Witness: Trump Tower Meeting Was ‘Boring’ Policy Presentation
by Aaron Klein
{ breitbart.com } ~ A Russian businessman who was present at the infamous, brief meeting at Trump Tower on June 9, 2016 has provided the most extensive publicly documented description... yet about what allegedly transpired inside the room in which Russian nationals met with Donald Trump Jr. and other campaign officials. Irakly “Ike” Kaveladze is senior vice president at Crocus Group, the real estate development firm run by Russian oligarch Aras Agalarov, whose associate and son were both reportedly involved in setting up the Trump Tower meeting. In testimony before the Senate Judiciary Committee that was recently made public, Kaveladze related that no one at the meeting presented themselves there as representing the Russian government, no one discussed hacked emails and no conversation took place that could possibly be characterized as “collusion” between Russia and the Trump campaign. In the testimony, reviewed in full by Breitbart News, Kaveladze asserted that the meeting was an informational presentation that focused largely the Magnitsky Act, which sanctions Russian officials accused of involvement in the death of a Russian tax accountant. In his testimony, he further related how he called the meeting “boring” when describing it afterwards...

Julian Assange Asked To Testify In Front Of Senate
by Aaron Kesel
{ activistpost.com } ~ The founder of WikiLeaks, Julian Assange, has been asked to testify before the U.S. Senate Intelligence Committee as part of their Russia investigation... according to a letter signed by Senators Richard Burr (R-NC) and Mark Warner (D-VA) posted by the WikiLeaks Twitter account. The letter was delivered to Assange at the Ecuadorian embassy in London. “As part of the inquiry, the Committee requests that you make yourself available for a closed interview with bipartisan Committee staff at a mutually agreeable time and location,” the letter reads. WikiLeaks says their legal team is “considering the offer but testimony must conform to a high ethical standard,” after which the whistleblower organization added a tweet linking to a list of 10 dummycrats-Democratic senators who demanded in late June that Assange’s asylum be revoked in violation of international law...

Appalachian Justice: Here’s How WV
Handles an Out-of-Control Supreme Court
by BEN MARQUIS
{ westernjournal.com } ~ The issue of corruption among elected officials is one that enrages many American citizens as far too often... it seems that the “powers that be” are willing to let suspected corrupt officials slide or slink away quietly without ever being held accountable to the people. However, in at least one instance it appears that won’t be the case. The four sitting justices on West Virginia’s state Supreme Court are collectively facing 14 counts of impeachment for alleged corrupt activities, according to the Charleston Gazette-Mail. The 14 articles of impeachment against the justices were approved on Tuesday by the West Virginia House Judiciary Committee and include such charges as corruption, neglect of duty and “unnecessary and lavish” spending of taxpayer money, among other allegations. The articles of impeachment will soon be submitted to the House for a vote, and if they obtain a majority will then proceed to the Senate. If two-thirds of the senators approve the impeachment articles, a trial will commence that would require another two-thirds majority for conviction, at which point the justices would be removed from the bench and barred from ever seeking public office in the state again. “It’s a sad day, and it certainly isn’t a cause for celebration,” Judiciary Chairman John Shott said Tuesday, according to the Gazette-Mail. The four justices charged under the articles of impeachment, which stem from violations of the impeachable offenses listed in Section 9, Article 4 of the West Virginia Constitution, include Chief Justice Margaret Workman (four counts) and Justices Robin Davis (four counts), Allen Loughry (eight counts) and Beth Walker (two counts)...

Senate releases 5,700 documents
from Kavanaugh's time in Bush White House
by Gabby Morrongiello
{ washingtonexaminer.com } ~ Senate Judiciary Chairman Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, released a trove of documents on Thursday from Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh's tenure... as associate White House counsel to former President George W. Bush. The document dump, which contained nearly 6,000 pages, came a day after ranking dummycrats-Democrats on the Judiciary Committee filed a series of Freedom of Information Act requests to access records from Kavanaugh's time in the Bush White House. Senate Minority Leader Chuck clown-Schumer, D-N.Y., has repeatedly accused Republicans of providing insufficient material involving the Supreme Court nominee ahead of his confirmation hearing this fall. According to Grassley's office, the total number of documents planned for release exceeds 125,000 pages. The Judiciary Committee moved to make the records public after receiving them on a confidential basis from the National Archives and Records Administration last week. Normally, records from Kavanaugh's time in the White House would be protected by the Presidential Records Act, which allows former presidents to keep their White House files secret for up to 12 years after leaving office...   https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/news/white-house/senate-releases...

Illegal Alien Alleged Serial Killer Caught in Miami, Florida
by Michael W. Chapman
{ cnsnews.com } ~ Although the liberal media are ignoring the case, an illegal alien from Honduras was recently arrested in Miami, Fla., and charged with the murder of two women... When apprehended by Miami-Dade police, the suspect, Juan Carlos Hernandez-Caseres, 37, "confessed to both murders," reported the Miami Herald.  Hernandez-Caseres has been charged with two counts of first-degree murder. The victims were Ann Farrin, 41, and Neidy Roche, 39, both of whom were prostitutes, according to the police. Hernandez-Caseres picked up Farrin in his car for sex on June 13 "but sometime during intercourse he became 'enraged' and punched her in the throat and neck," he told the police, as reported in the Herald. In surveillance camera footage at Northwest 38th and Northwest 37th street, Hernandez-Caseres's dark, four-door car is seen pulling to the side of the road, the driver gets out and opens the passenger door, and then the driver pulls a body out and dumps it on the street. That apparently was the body of Ann Farrin...   https://www.cnsnews.com/blog/michael-w-chapman/illegal-alien-serial...

dummycrats-Democratic socialism is an oxymoron
by Dan Popp

A society which is socialist cannot also be democratic, in the sense of guaranteeing individual freedom. – Milton Friedman

{ renewamerica.com } ~ With all the folks recently declaring themselves "dummycrats-democratic socialists," I thought it would be worthwhile to examine why this is another assault on language by the barbarian left.

Some of us live in reality, and try to understand our experiences through the template of reason. More and more are trying to live in a fantasy world. Logic and honest language are enemies of that world. The fundamental building block of logic, as Aristotle laid it down, is that a thing can't be both itself and its opposite in the same way, at the same time.

The phrase " dummycrats-democratic socialism" violates this basic principle of rational thought. Here, courtesy of Dictionary.com, are the definitions of our root terms.

Democracy: government by the people; a form of government in which the supreme power is vested in the people and exercised directly by them or by their elected agents under a free electoral system.

Socialism: a theory or system of social organization that advocates the vesting of the ownership and control of the means of production and distribution, of capital, land, etc., in the community as a whole.

Here are some of the ways that democracy and socialism are inherently contradictory:

Locus of power

Socialism, as defined above, puts control "in the community as a whole." But in a democracy "the supreme power is vested in the people." This may seem like two ways of saying the same thing if you've spent your formative years under socialist indoctrination. In principle, however, they're opposites. The "community" of the socialists means everyone, collectively. But the ultimate rulers of the democracy are individuals, not the group. In practice, since rule by everyone is impossible a fantasy, socialist countries invariably are ruled by a few central planners, who often oppose the group's wishes.

Ownership of property

A democracy is set up to protect the rights of individuals, particularly property rights. Socialism is set up for the express purpose of nullifying property rights. Its motto is "You didn't build that!" The state owns everything, and the state will determine what, if anything, you get.

Yes, a democracy can degenerate into a rights-violating mob more about that later, but that is not its purpose, whereas the purpose of a socialist government is to relieve you of the fruits of your labor by means of violence.

Concept of citizenship

If democracy means "rule of the people," in practice it must be the rule of the citizens. In ancient Athens, it was the adult males of the polis; in early America, it was the landowners. The implementation of democracy, including the republican variety, requires a clear delineation between citizen and non-citizen. "Who may vote?" is a burning question. "Who may exercise this personal political power?" Certainly not foreigners or potential enemies of the society. Only those who have attained a certain age, perhaps who have a personal stake in the well-being of the community.

The fantasy of borderless political zones that make no distinction between citizens and trespassers may be compatible with socialism, but it is inimical to democracy.

Value of free speech

Democracy requires an uninhibited exchange of ideas. Socialism because it is a failed fantasy requires opposing ideas to be squelched. Exhibits 1 through infinity: suppression of conservative speech and speakers on college campuses, currently the temples of socialism.

Other rights protected in democracies are turned upside down where socialism dominates. To give just one more example, my God tells me, "You shall not steal." How safe are my religious rights in a political system based on theft?

"But what about countries with socialist 'safety nets,' run by the will of the people – like America? Can we not correctly call them both democratic and socialist?"

Let me put the question to you: What if I were to say, "Here is a healthy man with cancer?" "Wait a minute," you would say. "Is he healthy or does he have cancer?" You would not call him a healthy-sick fellow. Just as cancer is not compatible with health but drives out health, so the malignancy of state robbery drives wellness from the body politic. Yes, it's undeniable that the U.S. is afflicted by many socialist lesions, and as they continue to grow they must eventually kill the patient. That does not make America a hybrid democratic-socialist state. It makes us a former republic, a sick and wasting society.

One of the problems with schemes of popular rule is that they're susceptible to the contagion of covetousness. Hear wise old Ben Franklin: "When the people find that they can vote themselves money, that will herald the end of the republic." The next stage after socialism isn't communist paradise, as Marx predicted. It is death, as our Founders predicted.

Here in the real world, there are no sunshiny nights, no Christian atheists, and no dummycrats-democratic socialists. Abusers of language are enemies of humanity.

TEA PARTY -> Lois Lerner Case Explodes:
IRS Docs Link McCain’s Office To Tea Party Attacks

Since announcing his brain cancer was terminal, Arizon Sen. John McCain has continued to make headlines, but not due to his medical status. Instead, it has been one controversy after another revolving around him, and now one more had been added to the list.

This one is based in his dislike not for Ted Cruz or Rand Paul, but of the tea party.

McCain has never really endeared himself to conservatives, and he made his feeling public about the tea party movement at a breakfast hosted by the Christian Science Monitor in 2015, according to a Yahoo report.

“I think also — I probably shouldn’t say this — but some of (the tea party) appeals to the bad angels of our nature rather than the better angels of our nature,” McCain said.

This attitude ties into the latest scandal swirling around McCain.

One of a number of scandals that plagued President Barack Obama and his administration involved the IRS targeting tea party groups after 2010. It seemed that their tax-exempt status requests were denied or delayed due to intense political partisanship in the agency.

In May 2013, The Washington Post reported that the IRS’s exempt-organizations division director Lois Lerner “let slip” the week prior “that low-level IRS staffers had focused extra scrutiny on conservative groups with words such as ‘tea party’ or ‘patriot’ in their names.”

In addition, “internal reviews have shown that Lerner knew about the targeting in 2011 — but neither Congress nor the public knew until (2013).” Despite this, Lerner was never prosecuted and was allowed to retire with her taxpayer-funded pension intact.

This did not change, even after House Ways and Means Committee Chairman Kevin Brady, a Texas Republican, and Tax Policy Subcommittee Chairman Peter Roskam, an Illinois Republican, wrote a letter to Attorney General Jeff Sessions. In it, they begged him to reopen a probe into the matter, according to Jay Sekulow, chief council for the American Center for Law and Justice, writing in a commentary for Fox News.

When President Donald Trump was sworn into office, some held out hope that the perceived injustices from Obama’s tenure would somehow be made right. However, in September 2017, Trump’s administration had already preemptively declined to pursue criminal charges against Lerner “based on the available evidence,” according to Fox News.

But more has since been uncovered about the scandal. Government watchdog group Judicial Watch has obtained and released “internal IRS documents, including material revealing that Sen. John McCain’s former staff director and chief counsel on the Senate Homeland Security Permanent Subcommittee, Henry Kerner, urged top IRS officials, including then-director of exempt organizations Lois Lerner, to “audit so many that it becomes financially ruinous.”

Judicial Watch dd0e

JW President @TomFitton: Much of what you know about the IRS scandal is thanks to JW... Our new docs show the scandal is bipartisan in nature. A McCain staffer suggested Lois Lerner audit all of the 501(c)(4) groups in a way that'd be financially ruinous.

Meeting notes from April 30, 2013, involving Kerner, Lerner, “and other high-ranking IRS officials” were obtained by JW. With the meeting taking place only 10 days before the IRS scandal exploded into the public view, they are particularly incriminating against Kerner and Lerner:

“Henry Kerner asked how to get to the abuse of organizations claiming section 501 (c)(4) but designed to be primarily political. Lois Lerner said the system works, but not in real time.”

“Henry Kerner noted that these organizations don’t disclose donors. Lois Lerner said that if they don’t meet the requirements, we can come in and revoke, but it doesn’t happen timely.”

“Nan Marks said if the concern is that organizations engaging in this activity don’t disclose donors, then the system doesn’t work. Henry Kerner said that maybe the solution is to audit so many that it is financially ruinous. Nikole noted that we have budget constraints.”

“Elise Bean suggested using the list of organizations that made independent expenditures. Lois Lerner said that it is her job to oversee it all, not just political campaign activity.”

Thus far, there is no evidence that McCain knew about or directed Kerner to take such action. It is plausible that Kerner, knowing of McCain’s dislike of the tea party, opted to be a proactive and loyal staffer by urging the IRS to take action against the groups.

But McCain’s personality does little to keep him far removed from the scandal and tongues are wagging with speculation as to his involvement. Regardless, McCain’s frosty relationship with President Donald Trump has not made the Arizona senator many fans among Trump supporters.

New suspicions about him betraying the tea party won’t help matters at all.

Chelsea Handler Says Fox Doesn’t Work With
Black People, Obviously Doesn’t Watch Network

Humor is supposed to be based on truth. After all, the reason we laugh at a joke or scenario is because it triggers a feeling of recognition about reality, especially if it’s presented in an unexpected way.

It doesn’t look like “comedian” Chelsea Handler has a very firm grasp on truth or reality, however.

After a production error during a Fox News broadcast was called out by users on Twitter, the raunchy and sex-obsessed Handler tried to bash the network … but ended up showing off her ignorance instead.

“Fox News honored Aretha Franklin by using a graphic that contained a photo of Patti LaBelle,” the comedian and television host posted on Twitter Thursday evening.

That part was true enough: Fox admitted that they made a mistake on a background slide during a tribute to the late soul singer, and accidentally showed a faded photo of LaBelle. The main image still showed Franklin, who passed away on Thursday in Detroit.

Broadcast television is complex, which you would think Handler understands after being involved in TV for many years. Honest mistakes happen on every network. But no: In Handler’s alternate reality, the only explanation for the mistake was racism.

“It’s probably hard for anyone who works at Fox News to tell black people apart because they’ve never worked with any,” she declared.

Chelsea Handler  @chelseahandler

Fox News honored Aretha Franklin by using a graphic that contained a photo of Patti LaBelle. It’s probably hard for anyone who works at Fox News to tell black people apart because they’ve never worked with any.

Was she trying to be bitter or funny? It was hard to tell, but either way, that statement shows just how isolated the Hollywood left is from reality.

If she really believes that Fox has “never worked with any” black people, maybe she should try an experiment: Actually watch the channel for a minute.

She would probably tune in to the face of Harris Faulkner, the enthusiastic and Emmy-winning host of “Outnumbered,” which airs every single weekday.

Or, maybe she could get a clue from Deneen Borelli, another well-known face of Fox News for nearly a decade. How about the venerable Juan Williams, co-host of “The Five” and a “Fox News Sunday” regular for over 20 years?

Nah. They apparently don’t count, because Handler would rather live in an alternate reality of ignorance than admit she was the one making racial assumptions.

We’re not finished! Moving on to frequent guest contributors to Fox News, how about Candace Owens? Brandon Tatum? Ben Carson? Larry Elder? All of these smart individuals are familiar faces at Fox, and all are — look closely! — African American.

That’s saying nothing of the behind-the-scenes staff at Fox, a good number of whom are of course black. In fact, it’s completely possible the photo mix-up was accidentally made by a black employee. Handler openly assumed the race of the staff members who made the error, while knowing nothing.

Once again, the left has tipped their hand and revealed just how elitist and out of touch they are.

Handler has likely never turned on Fox News in her life, yet she thinks she’s an expert on it. She eagerly diminishes and waves away the contributions of black Americans to one of the most popular news stations in the nation, while lecturing others about race.

This type of attitude implies that only “liberal approved” black voices count. If they don’t parrot a 43-year-old white comedian’s politics, they’re invisible to her.

That arrogant view, and not an honest editing mistake, is perhaps the real outrage here … and it’s exactly why so many black voters are walking away from the left.
