that the DC machine is still up to its old tricks. In 2012 it shutdown the voices / delegates that OPPOSE their stronghold on future election rules.  The most notable...and perhaps a lethal...difference there was that it was totally DISorganized.  And, except for a few speakers, like Rudy Giuliani and Navy SEAL (ret) Marcus Lutrell, and including the announcement of the ACQUITTAL of the last Baltimore police officer that had been brought up on charges, for instance, the first night was lackluster and  insubstantial at best.

To add salt to injury, I'll give Fox News and the RNC Convention the following "blackeyes":

1.  To The Oreilly Factor - for having interrupted the broadcast when the mother of a Benghazi victim took the stage and gave a heart wrenching speech - to take a live call by Trump.. It should've went uninterrupted.

2.  The obviously plagiarized portions of the speech given by Mellania Trump. It is now the lead story at ALL the media outlets; and has completely overshadowed the little "good" there was during the Convention's first night; which I shall include the annnoucement of . ..

3.  Then there's FNC's drama queen, Shepard Smith who was on the phone w/ fmr LA governor Bobby Jimdal responding to the murders of yet THREE MORE police officers in Baton Rouge.

(excerpt)

Jindal said:

“…Shepard I will say this, look, it, it is time for folks across party lines, across ideological lines to con–to condemn this violence, to condemn this insanity. We gotta come together. We’ve got to say that all lives matter. It doesn’t matter what color you are: Black, white, brown, red, it doesn’t matter. All lives matter. We’ve got to protect and value our belief…”

Smith cuts in:  “Governor, you know, you know that that phrase you just used is is one that’s seen by many as, as derogatory, right? I, I just wonder why it is that you use that phrase when there’s a certain segment of the population that believes it’s a real dig on ’em.”

Why does Fox News continue to follow the GOP machine's constant bending over to the far left's political correctness game?   It's this PC that had lost the last two prez elections; had triggered the nation to literally kill each other; that our economy is at the verge of collapse; and the total destruction of our Constitution...our very individual Liberty...is at hand.
We're not simply "losing" America.  We're giving it away!

  • "On July 28, 2006, I was very proud to become citizen of the United States. The greatest privilege on the planet Earth!. I can not, or will not, take the freedoms this country has to offer for granted."  - Mellania Trump,  2016 RNC Convention

    She sounded sincere to me.

"Let me tell you something.  For the first time in my adult lifetime I am proud of my country" - Michelle Obama, Feb 2008

    She did not.
