In God We Trust

Welcome to the Prayer Group.  We reserve this group for prayers for our nation and our citizens.  We focus on bringing ourselves and our country back to the foundations that made her America.  In God We Trust is our humble reminder to turn away from evil and back to Our Father God, giving Him all the glory and praise for what marvelous things He has done for us. Amen.

A Peaceful Place of Fellowship and Prayer

In God We Trust is a place to pray for the nation and citizens to repent and turn back to God in humility and reverence. No invitation needed, just come together where we know we can all agree that God has given us life, and life more abundantly.

This fellowship is non-denominational, and welcomes Christians and Jews. Non-believers who are genuinely searching for peace, comfort and fellowship are also welcome.

We will have no debates or verbal sparring here, for no matter our wisdom or knowledge or religious education, we gather as one body to praise the Lord and all that He has done for us.

Pray for Newtown, Connecticut

Let us not try so much to evaluate and understand evil intent, but rather to defeat it through Christ our Lord in fervent prayer.

Praying with humbled hearts to Him Who heals our brokenness and uplifts our countenance in the face of even the most incomprehensible of times.

Father, be with our brethren who are all encompassed in their pain and grief.

Jesus, comfort the many parents, the teachers and the students who witnessed this unimaginable attack, and bring stillness and peace to the first responders and medical personnel.

Lord, we beseech You to bring us the peace that passes all human understanding.  Encircle our beloved brothers and sisters with angels to strengthen them in their greatest time of need.  Amen.

The Lord’s Prayer

Our Father which art in heaven,
Hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done
In earth, as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
As we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
But deliver us from evil:
For thine is the kingdom, and the power,
And the glory forever.

Make Me an Instrument of Your Peace

Saint Francis Prayer

Lord, make me an instrument of Your peace. Where there is hatred, let me sow love; where there is injury, pardon; where there is doubt, faith; where there is despair, hope; where there is darkness, light; where there is sadness, joy.

O, Divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled as to console; to be understood as to understand; to be loved as to love; For it is in giving that we receive; it is in pardoning that we are pardoned; it is in dying that we are born again to eternal life.

The only way for evil to triumph is for the good to do nothing.  Which is what has happened in this country.  We all left it up to others to take care of.

This is what I placed on my Great Granddaughters quilt.

God in Heaven hear my prayer, keep me in Thy loving care.Be my guide in all I do,bless all those who love me too. Help me grow in faith and love, with your guidance from above.  This is where we need to start.  With our children and grandchildren. Make sure they know about the Lord and Savior.

SICK: Leprosy On The Rise In Los Angeles

Ahh, the joys of open borders and Democrat leadership.

California is not just a public toilet but now there is evidence that leprosy is on the rise in Los Angeles County.

Barack Obama changed US law in 2016 and allowed immigrants with blistering STDs and leprosy to migrate to the US.

Medscape reported:

Leprosy, also known as Hansen’s disease, is rarely seen in the United States, but cases continue to emerge in Los Angeles County, a new report says.

“Hansen’s disease still exists, and we need to educate medical students and physicians,” coauthor Dr. Maria Teresa Ochoa from Keck Medical Center of the University of Southern California, Los Angeles, told Reuters Health by email.

Dr. Ochoa and colleagues identified 187 patients with the disease in a review of medical records from their leprosy clinic spanning 1973 to 2018. Most patients were Latino, originating from Mexico, and they experienced a median delay in diagnosis of more than three years, the team reports JAMA Dermatology, online August 7.

Multibacillary leprosy (MB) cases outnumbered paucibacillary leprosy (PB) cases by nearly eight to one (88.6% vs. 11.4%, respectively), and Latino patients were more likely than non-Latino patients to have MB, as were patients from Central or South America (versus other regions).

Most patients (80.7%) received multidrug therapy, and most (92.6%) received antibiotics for more than two years, especially if they had MB.

Only about half of patients (56.7%) had World Health Organization (WHO) grade 0 disability (no signs or symptoms suggestive of leprosy or disability) at the one-year follow-up, whereas 16.0% had grade 1 disability (loss of protective sensation) and 26.2% had grade 2 disability (visible deformity) at the last follow-up.

Among the patients who lost protective sensation, 87.7% (50/57) did not regain it following therapy.
