Zero Hedge: "Trump Fires John Bolton After "Disagreeing Strongly With His Suggestions""

By Tyler Durden

"While there was some feverish speculation as to what an impromptu presser at 1:30pm with US Secretary of State Pompeo, Treasury Secretary Mnuchin and National Security Adviser Bolton would deliver, that was quickly swept aside moments later when Trump unexpectedly announced that he had fired Bolton as National Security Advisor, tweeting that he informed John Bolton "last night that his services are no longer needed at the White House" after "disagreeing strongly with many of his suggestions."

I informed John Bolton last night that his services are no longer needed at the White House. I disagreed strongly with many of his suggestions, as did others in the Administration, and therefore....

....I asked John for his resignation, which was given to me this morning. I thank John very much for his service. I will be naming a new National Security Advisor next week.

18K people are talking about this
According to sources, while Trump had been growing displeased with Bolton's belligerent recommendations and overall demeanor (recall "Bolton 'Deep in His Heart' Believes Trump Is a 'Moron,' Former Aide..."), the tipping point happened when Bolton expressed his displeasure with Trump's impromptu invitation of the Taliban to Camp David on the week of the Sept 11 anniversary, a peace overture which as we reported over the weekend, collapsed in the last moment.

As with every Trump personnel decision, this one too appears not to have gone off without a hitch, and moments after Trump's tweet, Bolton tweeted that "I offered to resign last night and President Trump said, "Let's talk about it tomorrow."""

He's gone ... that is all that matters.  The details will be spun and twisted by the MSM until no one knows for sure why or how.  The important thing is to know that Trump is willing to fire those who oppose his long game and those of most of his advisors.  Bolton is a long-time member of the GOP inner circle and quite frankly should have never risen so high in the Trump administration.

They will take it to court of course, it want go anywhere, but their Leftist Khazar Media will use it...:)

Trump should of never used people that once served under the Democrats in past history, where does Trump thing all the leaks are coming from?

Yes Hank, it is very true, to many old Democrats working for Trump, they will continue to spy.

Florida Sheriff — “I Will Not Enforce Assault Weapons Ban, Neither Will Most Sheriffs”

Dennis Lemma, who is the Sheriff in Central Florida’s Seminole County, told a group of 2nd Amendment activists recently that he would not enforce an assault weapons ban that could soon become Florida law if the “Ban Assault Weapons Now” amendment passes in the Sunshine State.

According to News965, the ban has the following specifications.

The amendment proposed in the state legislature would ban possession of assault weapons, which are defined as “semiautomatic rifles and shotguns capable of holding more than 10 rounds of ammunition at once, either in fixed or detachable magazine, or any other ammunition feeding device.”

Lemma, an ardent supporter of the 2nd Amendment and a first term sheriff who is running for re-election, said this about whether or not he would enforce such a law.

“It’s not only that I wouldn’t, the majority of sheriffs across the state would not do it,” Lemma said in the video. It’s up to the sheriffs what they are willing to enforce.”
