ACTIONS SPEAK LOUDER THAN WORDS, MR. PRESIDENT

"Actions speak louder than words." An old tried & true proverb said to me by my Mother over an entire childhood, and passed on by many common sense thinking families. Obama's State of the Union (SOTU) pep rally was so full of hyperbole, I lost count.

ACTIONS SPEAK LOUDER THAN WORDS, MR. PRESIDENT

Obama used his SOTU speech to…

Judge strikes down healthcare reform law

"We'll continue to operate as we have previously and suspect that the states will do the same," said the senior administration official, who asked not to be named.

"Obviously this case will be appealed ... and so implementation would proceed apace ... This is not the last word by any means," the official said.

This person who said that…

My Miracle Message

We are all now acutely aware that our world is tottering.  Any time, we could be witness to a drastic change.  How we handle it is of great public concern. I was at this very point 35 years ago—at a jumping off place—forced to jump into an unknown void.  Welcome to the new age. I know it well.

For the past 10 years, I’ve been writing what is on my mind first thing in the morning.  Strangely, something new is revealed to me every morning. I’ve been blogging my thoughts here. I…

Term Limits

Sunday January 30th 2011

Todd Platts lies to his constituent

The York Sunday News reported that once again Todd Platts PA-19 proposes legislation for Congressional Term Limits. However like every time before, this bill has no chance of passing. Todd Platts has again shown that he is all show. The York Sunday News quoted Mr. Platts as saying that he will probably run for a seventh term in direct reversal of his Campaign Promise that he would self induce term…

The Handwriting on the Wall

I know change from personal experience. At first, the idea of change was terribly frightening. I was forced to change, but the orthodoxy remained fixed, exactly like it is in Egypt right now.

I was confronted with many hurdles. With determination, though, I got on my path of destiny. In the end, all of my dreams came true. And so it will be in our world.

From its study of the microcosmic, quantum physics “sees” in the microcosmic, a world that is not yet real, a dimension…

My Thought on the State of the Union Address

President Obama made his Ronald Reagan Address, with this exception:  instead of self-government, it was his government that is going to do wonders, for a cost of trillions of dollars.  Obama’s innovation is certain to take us back.

I’m occupied at the present writing a book, my personal experience tied to the Constitution and divine humanity, which should be complete within four months. It will give you information on how to deal with the drastic change about to take place.…

What It's All About

What it's all about was a title I place on a photo I submitted on the 13th and one comment was to maybe post a Blog once or twice a month about it so here it goes.

THE STATE OF THE UNION ADDRESS

As I watched the Presidents speech on The State of the Union I thought I heard remarks about fiscal responsibility and reducing the redundancy of BIG GOVERNMENT (ak the Salmon solution ). Shortly after those statements I heard INVESTMENT in this project, or that program. How can we…

Pennsylvania's abortion tragedy brings to light that actions speak louder than words

From the office of Congressional Candidate Eric Maloney

Candidate for U.S. Congress for South Central Pennsylvania, York, Adams and Cumberland Counties.

Today January 25th 2011 we are returning to our daily activity following an event many across the country missed.

FAIR TAX ?

The last few days I have been contacted several times by good intentioned folks who want me to support HR25, the so-called Fair Tax Initiative. Well, I cannot do that.

Before somebody starts to climb on my back, let me preface by saying there is no fair tax when we are talking about personal income. Flat tax, fair…

Horrible: Democrats Set The Constitution On Fire With Fraudulent Impeachment

House Democrats unveiled two articles of impeachment against President Donald Trump on Tuesday morning after an investigation that violated fundamental provisions of the Constitution and the Bill of Rights.

The investigation of the president began with the complaint of a so-called “whistleblower” who turned out to be a rogue Central Intelligence Agency employee, protected by a lawyer who had called for a “coup” against Trump in early 2017.

Democrats first demanded that the “whistleblower” be allowed to testify. But after House Intelligence Committee chair Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) was found to have lied about his committee’s contact with the “whistleblower,” and after details of the “whistleblower’s” bias began to leak, Democrats reversed course. In violation of the President Trump’s Sixth Amendment right to confront his accuser, Democrats refused to allow the “whistleblower” to testify. They argue the president’s procedural rights, even if they existed, would not apply until he was tried in the Senate — but they also invented a fraudulent “right to anonymity” that, they hope, might conceal the whistleblower even then.

Schiff began the “impeachment inquiry” in secret, behind the closed doors of the Sensitive Compartmentalized Information Facility (SCIF) in the basement of the U.S. Capitol, even though none of the testimony was deemed classified. Few members of Congress were allowed access. Schiff allowed selective bits of testimony to leak to friendly media, while withholding transcripts of testimony.

Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), having allowed the secret process to unfold, legitimized it with a party-line vote authorizing the inquiry. The House resolution denied President Trump the procedural rights enjoyed by Presidents Richard Nixon and Bill Clinton, and denied the minority party the traditional right to object to witnesses called by the majority.

Rather than the House Judiciary Committee, which traditionally handles impeachment, Pelosi also deputized the House Intelligence Committee to conduct fact-finding; the Judiciary Committee was turned into a rubber stamp. Schiff held a few public hearings, but often failed to release transcripts containing exculpatory evidence until after they had passed.

In the course of the Intelligence Committee’s investigation, Schiff quietly spied on the telephone records of his Republican counterpart, Ranking Member Devin Nunes (R-CA). He also snooped on the phone records of a journalist, John Solomon; and on the phone records of former New York City mayor Rudy Giuliani, acting as President Trump’s personal lawyer.

Schiff’s eavesdropping violated both the First Amendment right to press freedom and the Sixth Amendment right to counsel. Yet he proceeded undeterred by constitutional rights, publishing the phone logs in his committee’s report without warning, confirmation, or explanation, alleging that Nunes and the others were part of a conspiracy to assist the president’s allegedly impeachable conduct. When Republicans on the Judiciary Committee asked the Intelligence Committee’s majority counsel, Daniel Goldman, to explain the phone logs, he refused to answer,

Ironically, Schiff had done exactly what Democrats accuse Trump of doing: abused his power to dig up dirt on political opponents, then obstructed a congressional investigation into his party’s and his committee’s misconduct.

Democrats’ articles of impeachment include one for the dubious charge of “abuse of power,” which is not mentioned in the Constitution; and one for “obstruction of Congress,” which in this case is an abuse of power in itself.

Alexander Hamilton, writing about impeachment in Federalist 65, warned that “there will always be the greatest danger that the decision will be regulated more by the comparative strength of parties, than by the real demonstrations of innocence or guilt.” Democrats have fulfilled Hamilton’s worst fears.

The Trump impeachment will soon replace the 1868 impeachment of President Andrew Johnson — which the House Judiciary Committee staff actually cited as a positive precedent — as the worst in American history.

In service of their “coup,” Democrats have trampled the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. The Republic has never been in greater danger.

You don't get to interrupt me
