TERRORISM arrests in Britain linked to the civil war in Syria have soared by more than 600 per cent last year.
A total of 165 suspects were detained in 2014 for offences including preparing acts of terror, attending training camps and terrorist financing.
This compares to 25 Syria related arrests for the whole of 2013.
Of the 165 suspects, 64 have so far been charged.
The total number of arrests for terrorist offences totalled 327 in 2014 – a 32 percent increase compared to the previous year.
Helen Ball, senior national co-ordinator for counter terrorism policing, said: “Last year’s arrest figures demonstrate a considerable increase in volume, range and pace of counter-terrorism activity in the UK.
As we posted yesterday, diversity and multiculturalism due primarily to Muslim immigration is a complete and utter disaster for Britain, where Muslim child sex grooming is also up 32%.
