The Company Bloomberg Keeps Is More Concerning than Law Abiding Folks With Guns

Perhaps it’s a commentary on the insanity of his anti-gun push, or perhaps it’s a statement on the company he keeps… that is not for me to decide. However the caliber of person New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg has opted to include in his Mayors Against Illegal Guns, leaves me once again questioning Mayor McNanny and his judgment.

For those not familiar, the Mayors Against Illegal Guns is a lobby group of mayors from around the country who seek to impose their will upon America in the nationwide battle for the Second Amendment.

The list of morally superior members includes the illustrious Gainesville, Fla., Mayor Craig Lowe, who just this past Thursday was arrested on charges of driving under the influence and property damage after police found him asleep in his car at the scene of a crash.

Then there is James Schiliro, the mayor of Marcus Hook, PA, who was actually removed from the Mayors Against Illegal Guns list of supporting mayors for his recent, um… indiscretions. As reports:

38-year old Schiliro allegedly had a police officer "pick up a 20-year old" male and bring him to the Mayor’s home. Once there, Schiliro allegedly provided the under-age male with alcohol and asked for sexual favors.

When the 20-year old refused to cooperate, Schiliro allegedly lost his temper, grabbed a handgun, and fired "it into some papers."

The charges filed against Schiliro include "unlawful restraint, reckless endangerment, false imprisonment, official oppression, and furnishing alcohol to a minor."

Oh, but we’re just getting started.

According to an article in the Washington Free Beacon, aptly titled, “Mayors Gone Wild” the Bloomberg anti-gun group has been ripe with members, current and past, who have had more than their fair share of run-ins with the law including charges of felony corruption, assault of a police officer, and child sex crimes.

“Mayor Bloomberg should be more interested in the conduct of MAIG members than trying to pry into the personal lives of gun owners or soda drinkers,” said Second Amendment Foundation executive vice president Alan Gottlieb in a statement. “If anybody needs a background check, it would be a MAIG member.”

Indeed Mr. Gottlieb. Indeed.

Awesome and huge thanks to Angela Wiltz and the Tavern Keepers.

Bloomberg is a filthy rich A--hole who thinks New York city is his favorite toy and the citizens are the little ants he can crush and stomp at will .

I find it absolutely outrageous that libs in general will jump all over the tiniest indiscretion or of a conservative politician or personality yet allow, cover up, excuse and defend for other libs. However horrific the crime...Benghazi, Menendez etc.

Look at the tiny group of scum bag med student at John Hopkins that are attacking Ben Carson. I do hope the medical industry look at this group and blacklist this group as who in mainstream America wants to be treated by a physician who is more concerned with liberal dogma than medical expertise?

Bloomberg should be forced to change his name. He is an insult to all us good conservative Jews

I think its more than the stereotype Jewish social justice element with "Nanny Bloomer" Its a huge degree of superiority and need for control he is being obsessed by!

Bloomer is more the "great leader" in his own mind than Mayor, he and his elite friends all see themselves as the saviors of the poor. After all thats been the NYC way...the Film "Gangs of New York" shows this with little subtlety.

When will the independent New Yorkers wake up and say hey, this Gavoon is no Giuliani...he's a 5th spender on our dime!

Right on!

Ditto, don't know what those people are thinking!

certainly if you live in glass houses you should not throw stones.  I also have a great Mayor Story in South Dakota  in 1991 a woman married to another man was impregnated by the current mayor.  She thought he loved her even though it was his best friend wife.  She told her husband she was leaving him for his friend as she was pregnant with his child.  Later that night she and the current mayor was seen having an argument at a local dance hall and she was drown in a supposed accident later that evening.  The husband drove accross a frozen lake and she was strapped into her seat.  The car went into the ice and he escaped but she drowned.  The next morning the car was pulled from the lake where her body was found and cremated because of the family connections of the husband.  The man who got her pregnant is now the Mayor of Watertown SD.  All nicely covered the Mayor, the chief of Police, the states attorney, and the Parents of that Young girl never even

got to see the body.  Corruption keeps rearing its ugly head in our todays bunch of supposed leaders.

Great article  Bloomberg is one big idiot.  He is using this office to dictate to the entire state what to do.  Guess  he is following Obama's lead.  The man is useless and a tyrant just like Obama.  I can't believe New Yorkers put up with this.

Another old guy that needs to go fishing and these people not know our history or do they not think with anything but foolishness?  This is America...where do they think they have been living all this time...and why do they want to be a part of what is destroying this nation?   Idiocy!!   One would think with the scare that New York City had they would be smarter...especially the officials......NOT?????

"Evil company corrupts good morals." I Corinthians 15:33

Not that they ever had good morals to begin with beings as they are corrupt to the core.

Evil is as evil does.

James Schiliro, gay. Birds of a feather..Michael Bloomberg.

Now, why won't we see this on FOX news?

Democrat Sen. Chris Murphy: ‘The Real Second Amendment Isn’t Absolute

Sen. Chris Murphy (D-CT) tweeted Saturday there is a “real” Second Amendment and an “imaginary” one and he believes the real one is “not absolute.”

Murphy, “I support the real 2nd Amendment, not the imaginary 2nd Amendment. And the real 2nd Amendment isn’t absolute.”

The statement was a precursor to his call for banning “assault rifles” in the wake of the Santa Fe High School shooting, even though “assault rifles” were not used in the attack.

Murphy said the “real 2nd Amendment…allows Congress to wake up to reality and ban these assault rifles that are designed for one purpose only – to kill as many people as fast as possible.”

Gov. Greg Abbott (R-TX) said the Santa Fe High School attackers used a .38 revolver and a shotgun to carry out his heinous acts. Therefore, a ban on “assault rifles” would have done nothing to prevent the attack from occurring or the tragic loss of life from taking place.

It should be noted that Saturday was not the first time Sen. Murphy called the essence of the Second Amendment into question. On August 6, 2013, Breitbart News reported that Murphy told MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow that “The Second Amendment is not an absolute right, not a God-given right. It has always had conditions upon it like the First Amendment has.”

Murphy did not grapple with the words, “Shall not be infringed.”
