The U.S. Army confirmed Wednesday it won’t be changing the titles of bases named after Confederate generals.

For the military, the generals aren’t being honored because of their ideology, but because of their individual characters, Stars and Stripes reports.

Following the shooting at a black church which left nine dead in Charleston, S.C., many have called for symbols representing the Confederate States of America to be removed from government property. That call has included pressure on the Pentagon to strip military bases across the country named after prominent Confederate military figures, namely Fort Benning, Fort Bragg and Fort Hood.

Fort Bragg, for example, takes after Gen. Braxton Bragg, who started out as an officer in the United States Army and then moved to general of the Confederate Army of Tennessee. Benning is named after Henry Benning, who sat on the Georgian Supreme Court and served as a Confederate army officer.

Lets face it, most Blacks don't know who the bases were named after. Good question for Waters World at Black Colleges. That is if we still have colleges that are considered Black.

Oh, yeah, there are many; they're the ones graduating people who can't read, write, or do math (Hank Johnson, Sheila Jackson-Lee, etc.).

Theyre the ones with all the government jobs still speaking in ebonics and 'axing' too many questions because they don't have a clue.

All our high schools are doing that now.

And whites are smarter ?Most the people he interviews are of all races,

Seriously, they don't even know who their daddies are.

That's almost as bad as Father's Day in Oakland California..None of them know their daddies either........

It started with the flag, moved to statues, then street names, building names, now military installations. Liberals are never satisfied. Why don't we have someone just stand up and tell these idiots no more. Just shut the F*** up and move on.

Exactly!!  People need to stop kowtowing to these fascists!!

Doesn't our pissant President tweet from WTF?

The fact that he insisted on doing the eulogy of the black pastor in Charleston was much like dropping a turd in a punch bowl. People with faith and class are handling the situation quite well. He needs to make it a political push to further destroy our heritage - as promised and idiots still voted for him - and to take our means of personal defense away as ISIS lone wolves are showing their demonic faces all over the west - even slaughtering Muslims in the process.

Hopefully they'll slaughter all the Muslims. They offend me so they should be removed.. I'm not black though so that won't happen.

Couldn't have said it better.  This country could become utopia tomorrow and the liberals would not be happy.  I believe it is physically impossible for a liberal to be happy about anything.

Gohmert: Dems Will Drag Out Impeachment — Try To Get ‘Best Socialist’ Nominated For President

During an appearance on Huntsville, AL radio’s WVNN on Thursday, Rep. Louie Gohmert (R-TX) offered his best assessment of what House Democrats were trying to accomplish with their impeachment efforts.

Gohmert told WVNN’s “The Jeff Poor Show” impeachment could tie up the Democratic Party’s presidential campaign efforts but predicted Democrats would use the occasion to nominate “the best socialist” they can.

“They would lose in the Senate,” Gohmert said on impeachment. “And besides that, the entire time it was on trial in the Senate, the Democrats who are running for president wouldn’t be allowed to campaign. That’s in the Constitution. They wouldn’t be able to campaign. I just can’t imagine them wanting to do that because if they send it to the Senate, they have now perfectly set up the scenario of 1996, where they will reassure Donald Trump is reelected as president. They don’t want to do that. They’re probably going to drag this thing out as long as they possibly can … through Iowa, through primaries — try to get the best socialist they can to be nominated.”

“Then just end up and say, ‘Now we’re close enough to the general election. We’ve thrown mud at the president through the House,’” he continued. “What they’re really doing — they’re using taxpayer funds to campaign against Trump. That’s all this is — a campaign fund that taxpayers are paying for in order to try to throw mud at the president. I’ll be surprised if they have that vote, but I can’t imagine they want to set up this president for reelection by having a trial in the Senate where they lose.”
