There’s what Speaker Ryan just said about the Somali refugee bill – and then there are facts

It seems House Speaker Paul Ryan is having a hard time keeping his story straight these days.

In an interview on ‘The O’Reilly Factor,’ on Wednesday, Ryan was asked by host Bill O’Reilly about his own state’s Somali refugee crisis.

“We have a Somali problem up in Minneapolis-St. Paul. [We] have a problem there and those are refugees from Somalia. And if, God forbid, some refugee comes in and blows people up, it’s going to be grisly.”

Ryan responded, “Right. Right. That’s why– just so you know that’s why we passed a bill pausing this refugee program, because we don’t think the refugee program works. That’s why we don’t want it to continue right now.”

Problem is, according to Breitbart, Ryan’s claim is patently untrue. In fact, Numbers USA Director of Government Relations Rosemary Jenks says the bill would “not have affected the Somali refugee program at all.”

“The bill the House passed would in no way pause the refugee program,” Jenks continued. “They had the option of taking up the Babin bill, which would have paused the refugee program, but they refused to do that… All [the House bill] required was that the government sign off that individuals had been vetted. It didn’t even change the fact that we don’t have any information by which to vet them.”

Ironically enough, the Democrat bill sponsored by Dianne Feinstein would actually do more than Ryan’s own weak bill because Feinstein’s bill would require anyone who has visited Syria or Iraq within the past five years to obtain a visa instead of simply being granted refugee status.

With significant portions of Minneapolis literally preferring Sharia law over American law, O’Reilly’s concerns are more than valid. In fact, the Minneapolis Star Tribune reported on a Congressional report finding that “Minnesota leads the nation in would-be ISIL terrorists from U.S. During the last two years, more than 20 Somali-Americans from Minnesota have left to fight alongside terrorists under the banner of ISIL.”

Ryan will not need the American Citizen vote. He will depend on the terrorists to get him elected. Hope Trump plays this soundbyte over and over. How they can sit there and lie to thousands of Americans is beyond me.

Immigrants who are not US Citizens are not legally permitted to vote... If Ryan is depending on their vote, then he is either ok with violating the current naturalization laws, which take upwards of 5 yrs to qualify for citizenship, or he doesn't care about the law and will simply let the President waive his magic wand and make these aliens citizens.

The people of Wisconsin had better wake up and summarily throw Ryan out of office during their primary.... or prepare to accept Sharia Law and Islam.  The women in Wisconsin ought to be very, very, concerned over Ryan's actions.  They need to depose those public officials who are coddling and enabling Muslims, as they transform Minneapolis into a Muslim Stronghold.

Try Calif and a few other places..... get a  drivers license... you can vote... or what these Dems plan on doing is using this  info to vote across the country.  Supposedly not in Fed elections but who is going to check???? No more having to go to the cemetery.   LARAZA/LULAC/NAVIGATORS   have been signing up people  one bragged that they got absentee ballots  for over 16 elections  for each person they handled.

The electoral system in America has been hijacked by leftist who agree with Joseph Stalin's position on elections... The People only need to know that an election occurred.  The people have lost their franchise on the ballot boxes of America as the left registers and re-registers dependent voters in some cases as many as 6 times.

The only counter we have is to turn out in overwhelming numbers... making it impossible for them to find the votes in any given precinct without vote totals exceeding the number  of registered voters and in some cases the population of various counties. This occurred in Ohio and Florida during the last Presidential election.... and some counties in Ohio reported 100% of the vote for Obama... while others had votes that exceed the total of the counties population or its registered voters.

Yes, high voter turn out will make if very difficult to defend vote totals that exceed local populations... or in some cases are reported as 100% going for the Democrat... both are ridiculous and open evidence of voter and election fraud.

Vote and take a friend... report irregularities when you see them to the election judges and media.. keep a record and publish them on social media... raise hell over what you believe to be voter or election fraud.

I think Ryan is on drugs and can't keep his story straight.  He even looks like he is on drugs when you see him on some of the pictures  I have seen how he looks when you see him in alot of the Tea Party photos.   He better get his act together and get behind Trump and stop his wishy rwashy attitude about Trump.  He should have never been given John Boehner's position.  He is not fit and is nothing but a RINO!

We don't live in either WI or AZ so can't vote against Ryan and McCain, thus I think we had all better send donations to Ryan's Repub opponent in WI, Paul Nehlen, and then we must do the same to McCain by sending donations to his Repub opponent in AZ, Kelli Ward.  We already did and invite you to join us!  We have to gather a congress that will work with President Trump. Obviously, neither of these two will.  TRUMP 2016!!!

1. Allowing ANY muslim into America is a blatant violation of the Immigration and Naturalization Act of 1952.

2. Ryan knows this as do all members of congress, but not ONE calls for it to be enforced.

3. This makes Ryan and all of congress criminals for refusing to enforce the law.

4. In my opinion, it also makes them all traitors for we KNOW islam calls for sharia to be implemented on the world, and by force is necessary. This reinforces the position that ALL members of congress are traitors.

No matter what our RULERS demand more subjects.

Just say no. Demand ZERO immigration!

Our immigration system is broken, we need to fix this system of immigration and make sure that we allow only people in our country that 1- subscribe to our system of government, our U.S. Constitution, our laws and principles. 2- Good moral character and principles should be require to get a visa.

Minnesota "nice" may learn some lessons.

Ryan is not a fool, he just acts like one.  He is even WORSE that was Boehner.

Ryan continues to PROVE he's a muslim............he can LIE at the drop of a hat

Paul Ryan once again proves he's a LIAR and not fit to be Speaker of the House! GET RID OF HIM and put some one in his place who has some BALLS!

Sic of the POLITICAL BULLSHIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Horrible: Democrats Set The Constitution On Fire With Fraudulent Impeachment

House Democrats unveiled two articles of impeachment against President Donald Trump on Tuesday morning after an investigation that violated fundamental provisions of the Constitution and the Bill of Rights.

The investigation of the president began with the complaint of a so-called “whistleblower” who turned out to be a rogue Central Intelligence Agency employee, protected by a lawyer who had called for a “coup” against Trump in early 2017.

Democrats first demanded that the “whistleblower” be allowed to testify. But after House Intelligence Committee chair Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) was found to have lied about his committee’s contact with the “whistleblower,” and after details of the “whistleblower’s” bias began to leak, Democrats reversed course. In violation of the President Trump’s Sixth Amendment right to confront his accuser, Democrats refused to allow the “whistleblower” to testify. They argue the president’s procedural rights, even if they existed, would not apply until he was tried in the Senate — but they also invented a fraudulent “right to anonymity” that, they hope, might conceal the whistleblower even then.

Schiff began the “impeachment inquiry” in secret, behind the closed doors of the Sensitive Compartmentalized Information Facility (SCIF) in the basement of the U.S. Capitol, even though none of the testimony was deemed classified. Few members of Congress were allowed access. Schiff allowed selective bits of testimony to leak to friendly media, while withholding transcripts of testimony.

Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), having allowed the secret process to unfold, legitimized it with a party-line vote authorizing the inquiry. The House resolution denied President Trump the procedural rights enjoyed by Presidents Richard Nixon and Bill Clinton, and denied the minority party the traditional right to object to witnesses called by the majority.

Rather than the House Judiciary Committee, which traditionally handles impeachment, Pelosi also deputized the House Intelligence Committee to conduct fact-finding; the Judiciary Committee was turned into a rubber stamp. Schiff held a few public hearings, but often failed to release transcripts containing exculpatory evidence until after they had passed.

In the course of the Intelligence Committee’s investigation, Schiff quietly spied on the telephone records of his Republican counterpart, Ranking Member Devin Nunes (R-CA). He also snooped on the phone records of a journalist, John Solomon; and on the phone records of former New York City mayor Rudy Giuliani, acting as President Trump’s personal lawyer.

Schiff’s eavesdropping violated both the First Amendment right to press freedom and the Sixth Amendment right to counsel. Yet he proceeded undeterred by constitutional rights, publishing the phone logs in his committee’s report without warning, confirmation, or explanation, alleging that Nunes and the others were part of a conspiracy to assist the president’s allegedly impeachable conduct. When Republicans on the Judiciary Committee asked the Intelligence Committee’s majority counsel, Daniel Goldman, to explain the phone logs, he refused to answer,

Ironically, Schiff had done exactly what Democrats accuse Trump of doing: abused his power to dig up dirt on political opponents, then obstructed a congressional investigation into his party’s and his committee’s misconduct.

Democrats’ articles of impeachment include one for the dubious charge of “abuse of power,” which is not mentioned in the Constitution; and one for “obstruction of Congress,” which in this case is an abuse of power in itself.

Alexander Hamilton, writing about impeachment in Federalist 65, warned that “there will always be the greatest danger that the decision will be regulated more by the comparative strength of parties, than by the real demonstrations of innocence or guilt.” Democrats have fulfilled Hamilton’s worst fears.

The Trump impeachment will soon replace the 1868 impeachment of President Andrew Johnson — which the House Judiciary Committee staff actually cited as a positive precedent — as the worst in American history.

In service of their “coup,” Democrats have trampled the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. The Republic has never been in greater danger.

You don't get to interrupt me
