Obama's Historic Land Grab, In 2016, near the end of Barack Obama's presidency, the U.S. resettled 15,479 Syrian refugees, according to State Department figures. In 2017, the country let in 3,024. So far this year, that number is just 11. By comparison, over the same 3 1/2-month period in 2016, the U.S. accepted 790.  Syrian Refugee Resettlement Admissions in FY 2018 under President Trump. As we enter Fiscal Year 2019 today, it is customary we take a look at last fiscal year's refugee resettlement admissions. In FY 2018 (October 1, 2017 to September 30, 2018), a total of 22,491 refugees were resettled in the United States, under a refugee ceiling of 45,000.

There is nothing COMICAL or misunderstood concerning the goals and ideology of the Nazi movement.  Hundreds of millions suffered under their reign and many still suffer as a result of their advent.

Now that is a stupid statement, Nazi movement against left out (Stalin, the pride and joy of the British and American politics).

Rosie... Where do you get such tripe...

The US Government has been at odds with the USSR and Russia since the 1917 revolution in Russia.  They were of course -valuable alllies in WW2... pinning down 3 German Armies and millions of troops as the Western alliance invaded Europe.

It was Hitler who foolishly broke the peace accord with Stalin by invading Russia that was the beginning of the End for Germany.  Russia certainly was not innocent in the prosecution of the war... but they lost 8 - 10 million men in WW-2.  By comparison, the US lost 400,000. So, I suspect Russia bore a greater burden of the combat... much of it on their own lands.

How does Tiffany state this? I am laughing my butt off...:) You will find my last comment soon.

 Good night.

Goodnight Rosie and God Bless...

I did not direct the former response to Tif... it is directed at the cartoon and specifically the cartoon caricature of the Donkey... the democrat... reading the list.

I was metaphorically inquiring of the Donkey, why he had not listed a request for: "... beheadings, gang rapes, bombings... mass murders... ending it by saying... what kind of Democrat are you anyway?" suggesting he should be asking for such gifts from Santa.

IQ of 60, still stuck on a cartoon.

Oh, you can read... are you aware that some of the most potent and memorable political statements are done with cartoon caricatures?

Perhaps, you have not mentally matured sufficiently to understand the subliminal power of suggestion in cartoons.  Maybe, when you mature sufficiently you'll understand... until then you may want to listen to those with greater experience in such matters.

Isn't it past your bedtime?  Maybe your mom will read to you from one of those books you taut as authoritative history...nothing like a good fairytale at bedtime.

Don't care, bye...:)

TRUMP:  Trump To Give ‘Start Your Engines’ Command At Dayton

President Donald Trump will give the command for drivers to start their engines before the Daytona 500.

Daytona International Speedway officials named Trump the grand marshal for NASCAR’s season opener, meaning he will deliver the most famous four words in auto racing. “Gentleman, start your engines,” has been a staple of races around the country and world for decades.

White House spokesman Judd Deere said Thursday the president plans to attend the race. Track president Chip Wile confirmed the news in a release.

“Daytona International Speedway has been privileged to have hosted several sitting presidents of the United States over our history,” Wile said. “We’re honored that the president of the United States has chosen to experience the pageantry and excitement of ‘The Great American Race.’”

Trump is the third sitting president to attend a race at Daytona, but only the second to attend the Daytona 500. George W. Bush attended in 2004. Trump is the first to be given an honorary role in pre-race ceremonies.

Trump is scheduled to spend part of the Presidents Day weekend at his private club in Palm Beach, Florida.

The Federal Aviation Administration issued a flight restriction for Sunday and the U.S. Secret Service, which is responsible for presidential security, also tweeted to fans that drones are prohibited within 30 miles of the race in Daytona Beach — a restriction put in place for presidential visits.

Trump has hosted previous NASCAR champions at the White House and last October awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom to motorsports titan Roger Penske. Last year, Trump also praised retired driver Mario Andretti, the Daytona 500 winner in 1967, reminiscing about a ride Andretti gave him in a race car for his reality show “The Apprentice.”

“I said, ‘Mario, get me out of here. I want to get out of this car,’” Trump recalled. “We went so fast. We literally — we covered four blocks in like a second.”
