VA won't fire officials who defrauded agency, pleaded Fifth

A pair of Department of Veterans Affairs officials who invoked their Fifth Amendment rights earlier this month rather than answer questions about their alleged involvement in a fraud scheme will remain at the agency.

Diane Rubens and Kimberly Graves were both demoted and reassigned to other VA offices as a result of their misconduct, the agency said late Friday. They will each receive a pay cut.

Rubens and Graves were accused of manipulating a VA program that pays for the relocation of employees who have to move long distances to take new jobs within the agency.

According to the VA's inspector general, Rubens created a position for herself in Philadelphia and then accepted it, netting $274,000 in the process. Her new job entailed far fewer responsibilities, but she retained the same six-figure salary.

These People will do anything, even kill their own mothers for a buck!

Bill Clinton DECENTRALIZED the Veterans Administration to: Department of Veteran Affairs. The decentralization spawned many UNETHICAL people hiring even more unethical people. When Bill Clinton and Hillary Clinton and their "friends" took over the US Government, the milieu of the VA begin to STINK and the smell was worse than a skunk's and just as VILE!!! The serious DECLINE in the VA beginning in 1994 was one that the Management was made up of "Clinton like"people. They hired gays and Blacks and the Whites were drummed out! They management kept all that kissed their A$$es and fired those who were honest and caring for the Vets. The ones who had enough "time in grade" and could, retired. The rest quit or transferred to OTHER branches of the Government, like the Prisons etc. The people that came in since 1994 treated the Veterans like they were getting something they did not deserve. The knowledge that : "without the Veterans there would be no Vet Administration, therefore no jobs was gone. The people that came in had an air of superiority and said:  "the vets are draining the system" and getting Comp and Pen they did not deserve. They voiced their disdain for "freeloaders", "double dippers" and whiners that were feigning sickness to get money. The atmosphere at most VA hospitals would make any decent person mad! The VA Hospitals did not have the atmosphere that was welcoming to anyone! The attitude and demeanor was devoid of the FACT that their JOB was made possible because of the Veterans. The Veterans provided incomes for people to support their families. Visitors were rude and many Veterans voiced that they did not feel like they were wanted or welcome. Teaching Hospitals did NOT treat Veterans like they were people/patients. I worked in a VA Hospital and I saw this happen! Now I go to VA Hospitals and they treat me like I am imposing on them.

PEOPLE: WITHOUT the Veterans MANY, MANY Government employees would SWELL the UNEMPLOYMENT lines and the Welfare rolls! The Veterans Administration and Vets generate more jobs for Americans and illegals than ANY one of the other Government agencies!

When you pass a Veteran, Thank Him or Her for YOUR freedom.

God Bless the USA and Her Defenders.

This is a prefect example of what's wrong with the VA.  Veterans are dying and these two find a way to line their pockets.  Why weren't they fired?  Wouldn't that have set a good example for the other employees? I went through 4 corporate transfers and if I had been caught cheating, I would have been fired immediately.

Will OScumBag plead the Fifth when he's put on trial for treason?

Excuse me.......I have to go take some EXTRA blood pressure meds now....

VA Execs Demoted For Fraud – Keep Jobs, Six-Figure Salaries And Taxpayer Money

Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) executives Diana Rubens and Kimberly Graves, both implicated in a fraudulent scheme which netted $400,000, were demoted, but not fired, and will keep taxpayer money.

Despite the inspector general making criminal referrals regarding the actions of Rubens and Graves, VA will not take any action to recover the fraudulently-obtained funds. Although Rubens and Graves have been demoted to general employee status, they still each make over $100,000 per year. To make matters worse, Graves was awarded a bonus of over $8,000 this year.

“Apparently, actions that result in referral of criminal charges to the Department of Justice are not serious enough to merit being fired at the VA,” Concerned Veterans for America CEO Pete Hegseth said in a statement.

Democratic Sen. Richard Blumenthal, ranking member on the Senate Veterans’ Affairs Committee, asked in October for the DOJ to launch a criminal probe into $403,000 worth of relocation benefits sent to VA officials Rubens and Graves. The two execs, according to the inspector general, pressured subordinates to transfer positions so Rubens and Graves could then fill them and receive a generous bonus and relocation benefits. Blumenthal did not respond to a request for comment by press time regarding the demotion of Rubens and Graves.

Rubens and Graves kept their six-figure salaries after they arranged to transfer themselves to positions which involved fewer responsibilities.(RELATED: Top Veterans’ Democrat Wants DOJ To Investigate VA Execs)

Earlier this month, Rubens and Graves appeared before the House Veterans’ Affairs Committee and pleaded the Fifth Amendment when interrogated about their nefarious activities.

“For those wondering whether VA is committed to real accountability for corrupt employees, VA leaders answered that question today with a resounding ‘no,’” House Veterans’ Affairs Committee Chairman Rep. Jeff Miller said in a statement.

Rubens and Graves still have the right to appeal their demotions through the Merit Systems Protection Board, according to a statement from the VA.

It's be fired or face a firing-squad.

Any criminals in prisons today must be complete idiots.  All they have to do is get a federal civil service job, and they can commit any crimes they want to with complete immunity from prosecution.  These VA officials have not just misappropriated funds, they have murdered tens of thousands of veterans in order to release the money that they wanted to steal.  That is robbery and mass murder.  If these organized criminals can get away with mass murders running into the hundreds of thousands for personal enrichment, and even keep all of the stolen money when caught, there is absolutely no limit on what any of these mobsters can get away with.  Why was there so much fuss about what Hitler, Stalin, and Mao were doing while they were in power.  Our government has gone even farther, yet those responsible receive full legal protection from the Civil Division of the U.S. Department of Justice.

Angry Dem Impeachment ‘Witness’: Pam Karlan Donated Thousands To Hillary And Was On Clinton’s List For Potential SCOTUS Nomination

Image result for Pam Karlan

The House Judiciary Committee, chaired by Rep. Jerrold Nadler, kicked off its first impeachment circus Wednesday morning.

The four ‘witnesses’ testifying have never actually witnessed any of Trump’s dealings with Ukraine firsthand — the four witnesses are law professors offering legal analysis.

One of the witnesses the Dems rolled out is an angry Hillary Clinton donor who was on Crooked’s list for a potential Supreme Court nomination.

No wonder why this unhinged, dowdy woman is so pissed off!

“Professor Pam Karlan donated thousands of dollars to Democrats and was on Hillary Clinton’s list for a potential Supreme Court nomination. So she certainly has no vendetta against President Trump,” GOP Rep. Mark Walker said.

Congressman Walker also pointed out that Noah Feldman, the Dems first partisan witness in Wednesday’s hearing tweeted about impeaching Trump right after he was sworn in.

Meet Noah Feldman, House Democrats first partisan witness.

Look at the date of this tweet. He has been trying to get @realDonaldTrump impeached since 46 days into his presidency.

His reason? Trump criticized President Obama.

This is a sham impeachment with sham witnesses.

The next witness, Karlan, has donated thousands to Democrats and was on Hillary Clinton’s list for a potential Supreme Court nomination.

So she certainly has no vendetta against @realDonaldTrump.

These witnesses are as serious as House Democrats impeachment case: not at all.

The entire sham show trial is stacked with partisan hacks who have wanted to impeach Trump from the moment he won in November of 2016.

Norm Eisen, the Democrats’ counsel who is blasting Trump and questioning witnesses in Wednesday’s show trial, tweeted about impeaching Trump before Donald Trump was even sworn into office!
