The Ugly Spectacle Taking Place in Washington by The RINOS and their Leadership to Overthrow the Candidacy of Donald Trump, is nothing short of a Political Coup D'Etat

The move by the Washington Republican Establishment  (RINOS) to overturn the votes of the voters, who voted for Donald Trump in the Primary, is a bold move to show the voters that the Republican Party is not their Party.  Instead, to the RINOS, the government  is bought, paid and sold to the lobbyists, special interests, and large corporations who control the votes of the legislators, whom the people send to Washington to represent them. The "Anybody but Trump" movement is a threat to our democracy.
The RINOS' bosses, lobbyists, large donors, and special interests have told the Republican  Representatives, and Senators in Washington  that  they must take the Republican Party back from the grass roots, the voters, and in no uncertain terms show them whom the Republican Party belong to.  The Republican Party, as is the Democrat Party, is bought and paid for by the Republican and Democrat large donors, Super PACs. and lobbyists.
To try to take the nomination from Mr. Donald J. Trump,  and give the Republican nomination to Ted Cruz, or Marco Rubio,  is an insult to every voter who voted for Mr. Trump. Neither stodgy, pudgy, Cruz or little Rubio have the stature, or charisma to lead this country.  Neither command the presence and overpowering stature of Mr. Trump.  When Mr. Trump walks into a room, Mr. Trump commands respect and authority. He is an accomplished businessman, who will bring years of knowledge and executive experience into the White House on day one .  He does not have to learn how to be an executive.
Why should the American people entrust the head of our government to either of two junior senators from Texas and Florida, who have no executive experience?  This experiment was tried with the current occupant in the White House and the country is in a mess.  The RINO establishment is attempting to bring this scenario to fruition, in order to prevent Mr. Trump from becoming the Republican nominee and President.
Why do the Republican establishment (RINOS) and the people that they work for in Washington, the lobbyists, special interests, and large donors, want to take down Mr. Trump and his Presidency?  Because they know, that it will not be businesses as usual  in Washington.  The lobbyists, special interests, large donors, and their corruption will be exposed at every turn in a Trump Presidency.  Mr. Trump is unbought and unsold.  When they seek to corrupt the Presidency, by getting Mr. Trump to sign legislation that is filled with fraud and abuse, Mr. Trump will throw the legislation, and the pens to sign the legislation, back in their faces.  Congress will be exposed at every turn for the granting of special favors and legislation to benefit the donors, and lobbyists, who financed their campaigns.
This is what the ugly spectacle taking place in Washington by the RINOS and their leadership, including, Paul Ryan, Mitch McConnell, Lindsay Graham, John McCain, Mitt Romney, and others, is about.  A political coup d'etat, to overthrow  the will of the Republican voters, and ultimately the American people, for the sake of preserving the status quo of corruption and  influence peddling, by the lobbyists, special interests, and big money donors.

Ted Cruz has joined the Washington Republican RINO deal makers, to prevent Mr. Trump's nomination, by cutting a deal with that turtle back Kasich to form a ticket before the Republican convention. Led by the loser Mitt Romney, the Washington RINO establishment has enlisted the support of every Republican Congress person to send out their endorsements of Ted Cruz to their constitutents. These people, who we send to Congress are supposed to represent the people, who send them to Washington, and not the Washington RINOS.

The ugly process of sausage making has begun, and we are witnessing politics at its worst. The GOP as a party is now fractured beyond repair. The Democrats will have a permanent hold on the White House and the Oval Office. Donald J. Trump was the last best hope for the Republicans to win the White House again. Instead, the GOP will lose again. The Tea Party is fractured over Ted Cruz. Cruz is not fit for the Office of President. The voters will show him and the GOP in November.

I couuld see how not....uh, "dwelling" on Trump's past would be a "YUGE" conveniece -- as his past is LOADED w/ bankruptcies, emminent domain, and liberal ideals, to say the least!

Hence Trump's need to play Five-Card-Monty w/ his political stances.

He is every bit as good at double talk as Obama and BOTH Clintons are.

Trump BOUGHT FAVORS!   Period!

Undoubtedly, a Trump presidency, like the Reagan presidencies, will help raise the voice of the grassroot wing of the Republican Party. Unfortunately, the Bush presidencies weakened it. Now we have an opportunity to once again empower the voice of the grassroot by supporting a Trump presidency. This is why the GOP establishment wants to stop Trump at all cost, by any measure, even if it means supporting Sen Cruz.

davidfarrar, that picture of Mr. Trump holding a sign "Will Work For Free", sys it all.    Mr. Trump loves us and this country so much that he is begging "we the voters" to let him work for free as President.  I weep as  write this post.  It is overwhelmingly touching.

Love this picture..he is also not asking for $$$$ every time one turns around....

The only problem I have is with Tea Party friends that are ALL in for Cruz...some of the most vocal about king o's ineligibility are willing to overlook Cruz's and all the ties he has with Goldman Sachs, the Bushes and the CFR.....just because he "preaches" the Constitution....and does not talk about the "size of his hands"....and because he won cases at the Supr. Crt....I get this daily from them. But God is telling me not to vote for him and I intend to listen....Palin, Session etc..we cannot ALL be wrong. It seems to me the more the "establishment one worlders" have a tif about Trump the more We The People need him.

Ted Cruz is bought and paid for by his large donor base including, not only Goldman Sachs and the Koch Brothers, but other large donors.  A list of the big money  donors and Super Pacs supporting Cruz would expose Cruz's vulnerability to corruption and influence peddling.

"ALL" tea partiers huh, debra? That's as ridiculous as liberals assuming that ALL repubs, tp'ers, 912ers, Conservativs, as well as the Trump fans, are ALL "racists"!

Other than self-promotion and adoration, what has Trump actually done that's actually inline w/ genuine Constitutional princieples?

Yes! Cruz's record as TX SG is exemplary! As far as his "ties" w/ the Bushes - well, first of all, it had been reported how at a fundraiser, GW, referring to Cruz, said; "I don't like that guy.". D you know why, Cebra?

I am quite sure that you are familiar w/ the José Medellín case. If not, you will be now:

> In 2003, Jose Ernesto Medellin was on death row for his subhuman crimes a decade earlier: the rape and murder of two young girls, ages 14 and 16. Medellin was an [ILLEGAL ALIEN] and sought to have his execution stayed, claiming that during his trial he was not notified of an [international law] through which he could have obtained legal aid from the Mexican consulate. Mexico then sued the United States on behalf of Medellin and [50 other ILLEGAL ALIENS} that were incarcerated in the U.S. for crimes they committed on US soil, citing the same loophole.

District and appellate courts threw out Medellin’s requests, but the Supreme Court agreed to hear the case. Before the case could be argued, however, [the Bush administration STEPPED IN].

Bush took the position that as president, he had the authority under the Constitution to order states to review the convictions and sentences of foreign nationals in order to advise them of their rights[?!] according to [international law]. (Again, w/ the international law bllsht!)

Cruz argued that the President could not order Texas to reopen the cases without the specific authorization of Congress. Cruz duelled with Stephen Breyer and other skeptical Justices for well over the allotted thirty minutes. Breyer ribbed Cruz: “As I read the Constitution, it says all treaties made, or which shall be made, under the authority of the United States shall be the supreme law of the land, and the judges in every state—I guess it means including Texas”—the audience laughed—“shall be bound thereby.”

“Certainly, Justice Breyer,” Cruz answered. “Texas, of course, does not dispute that the Constitution, laws, and treaties are the supreme law of the land.” But, he went on, the President’s order, in this case, was none of these. The questioning of Cruz became so raucous that, at one point, Justice John Paul Stevens felt compelled to interject, “You said there are six reasons. . . . I really would like to hear what those reasons are without interruption from all of my colleagues.” Cruz won the case, six-to-three, [1]

Do you realize just how CLOSE our criminal justice system, perhaps the USC...came to being usurped by "international law"? Imagine how many RAPISTS and MURDERERS might have been released under such "technicalities"!

You see, Debra, THIS "tea partier" holds NO affinity or loyalty towards GW, (or any other Bush for that matter!). I haven't forgotten how GW had permitted the icarceration of the two Border Patrol Agents: Jose Compean and Ignacio Ramos. Placed in max security - for having shot a Mexican drug smuggler coming over the border - ILLEGALLY! They had to be placed in solitary because they were beaten very badly! And, what did GW do? He had their sentences merely commuted on his LAST DAY in Office: Jan 19, 2009. That o me is the proof that GW, as well as his father, ARE big-govt-international-progressives.I dispise their political agenda.

If you guys think Trump will be as firm on building a "great" wall, and being as hard on illegals as he has been selling himself since June 2015, and of which is THE reason he had attracted the following he has -- you are very much MISTAKEN! His positions are CHANGING yet again! Of course you guys will believe that those are the "changes" we NEED!

Did you listen to Judge Jeanine??? Maybe you should....

The hundred of RINOS from the National Review, the Council on Foreign Relations,  GOP National Security Leaders, and many other members of the Bush Cartel, have done everything in their power to overturn the votes of the Trump supporters.   It seems like Trump supporters and voters have no place in the Republican Party.  Cruz and Rubio are not an option.

Mr. Trump was our last hope.  Now that the RINOS are doing everything to change the outcome of the nomination, I think we are at a crossroad.   If the RINOS ensure that Cruz is the nominee, Cruz will lose and Hillary will win.  All of the new voters that Mr. Trump has attracted to the Party will not vote.  I, a long time Republcian, will not vote in the general election, if Cruz, Rubio, or anyone other Donald Trump, is the Republican nomonee. If you have read my other discussions and posts, you will understand why I cannot and will not support Cruz or Rubio.

just listened to Judge Jeanine eviscerate Mitt and his recent speech;

and thoughts began to wander about her 'Mitt would prefer Hillary win' point. Considering most the elders in R party have said essentially the same thing and one of those in particular is majority leader of the Senate, and there's a SCOTUS seat available now..  I wonder;

Will the senate Rs gladly confirm obie's SCOTUS pick in retaliation for their establishment being rejected?

1 Billion Dollar Net Worth!!! Oberlin College Claims Poverty To Avoid Paying Punitive Damages To Gibson’s Bakery

Although IRS reports show the university is worth around $1 billion, Oberlin College still claimed poverty to avoid paying punitive damages to Gibson’s Bakery.

As Breitbart News reported this week, the far-left Oberlin College lost a defamation case filed by Gibson’s Bakery after a local jury found the university liable for falsely accusing the family bakery of racism.

The jury ordered Oberlin on Friday to pay Gibson’s $11.2 million in compensatory damages for defamation and intentional interference with a business.

Legal Insurrection reported on Thursday that “the jury awarded a total of $33 million in punitive damages, which will probably be reduced by the court to $22 million because of the state law cap at twice compensatory.”

Legal Insurrection has been following the case for two years — since the beginning — and reports that the school’s only defense against a sizable punitive award is to pretend it is poor, despite holding assets that amount to a billion — with a “b” — dollars and despite paying some of its staffers more than a half-million dollars a year:

Oberlin College was so hellbent on getting the message out that their cash liquidity was in such dire straits — as the eight-person jury was figuring out if they wish to add $22.4 million to the school’s legal verdict bill — that they brought out the school’s president, Carmen Twillie Ambar to the stand to tell that part the story.

“We’ve created deficits … and over the next ten years, if this continues, that is unsustainable and we will not exist,” Ambar told the jury. She even indicated the school’s grants — about $60 million a year from the school, and lots of students get those scholarships as only 10% of them pay the full $70,000 a year — were important to preserve as “the accessibility of education” was a key component of the school’s purpose.

The college has more than $1 billion in funds and net assets according to the latest IRS 990 form, an endowment fund that had grown from $440 million to $887 million in the last 20 years, and because of its non-profit status, pays no taxes on any property it owns.

It also had 18 members of their administration making more than $100,00 a year. The president and chief financial officer of the school were both making more than $500,000 a year.

Grifters gonna grift…

The day after Donald Trump won the presidency, this nutball school apparently decided to take out its impotent woke-rage on this poor bakery, which has been part of the Oberlin community for more than a century.

It all started when three Oberlin students (who would later plead guilty in a plea deal) attempted to steal bottles of wine.

The proprietors caught the students and, while attempting to hold them until police arrived, were allegedly roughed up by the shoplifters. But because the students are black and the proprietors white — and with no respect for due process or facts — Oberlin staffers and students decided some vigilantism was in order and did everything in their considerable power to destroy this local bakery forever, to smite it off the map.

Classes were canceled so hundreds of students could protest in front of the small store while enjoying free food and drink, courtesy of the school. School staffers handed out fliers that basically described the family-owned bakery as the local branch of the KKK.

As a result, the bakery had to lay off almost all of its employees and barely avoided bankruptcy.

In the end, the three shoplifters said race had nothing to do with what happened.

For those of you interested in incurring $200,000 in debt before you even enter the workforce, it looks as though you can major in Mob Justice at Oberlin.
