Who’s Afraid of the “Big, Bad Tea Party”?

Is it any wonder that those who’ve learned to live on government handouts see the Tea Party in their nightmares as a fanged monster, or that anybody who’s profiting on the current dearth of individual thought and action sees the Tea Party as a threat?

As I understand the Tea Party, it isn’t a political party like the American Democratic and Republican Parties, or even the American Communist and Socialist Parties. It isn’t organized on a national basis. It doesn’t have a central headquarters. I don’t think it even has a centralized web page. It’s not well funded. It’s loosely affiliated: mostly locally organized groups bound by an idea.

It’s not a new idea. In fact, it’s the idea on which this country was founded: that large, extremely wealthy, all powerful, all consuming, empire-like governments that collude with equally empire-like corporations are . . . well, maybe not necessarily evil (that’d be giving evil a bad name, if it’s possible to do that), but certainly detrimental to life, economic liberty, and individual freedom.

The Tea Party is probably most similar to the American Libertarian Party, which does have a web page and national headquarters. I can see the Tea and Libertarian Parties someday merging into a formidable political organization.

But oddly enough, even though the Tea Party and the Libertarian Party are similar in belief, the Libertarian Party doesn’t scare the living daylights out of every federal government employee like the little old Tea Party does. When people in Washington DC–including many republicans–hear the words ”Tea Party,” they lash out like cornered animals.

Commissar Adolf H. Cuomo, gauleiter of the State of New York, it seems, is very afraid of the Tea Party.   All Americans should be urged, especially those living in New York, to divulge and publicize whatever they know about the skeletons, personal  and political, hidden away in this subhuman's closet.     There's stuff in Cuomo's closet that, by comparison, would make Spitzer and Weiner look like naughty schoolboys.    It's up to us to ferret it out, and use this information, in a legal and constitutional manner, to bring about Cuomo's permanent removal from American public life, before he can put into high gear the the illegal and unconstitutional program he publicly announced and initiated this week of illegally expelling  Tea Party members and those who share our beliefs, from the State of New York.   This subhuman man, unlike his father-----a relatively harmless buffoon and sometime horse's ass----is dangerous.   Like Hitler, he will do exactly what he says, if he is ever given the power to do so.

Maybe the reason the TEA Party scares politicians is exactly because TEA Party folks are not bound to any political party. The TEA Party is everyday people, mostly working people, mostly taxpayers, mostly decent law abiding citizens who share common values. In the past, Nixon called on "the silent majority", others called them "Reagan Republicans", regardless of the name, the values haven't changed. As dissatisfaction with Washington politics increases and more taxpayers become fed up with a government that doesn't listen to them, they feel disenfranchised.

Now, however, those disenfranchised, dissatisfied, voters are coalescing via the Internet into TEA Party groups. The seeds have been planted and are flourishing. The ideas and ideals of our founders are again finding support among a growing number of people.

Politicians should be worried; they will face ever increasing opposition until they go back to constitutional principles.

Sadly there is one TP group (I will not divulge the name)That has given into the Political Correctness scam. They claim to have lost a lot of members because we did not stick to the core reason for the group. IMO,these people were trolls clearly defined by their attack methods that we see on any blog. So I ask,"What did we loose?" Absolutely nothing!! They were not true conservatives, just the left looking for something to report as harsh form the TP movement. In my  view this TP group was stifling our right to free speech. They wanted us to refrain from social issued. What social issue does not revert back to the economy and our founding documents? I have to wonder if they caved to Carl (the rogue) Rove and others who have made it clear their destine for  the TP movement.

Astro turf right?

Tell them to quiver in their boots. The republicans have committed suicide & conservatives are coming to the tea party. There is no difference between the democrats & republicans anymore. Both have agreed to spend us into destruction & inflict as much pain upon us as they possibly can. I for one will never again be a republican. I will urge every conservative I know to join the tea party. The wonderful thing is it is getting easier & easier. Long live the tea party. Remember the intelligent will always triumph over the evil and asinine.

Chester,we haven't had a 2 party system for a long time. Both party's are self serving elitist who choose to move us into the NWO. G.H.W. Bush told us as POTUS," There Will Be A New World Order,And There Is Nothing Anyone Can Do To Stop It."  We do not have to accept it. They fear us at this point. If they didn't they would not have devised a bill to stop the death penalty for Treasonous actions. I laughed when I read it. Do they really think that we will abide by that silly B/S when they are tried by the people?

WALK LIKE AN EGYPTIAN!!!

I'm sick of all the Tea Party Bashing and liberal media brainwashing of our country. I told my kids that I wanted to do something about it. Along with blogging, I created a Tea Party friendly fictional novel that forecasts the inevitable effect of our current governmental policies.

They  see the original Tea Party in us , and like our forefathers struck fear in King George....WE STRIKE FEAR IN KING OBAMA AND HIS RUTHLESS , CORRUPT COURT !   YES WE CAN AND WILL !!!!!

THIS IS A PERSONAL OPINION ONLY, BUT I THINK IT HAS A TREMENDOUS AMOUNT OF MERIT. WITH THE TEA PARTY THE WAY IT IS NOW SCARING THE DAYLIGHTS OUT THE GOOD OLD BOYS NETWORK, JUST THINK IF THIS TEA PARTY WAS A NATIONAL ORGANIZATION LIKE THE REPUBLICAN OR DEMONCRAT, OR LIBERTARIAN PARTIES ARE ?  IS THAT SUCH A FAR FETCHED IDEA. THINK OF THE POWER AND THE CLOUT. YOU TALK ABOUT SCARING PEOPLE, I CAN FORSEE A GREAT MANY ENTRENCHED OLD TIMERS RIGHT NOW POOPING IN THEIR UNDERWEAR IF THEY EVER READ THIS OR GOT WIND THAT THESE GROUPS DECIDED TO ORGANIZE INTO A NATIONAL FORCE TO RECKON WITH. OBAMA HIMSELF WOULD EVEN GET REALLY NERVOUS. JUST AN IDEA. SOMETHING TO THINK ABOUT. I AM WILLING TO BET, THE COUNTRY WOULD BE READY TO ACCEPT A GROUP LIKE US  ON A NATIONAL BASIS AND CONTRIBUTIONS WOULD NOT BE DIFFICULT TO GAIN. IT WOULD NOT HAVE TO BE A THIRD PARTY, BECAUSE I DON'T THINK NOW IS THE TIME FOR THAT, BUT FOR OUR BACKING, ISSUE A CONTRACT TO THE INDIVIDUAL THAT WE MIGHT WANT TO FUND WITH OUR GUIDELINES AND HAVE THEM SIGN IT, IF THEY WANT OUR SUPPORT.

never say never...

I suggest we all bombard the internet with his article and every article regarding the increasing fear we are causing politicians and their supporters. I am going to start now. I will send it to politicians, media and my friends. The more publicity we get the better our chances. THEY do hear us!

Great idea Mary Ann !!! We really need to hit The New York Times ... letting them know that we will stop at nothing to make them "obsolete"," for they are nothing more than a "mouthpiece for Liberals !" They are an embarrassment to this country, printing "blatant lies" to promote their politician de jour ! Even ... going as far as to desperately "paint Killery Clinton" in some sort of "beneficial light," when she blatantly denied four (4) American's the security they pleaded for, actually contributed to their murder and tried to tell the country it was all due to a "bleeping video !" Yes ... not only was Killery negligent in the deaths of our American's ... we now know, she actually "contributed to their deaths" by employing Al Quida linked terrorist to help guard our Embassay in Benghazi ! Is this why she and Obama wanted to cover-up what actually took place in Benghazi, before the Presidential Election ? Many feel this is only one of the facts they needed to cover-up and there are a few "more nefarious" ones that will continue to come out in the wash ... as to why we had an Embassay in Benghazi in the first place ... particularly if our CIA didn't even know about it ???

As one of our other fellow TPer's had suggested ... not only do we need to "bombard The New York Time's" with all the ways we plan to shut them down but we need to "parlay" our March's on DC over to the Time's ! Marching in front of their building, letting them know ... The Tea Part will fight fire " WITH FIRE " ... the only major difference, is we have THE FACT'S on our side ... We need to make sure, the NYT's is just as afraid as their fellow Liberal's !!!

Breaking — West Virginia Lawmakers Invite Persecuted Pro-Second Amendment Counties In Virginia To Join Their State

West Virginia lawmakers introduced legislation to invite persecuted pro Second Amendment Counties to join their state.

The West Virginia Senate adopted a resolution to remind Virginia residents from Frederick County that they have a standing invite — from 1862 — to become part of West Virginia.

West Virginia freedom fighters broke away from Virginia Democrat slave owners during the Civil War.

This week West Virginia has once again invited persecuted Virginia pro 2-A counties to come join their state.

Sounds like a winning plan!

Resolution 8 reads as follows:

HOUSE CONCURRENT RESOLUTION 8

(By Delegates Howell, Summers, Shott, Householder, C. Martin, Hott, Graves, Cadle, Barnhart, J. Jeffries, Maynard, Phillips, Foster, Hamrick, Steele, D. Jeffries, Wilson, Waxman, Bartlett, Paynter, Linville, Sypolt, Bibby, Hill, Ellington, Higginbotham, J. Kelly, Mandt, Pack, Dean and P. Martin)

[Introduced January 14, 2020]

Providing for an election to be had, pending approval of the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Virginia, and a majority of qualified citizens voting upon the proposition prior to August 1, 2020, for the admission of certain counties and independent cities of the Commonwealth of Virginia to be admitted to the State of West Virginia as constituent counties, under the provisions of Article VI, Section 11 of the Constitution of West Virginia

Whereas, The Legislature of West Virginia finds that in 1863, due to longstanding perceived attitudes of neglect for the interests of the citizens of Western Virginia, and a studied failure to address the differences which had grown between the counties of Western Virginia and the government at Richmond, the Commonwealth of Virginia was irretrievably divided, and the new State of West Virginia was formed; and

Whereas, Such division occurred as the Trans-Allegheny portions of Virginia perceived that they suffered under an inequitable measure of taxation by which they bore a disproportionate share of the tax burden; and

Whereas, That this perception was further compounded by the effects of a scheme of representation by which Trans-Allegheny Virginia was not allowed to have its proper and equitable share of representation in the government at Richmond; and

Whereas, That this arrangement arguably resulted in the tax dollars of Trans-Allegheny Virginia being used to enrich the Tidewater through internal improvements which did not benefit the people of Western Virginia, while the people of the Trans-Allegheny had little to no say in how their tax dollars were allocated; and

Whereas, Though this course led to an irreconcilable division, and the subsequent formation of West Virginia, yet, the longstanding peaceful cooperation between this State and the Commonwealth of Virginia is a sign that such separation, undertaken even under the most challenging and onerous of circumstances, can, with the passage of time, yield lasting results which are beneficial to both sides; and

Whereas, In the intervening years, the same neglect for the interests of many of the remaining counties of the Commonwealth of Virginia has allegedly been evidenced by the government at Richmond; and

Whereas, Particularly, many citizens of the Southside, the Shenandoah Valley, Southwestern Virginia, and the Piedmont contend that an inequitable measure of taxation exists by which they bear a disproportionate share of the present tax burden of the Commonwealth; and

Whereas, The people of the Southside, the Shenandoah Valley, Southwestern Virginia, and the Piedmont also believe that, currently, a scheme of representation exists by which the citizens of Southside, the Shenandoah Valley, Southwestern Virginia, and the Piedmont do not have a proper share of representation in the government at Richmond; and, consequently

Whereas, The people of the Southside, the Shenandoah Valley, Southwestern Virginia, and the Piedmont believe that their tax dollars are used to enrich the Tidewater and Northern Virginia through internal improvements which do not benefit the people of these other parts of Virginia, while the people of these other parts of Virginia have little to no say in how their tax dollars are allocated; and

Whereas, In recent days, these tensions have been compounded by a perception of contempt on the part of the government at Richmond for the differences in certain fundamental political and societal principles which prevail between the varied counties and cities of that Commonwealth; and

Whereas, In the latest, and most evident, in this string of grievances, the government at Richmond now seeks to place intolerable restraints upon the rights guaranteed under the Second Amendment of the United States Constitution to the citizens of that Commonwealth; and

Whereas, The Legislative body of West Virginia believes that this latest action defies the wise counsel which has come down to us in the august words of our common Virginia Founders: as the government at Richmond now repudiates the counsel of that tribune of liberty, Patrick Henry-who stated to the Virginia Ratifying Convention in 1788 that “The great object is that every man be armed. Everyone who is able might have a gun”; and

Whereas, The government at Richmond now repudiates the counsel of a Signer of the Declaration and premier advocate of American independence, Richard Henry Lee-who stated in The Federal Farmer that “To preserve liberty, it is essential that the whole body of the people always possess arms”; and

Whereas, The government at Richmond now repudiates the counsel of that zealous guardian of our inherent rights, George Mason-who stated that “To disarm the people…[i]s the most effectual way to enslave them”; and

Whereas, The government at Richmond now repudiates the counsel of the declaimer of our independence and theoretician of our freedoms, Thomas Jefferson-who stated in his first draft of the Virginia Constitution, that “No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms”; and

Whereas, The Boards of Supervisors of many Virginia counties and the Councils of many Virginia cities have recognized this dangerous departure from the doctrine of the Founders on the part of the government at Richmond; and

Whereas, These Boards of Supervisors and Councils have passed resolutions refusing to countenance what they affirm are unwarranted and unconstitutional measures by that government to infringe the firearm rights of Virginians; and

Whereas, The actions of the government at Richmond undertaken since the recent general election have, regrettably, resulted in unproductive contention and escalating a lamentable state of civic tension; and

Whereas, That, as has been proven in numerous instances, such as have been observed internationally in more recent times with the peaceful dissolutions of Czechoslovakia and the Soviet Union, and the creation of South Sudan, or, earlier in Virginia’s own history, with the formation of Kentucky, the peaceful partition of neighboring peoples can occur, and, is often very beneficial to both sides in reducing tensions and improving the tenor of discourse over ongoing political and societal differences; and

Whereas, Article VI, Section 11 of The Constitution of the State of West Virginia explicitly permits additional territory to be admitted into, and become part of this state, with the consent of the Legislature and of a majority of the qualified voters of the state; and

Whereas, In a spirit of conciliation, the Legislature of West Virginia hereby extends an invitation to our fellow Virginians who wish to do so, to join us in our noble experiment of 156 years of separation from the government at Richmond; and, we extend an invitation to any constituent county or city of the Commonwealth of Virginia to be admitted to the body politic of the State of West Virginia, under the conditions set forth in our state Constitution, specifically, with the consent of a majority of the voters of such county or city voting upon such proposition; and we hereby covenant that their many grievances shall be addressed, and, we further covenant with them that their firearms rights shall be protected to the fullest extent possible under our Federal and State Constitutions; and

Whereas, Providing that the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Virginia shall give its assent to any county or independent city presently part of the Commonwealth of Virginia having the opportunity and ability to do so, therefore, be it

Resolved by the Legislature of West Virginia.
