History will decide
It has become apparent that the American people have absolutely no say in how their government is run. No matter what we say, or who we write, fax or call nothing will change. We have lost the soap box.
It is also a fact that no matter who we elect or why we elected them, once they get to Washington it is business as usual. The elite will decide how your elected officials will vote and we lowly constituents will just have to adapt. There is almost no difference in political parties. We have lost the ballot box.
Jury nullification is frowned upon and grand juries are hand feed information on indictments by prosecutors. We have, there for, lost the jury box.
What box does the American people have left to try to reign in a government so totally out of control that it dares to think it can force us to socialism or even Marxism? I see only one box left, God help us.
All the desperate moves being made by the American people, Articles V conventions, citizen grand juries, etc, will not bring the government back into line with the Constitution and limit them to their enumerated powers.
Mr. Jefferson once said to Jim Madison: “What country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance. Let them take arms."
Mr. Jefferson also said about being armed: "The Constitution of most of our states (and of the United States) assert that all power is inherent in the people; that they may exercise it by themselves; that it is their right and duty to be at all times armed."
Some time ago, I wrote an article. I am resending it to every elected official as a “reminder.” We must return to the enumerated powers given Congress in the Constitution. Keep pushing and you will get want you want. You just may not like it.

My name is Steve Newton and I am a citizen of this country. I write this letter representing no organization but I have a letter I think all our elected officials should read very closely. This letter was written by a young wife who has probably stated the condition and the feelings of the country in the best terms I have ever heard.
I really think that you need to read the letter and think about it and then read the rest. It is in your best interest to do so:

I am 25 years old. That is pretty young, in the grand scheme of things. Still, I am an adult--I am married, I am a voter, I am a taxpayer...in short, I am a grown up.
But the recent news stories have reduced me to a cowering five-year-old, wanting to hide in my father's lap. But, I am a grown up now, and there is nobody's lap to hide in.
Watching the news stories, I keep thinking of my history classes. I remember being shocked at some of the things that happened in history, being offended by them, being glad that they were all in the past.
At 10 I thought communism was obsolete, since only China, North Korea, Vietnam, and Cuba were communist. I grew up in a haze of patriotic fervor and faith in the belief that America was the best country in the world and that nowhere else would give you more rights.
Ah, a child's perspective.
This is my plea to fellow friends--I don't know how to deal with these recent rulings. Our country is falling apart at the seams. My husband (who is going to be a pastor) and I have had conversations about what to do when the chips are down--we are talking about martyrdom. In America. Persecution.
I think that's why this recent Obamacare ruling has me so scared. This is why the gay movement / abortion lobby frightens me. These are the issues that are going to crack the church.
Today, it's paying for contraception. Soon, it's performing gay marriages whether you like it or not. How long until you get punished just for teaching that sin is sin? And once that has happened...how long until the central doctrine of Christianity is verboten?
I fear for my husband. I fear for our future children. I fear for the church. There is so much fear, and it is all around me.
This is America, you know? I always thought as a kid these were the fears I'd never have. America's government is now big and scary and menacing...and I am so very, very, small.
I know that God is in control of things, and I remind myself that He will defend His church no matter what, from age to age. But the persecution is coming--it's already here. I don't doubt that God is at my side and that He will be with me...
But the unknown terrifies me so much.
The world is big and scary, and I am small. So small.
If you can read this letter and not feel ashamed of yourselves then you have no heart and, in my opinion, you are not a true American.
As I read this letter for the first time I felt the whole gauntlet of emotions. First I was troubled that a child so young would be afraid in her own country; Then I was sad at the loss of so many of our freedoms; Then as a double veteran I was ashamed that I have allowed this to happen on my watch; Then finally I was very, very angry.
This young lady and her husband are so afraid they are speaking of persecution and martyrdom----in their own country. Think on this a moment---people in our country are worried about dying for their freedom and their Christian religion.
When did the government of these United States become unafraid of the people and the people become afraid of the government? Who allowed you to take God out of our public lives, to allow completely open borders, to allow Islam, to allow the mainstreaming of homosexuality, to teach our kids about deviant sex, to make us pay for something we don’t want, to mortgage our kid’s futures, to allow liberal judges to make law, to spy on us, use government agencies to intimidate us, make us pay for “global warming” that don’t exist and to allow a President to rule by dictate?
Who allowed judges to order Crosses removed because one person doesn’t like it? Who ordered women’s bathrooms open to perverts wearing dresses? Who allowed the press to become an arm of the DNC? And who gave the president permission to sign a treaty that will forfeit our 2nd amendment rights?
Why do we have a department of education when we need local control of our schools? Why do we have the EPA to shut down vital industries? And who approved tax after tax after tax? Who invented political correctness and who cares if I offend you? Get over it. You offend me every day and then you complain and call us names if we object.
If you said that I allowed this, you would be correct. I and my generation failed to defend our freedoms. That will forever be our shame.
But even though my generation may have failed to safeguard our children’s freedoms—that can be remedied very quickly. These old war dogs still have teeth and we still remember what fighting is all about. If we must stand on the line again you can be sure we will be there to stay. Don’t doubt our love of God and Country.
There are men and women in nursing homes that are veterans that have more love for this country than most. They still have one more fight in them. They will stand on the line and they will once again prove themselves as patriots. Will you fire on your grandfathers and grandmothers? (Next sentence redacted *)
I had an old veteran in a nursing home hold my hand; He said if you will lead I will get out of this bed now and follow you. That is love of country and that should tell you how wrong things have become.
I believe with all my heart that every generation is given the gift of liberty from their fathers—But I also believe that with this gift comes a duty to defend liberty and freedom and to pass it down to your own children.
And I must remind you all that our liberties come from God not the government. In other words our freedoms, as set out by our founding fathers, are ours already. We have no duty to ask you for them and in fact we have a duty to insist you keep your hands off of them and in fact it is the government’s job to protect our rights.
Thus the importance of the second amendment, which provides the people of this nation a means to change our form of government if we so choose. (Or to restore it to its Constitutional roots) You have no reason to ask us why we need this weapon or that weapon; it is none of your business. You have no right to tell me when or where I can carry my weapon and you have no right to ask me for a license.
I advocate no violence and I make no threats—however it may very well be the time that the governed reminds the government who is the boss. No child of this nation should be afraid of their own government and I believe I can speak for a few veterans and patriots who feel the same way.
What would you do if your order to remove a veterans Cross was simply ignored—or better yet what if a thousand armed veterans made a permanent camp around it? You are fast pushing the American people into a situation where we may have to occupy the “People’s House” until we can restore our Republic.
I would ask that you look inside yourselves and then take a long look at what this country is becoming. Then ask yourselves how long do you think real red blooded Americans will stand by and do nothing to stop our slide into socialism if not Marxism? How long do you think we will allow you to ignore laws of the land, tax us to death, embrace all that is evil and call it good and disgrace the sacrifice of those who have died for her?
“Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter.”
And before anyone even brings up race, homophobia, political correctness, etc, let me say, this is about freedom and nothing else. We simply don’t want your kind of change.
But I will say this and you can call me a bigot, but I don’t much care for the “gay” lifestyle and I sure don’t want it around kids. I don’t like open borders, Muslims or their fake “religion,” statists, communists, abortionists, political correctness, people that want us to unilaterally disarm or anyone who hates this country.
Islam should be declared an enemy of the United States and a moratorium should be implemented on all building of Mosques in this country. This is not Europe and never will be. If you are an enemy of this country be afraid—be very afraid.
And as everyone is so fond of saying, elections matter. So what if half the country, as conservatives, stopped buying from liberal supporting businesses? What if we stopped buying from anyone who had a “press one for English” answering service?
You have made a profound mistake about the American people. “Progressives,” or communists, beware. There are still enough of us to stand up to you. You played your hand a little too early. It is time to cut the socialist statist thread that you cling to and expose you for the evil you perpetuate.
I could quote our founding fathers but in the end I suppose it should be simple so you don’t misunderstand. Stop this nonsense and stop it now. If none of you have the gumption to do so then we will. We elected you to represent us and to protect the freedoms given to us by God and fought for by our fathers, but you have taken us down a path of your own choosing and it is not an American path.
You have violated your oath of office, ignored the Constitution, lied, cheated, stole, raised taxes to a burdensome level, divided this nation among race and among the takers and the givers, taken away our pride and brought cronyism to an art form. You’re over regulation, policies and demands are killing this nation’s greatness and all the while you continue to give money to our enemies while ignoring the massive debt you have burdened our children with. Or at least the children you don’t kill while trying to make us pay for this abomination.
Unless God intervenes, in the coming days the fire that has been lit will spread. How far and how hot I don’t know. But you lit that fire; be careful it does not consume you. If you do not take steps to restore our freedoms you will be committing an act of war against the American people. We will take action. And I would expect and demand that the American military and law enforcement stand with us to uphold their oaths.
Let me repeat that; I EXPECT and demand that the military and law enforcement uphold your oaths to the Constitution. At the worse just get out of the way. (A note to the Connecticut State Police: As a retired police chief I am ashamed of you. Your complicity in the registration and confiscation of weapons is a violation of your oath. Be very careful you do not fan the flames of rebellion)
In the end I pray that you can restore our freedoms and the rule of law and we can meet together in friendship but if you are set on tyranny and dragging us into the abyss of Marxism and slavery then I will see you on the field. (Next sentence redacted by request of the Secret Service)*
This is a warning from at least a few of the American people. The line has been drawn and we will accept no more. When we have to ride again, we will come prepared (Next sentence redacted by request of the Secret Service)* to restore this Republic. And we will hold our elected officials responsible. I have been to the line in the sand: And I liked it. Take heed. We have had enough.
May God our Father and His son Jesus Christ protect this Christian Nation and its patriots.

This letter was submitted to the Secret Service prior to release. In these days and times, the author thought it prudent to provide them the opportunity to express any concerns they may have had. They did not demand changes but expressed a concern about two sentences they thought might be construed as threats. Those were redacted. Just to be plain. In this day and age I thought it wise to advise the Secret Service of this letter. They "suggested" some redactions which I have made.
The language of the redactions were almost word for word what our founding fathers stated.
I do not believe the redactions take away from the message.

Those are indeed some very inspiring words you present. However the overwhelming scale of the corruption is mind-boggling.
Contrary to beliefs, our society is not simply being bled by Socialist programs and government profligate spending. We do not have upwwards of 3 Trillion dollars just disappear from the America in a year and a half, not from even quasi-legitimate means, given that this amount of money exceeds the GDP for the entire world over that time.
Catherine Austin Fitts addressed these overwhelming financial concern specifically and the "black' government that is actually controlling this country now., in the 2014 Secret Space Program Conference held in San Mateo. Fitts' address is 1 hour and 22 minutes long, and if you have trouble viewing this, let me know and I will try to get the audio for you.
The difficulty we face is targeting organizations and their processes that are not publicly known, often disguised and entrenched in unaccountable federal bureaucratic processes, and tied to the military-industrial complex that even J.F. Kennedy warned us about in his famous speech, as far back as April 27, 1961.
This is far, far bigger than just "Obama", or "the Democrats", or just general "Washington Corruption".
There is no doubt in my mind that an Article V Convention is entirely inadequate to address this problem, and is not just "possibly", but "undeniably" intending to be used to serve those interests, rather than any sort of constitutional restoration.
I would be interested to learn what "redactions" the Secret Service suggested should be removed, and how this actually came about.

When I first wrote this letter I contacted the Secret Service and faxed the document to them. They called back almost immediately.
I no longer remember the exact words they requested be removed as it may be taken as a "threat" to legislators, but I do remember they were almost the exact words our founders used.
I will see if I can find my original.

Communist censorship, the liberals rewrite the Constitution to their liking.
The Liberals are so bold that they no longer even take the time to rewrite the Constitution or the laws supporting it... they simply issue Executive Orders or Court Decrees circumventing the Constitution and years of judicial adjudication of the existing laws. The Deep State has no restraint... it rules by arbitrary dictate... under the Color of Law.
