Tennessee Is About to Ban the U.N. From Monitoring Their Elections

Tennessee

Remember when the U.N. sent election monitors to 44 of our states to monitor our elections? They didn’t send the monitors to Iran or Russia or El Salvador, they sent them to the U.S. thanks in large part to hard left civil rights groups like the N.A.A.C.P.  That group isn’t about “colored people” as much as it’s about the hard left.

Tennessee is fighting back according to the Knox Blogs. They have a bill – HB2410 – before the governor that is one sentence long: ”Any representative of the United Nations appearing without a treaty ratified by the United States Senate stating that the United Nations can monitor elections in this state, shall not monitor elections in this state.”

It was co-sponsored by Sen. Frank Niceley, R-Strawberry Plains and approved without debate 23-2. It has been sent to Gov. Bill Haslam for approval.

The N.A.A.C.P. has been fighting for communist causes in recent years and the once great organization is finding relevance in the statist ideology.  They, along with other Marxist civil rights groups, asked the U.N. to monitor our elections as if we are a Third World nation.

In September 2012, the  N.A.A.C.P. appealed to the U.N. Human Rights Council to investigate U.S. voter ID laws in the U.S. The Human Rights Council was planning to appoint Qaddafi to the council until his demise if case you are wondering how relevant they are. Members of the Council include countries like Iran and Cuba.

At the same time, the N.A.A.C.P. went before the U.N. to discuss their case to allow felons to vote. Many states do allow felons to vote – it is a states rights issue.

Their claim before the U.N. at the time was outlined in a paper, “Defending Democracy: Confronting Modern Barriers to Voting Rights i..., which detailed a plethora of alleged voter suppression initiatives, including voter ID laws and the rights of felons to vote. Felons are an issue because of what they say are the large number of African-Americans who are felons. They are also opposed to ACORN practices being questioned. ACORN is a corrupt Marxist organization that now goes by many different names, most of which have the word “change” in them.

They praised Eric Holder’s attempts to block voter ID laws. I guess it is too difficult for them to get a photo ID. Surely, they are insulting themselves beyond belief and have little self-pride to even make such a claim.

They have also gone to the U.N. saying voter ID laws disadvantage transgenders. Imagine having Iran consider this question!

They more recently asked the U.N. to charge George Zimmerman who was found innocent in the Trayvon Martin murder case. They wanted the U.N. to supersede U.S. law. It’s not about our nation of laws for them, it’s about getting what they want.

The election monitoring began in 2012.  Check out the story here.

The U.N. membership includes communists, socialists, dictators, and so on, people whose values run counter to ours. Do we really want them monitoring our elections?

Tennessee is also working on banning ObamaCare and nullifying federal gun control laws. It sounds like a good place to move if you value freedom and are looking for a free place to live. Definitely don’t move to New York.

>>> ARE YOU REFERRING TO " N____S  AIN ' T ACTING LIKE COLORED PEOPLE " ?

The time for my state of Virginia to develop that level of spinal column fortitude is long past due.  What happened in 2012 was a glaring theft of the election for Obama by UN thugs called in to "oversee"/read "RIG" that election.  To hear just how bad it got along those lines. go to you tube and listen to the WMAL broadcast there from election day 2012.  I heard it live that day.  People were being brought in to my Woodbridge precinct and were being allowed to vote multiple times in the same election,  and a caller in to the program that day revealed the same thing was happening on the west coast as well.  When my local GOP was informed about it, they had a panel "look into it" and decided that there was nothing wrong there after all - a great way to get our tail feathers kicked again in subsequent elections.  No WONDER some suggest that the great party of Lincoln and Reagan is currently going suicidal!  This is a disgrace and we are being left as the biggest banana republic on the planet.  WAKE UP, AMERICA, BEFORE WE END UP IN THE ASH HEAP OF HISTORY!

This is because they don't speak the truth. The U.N is corrupt. It wants to dismantle America. I believe in voter I.D. s., this country is like no other on this earth.
The UN has been meddling in our private affairs for decades they need to shovel the crap out of there own backyard an stay out of ours BAN the UN.March on Washington May 16 th O.A.S is counting on every American Now or never

GOD Bless America !!!!

About time.

This country should completely stop any association with the U.N. Those people believe in a one world order society. They have no business monitoring elections in the United States. The U.N. is completely corrupt. God bless the smart patriots in Tennessee.

It's funny how the UN monitors missed all the voter fraud the Democrats committed during the last election.  The UN must be defunded and removed from American soil as a hostile entity.

need to just ban the UN period

I would not allow the UN to do anything in this country and I would give them an eviction notice. BK

The NAACP has been and always will be the most bigoted, racist discriminatory group in the history of the US.  They make the KKK look like a bunch of fourth graders on the school playground.

As far as the UN is concerned, we should have gotten out of that organization of dictators and would-be dictators thirty years ago.

Roger,

We should NEVER HAVE GOTTEN INTO IT, in the first place!  And we should have gotten out 68 years ago, since we got in in the first place.

It is the UN that is the cause of all our misery in this country.  We need to kick them off our soil and get out.  Why are we even affiliated with the UN?  It's nothing but 3rd world countries trying to get us to be the same.  No, we are not the same.  Until we get rid of that vermin, nothing will change.  Yes, we still have to get rid of the crooks in DC, but at least we won't have the UN and all the dictators dictating to us how this country should be run. We want no part of the UN or other countries telling us what to do, when to do it, and how to do it. This is the main sewer hole all our money is going down, to be redistributed to dictator countries.  Not to mention we are serving the muslim hood real well.  We don't have any say in anything let alone where our money is going. That is not the USA.  This needs to change and the next president best kick the UN out. We should have nothing at all to do with them.

Horrible: Democrats Set The Constitution On Fire With Fraudulent Impeachment

House Democrats unveiled two articles of impeachment against President Donald Trump on Tuesday morning after an investigation that violated fundamental provisions of the Constitution and the Bill of Rights.

The investigation of the president began with the complaint of a so-called “whistleblower” who turned out to be a rogue Central Intelligence Agency employee, protected by a lawyer who had called for a “coup” against Trump in early 2017.

Democrats first demanded that the “whistleblower” be allowed to testify. But after House Intelligence Committee chair Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) was found to have lied about his committee’s contact with the “whistleblower,” and after details of the “whistleblower’s” bias began to leak, Democrats reversed course. In violation of the President Trump’s Sixth Amendment right to confront his accuser, Democrats refused to allow the “whistleblower” to testify. They argue the president’s procedural rights, even if they existed, would not apply until he was tried in the Senate — but they also invented a fraudulent “right to anonymity” that, they hope, might conceal the whistleblower even then.

Schiff began the “impeachment inquiry” in secret, behind the closed doors of the Sensitive Compartmentalized Information Facility (SCIF) in the basement of the U.S. Capitol, even though none of the testimony was deemed classified. Few members of Congress were allowed access. Schiff allowed selective bits of testimony to leak to friendly media, while withholding transcripts of testimony.

Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), having allowed the secret process to unfold, legitimized it with a party-line vote authorizing the inquiry. The House resolution denied President Trump the procedural rights enjoyed by Presidents Richard Nixon and Bill Clinton, and denied the minority party the traditional right to object to witnesses called by the majority.

Rather than the House Judiciary Committee, which traditionally handles impeachment, Pelosi also deputized the House Intelligence Committee to conduct fact-finding; the Judiciary Committee was turned into a rubber stamp. Schiff held a few public hearings, but often failed to release transcripts containing exculpatory evidence until after they had passed.

In the course of the Intelligence Committee’s investigation, Schiff quietly spied on the telephone records of his Republican counterpart, Ranking Member Devin Nunes (R-CA). He also snooped on the phone records of a journalist, John Solomon; and on the phone records of former New York City mayor Rudy Giuliani, acting as President Trump’s personal lawyer.

Schiff’s eavesdropping violated both the First Amendment right to press freedom and the Sixth Amendment right to counsel. Yet he proceeded undeterred by constitutional rights, publishing the phone logs in his committee’s report without warning, confirmation, or explanation, alleging that Nunes and the others were part of a conspiracy to assist the president’s allegedly impeachable conduct. When Republicans on the Judiciary Committee asked the Intelligence Committee’s majority counsel, Daniel Goldman, to explain the phone logs, he refused to answer,

Ironically, Schiff had done exactly what Democrats accuse Trump of doing: abused his power to dig up dirt on political opponents, then obstructed a congressional investigation into his party’s and his committee’s misconduct.

Democrats’ articles of impeachment include one for the dubious charge of “abuse of power,” which is not mentioned in the Constitution; and one for “obstruction of Congress,” which in this case is an abuse of power in itself.

Alexander Hamilton, writing about impeachment in Federalist 65, warned that “there will always be the greatest danger that the decision will be regulated more by the comparative strength of parties, than by the real demonstrations of innocence or guilt.” Democrats have fulfilled Hamilton’s worst fears.

The Trump impeachment will soon replace the 1868 impeachment of President Andrew Johnson — which the House Judiciary Committee staff actually cited as a positive precedent — as the worst in American history.

In service of their “coup,” Democrats have trampled the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. The Republic has never been in greater danger.
