An Angelico (Tennessee) Christian’s Traditional Shelter (ACTS) Proposal WE ARE RESPONSIBLE for ourselves and especially for the children when the big disasters finally strike. Although the government built DUMBs for the Elite (using taxpayers money), they only built FEMA Camps for the public (more like prison barracks/extermination camps or Soylent Green factories that will be suicidal fallout shelters). Everybody needs a good shelter and enough food stored to last at least 6 months because Society will break down. I will donate all the land needed for the whole shelter of ACTS and pay my share of costs. The site is 4.59 acres (200,000 sq ft) paid off and on soil (not rock) at 1700 ft ASL on Ashburn Mountain overlooking Angelico Pass (ref Google: Tennessee Property Data Home Page, click on Polk County, enter the name siddell). I would have already built it if I had enough money (I’m investments pretty but cash ugly; that will improve but who on earth knows when assets will rise or when the first big disaster will happen). Besides, there is safety & efficiency in numbers (Prov 11:14). The shelter would have a (hopefully) large commons area 10 ft underground (FYI: every four inches of earth blocks 50% more of the surface radiation so at 10 ft, R=.0000000009s). The common area (commons) would be the expensive part shared by everyone: the architect’s plans, county permits; a well, tank, generator and fuel; a septic system, men and women’s separate restrooms & showers, a kitchen & dining/meeting room and a laundry. You are invited to build a private shelter up to about 250 sq ft per adult (persons over 19) connected to the commons and you would own that structure, the land it’s on and your shared portion of the commons all for your own use, to share, lease or sell. If the commons area's total cost was $50,000 and 10 adults participated, their share would be $5,000 each. If an eleventh person joined, their commons cost would become $50,000/11=$4,545 and $454.50 would be refunded to each of the original 10 individuals. Since ACTS is a Christian organization that probably would not obey any unChristian laws, all individuals must be Christians to avoid any anti-Christian inspired lawsuits. It is not a Commune; individuals are responsible for stocking their own food. There would have to be rules but they would be by a democratic vote of the shelter owners. A 250 sq ft private shelter could cost from $5,000 to $25,000 more. If someone doesn’t have the money to build a private shelter, they would have to store food & sleep on a space available basis in the commons. If you can’t afford to join yet but have an interest, please so advise. It would be desirable to have: 1) the kitchen usable to can and dry harvested food 2) a library of “how to” books and home schooling supplies 3) a 500 gal fresh water tank 4) strong exterior defenses 5) a work shop 6) basic infant and elder care 7) some rabbits and chickens 8) seeds & supplies to start plants well before leaving. MFR: I personally agree with the many Christian Prophets that are saying that the America government has rejected God and this nation has lost the Blessings of God; and we will soon experience the Judgements of God (ref Dr. Patricia Green, Efrain Rodriquez, D. Duduman, David Wilkerson etc). God will protect His people but we should not be idle. In the Noah Story, God told Noah that a flood is coming but He didn’t give Noah an Ark. Real Economist & Scientist know that certain disasters will occur although they don’t know when (or perhaps any of God’s prophecies): drought, famine, pestilence, plague and war; an economic crash, civil wars, Martial Law, nuclear war, a mini or full Ice Age, a big meteor impact, a tsunami that floods all the way to the Appalachian Mountains and from the Gulf nearly to Chicago. At least three “9” earthquakes will destroy the West Coast. Several Super Volcanoes around the world could blow up and cause a mini-Ice Age, especially Yellowstone which could bury most of the West. The New Madrid fault will expand from the Gulf to the Atlantic. We all must be prepared spiritually and physically before a disaster. Many of the Lost will seek God in disasters and turn to us for guidance and help (and we need to be able to help; maybe Jesus will multiply the food again).
