This video is part of “Who’s Afraid of Aymann Ismail?,” a series featuring Slate’s Aymann Ismail confronting fears about Muslims. Follow along on Facebook.

It happened at the Republican National Convention last year, and it’s happened at just about every right-wing protest I’ve covered in the past few years: People tell me Sharia law is coming to America. Muslims secretly want to impose their will on all of us. In fact, there are already “no-go zones” in United States, and we must act now to stop them from spreading.

Where do they think this is happening? In places like Dearborn, Michigan, and Dallas, Texas. Dallas in particular has become a center of anti-Sharia protests, inflamed partly by reports from Fox News, Breitbart, and others that an Islamic court had been established there to decree medieval justice in America. The protests were loud enough that Texas passed a bill last summer to ban “foreign law” from being applied.

Could this rogue Islamic court be real? And what evidence led Texas to act? In the episode above, I travel to the real-life Islamic Tribunal in Arlington, Texas, to ask one of its founding imams what he does there. Then I meet with Texas State Rep. Dan Flynn, a Republican who represents a rural district outside Dallas and who sponsored the new legislation. He insists the bill doesn’t target Muslims, but the law’s backstory suggests otherwise.

No, it is you who doesn't understand... Criminal law is not civil law.  The Federal Arbitration Act has been around for nearly 100 yrs.... and you are just now realizing it?  Arbitration may not be used in criminal cases.  Hence, Shari Courts are not able to claim their courts operate under the Federal Arbitration Act.

Arbitration is to be used for non-criminal matters... civil cases.  Rape, robbery, fraud, (criminal cases) remain the sole jurisdiciton of properly authorized and established Criminal Couts.

Arbitration is used to settle cases like divorce, credit card debt, auto accidents, malpractice etc.  Arbitration may not be used to adjudiate violations of criminal law.

The Federal Aribtraiton was created to validate and enforce written provisions or agreements for arbitration of disputes arising out of contracts, maritime transactions, or commerce among the States or Territories or with foreign nations... Civil Cases not Criminal Law.

Federal Arbitration Act - Wikipedia

The United States Arbitration Act, more commonly referred to as the Federal Arbitration Act or FAA, is an act of Congress that provides for judicial facilitation of private dispute resolution through arbitration. It applies in both state courts and federal courts, as was held constitutional in Southland Corp. v. Keating. It applies where the transaction contemplated by the parties "involves" interstate commerce and is predicated on an exercise of the Commerce Clause powers granted to Congress in the commerce clause... it has nothing to do with Criminal Violations ... criminal law.

See more: - Federal Government's Alternative Dispute ...

Key ADR Statutes. The Alternative Dispute Resolution Act of 1998 (ADR Act of 1998) : The ADR Act of 1998 required federal trial courts to make ADR programs available to litigants. The U.S. Court of Federal Claims has an “ADR Automatic Referral Program” in place as a result of the 1998 Act. At the Court of Federal Claims,

The introduction of Shari Law using ADR or Arbitration law is misleading... first, all parties must agree to an ADR or Arbitration process and such cases apply only to CIVIL LAW... contracts, divorce, finance, commerce... all cases of administrative and civil law.  Criminal Law is not subjec to ADR or Arbitraiton.

Under civil rights statutes ... 'separate but equal' agencies of ADR or Arbitraiton would be unlawful. Under Constitutional Law no court except those authorized by Article 3 of the US Constitution may operate in the  United Staes.

Lets see you enforce that to Congress.

My vote will not change Congress on its own... I have very limited impact on Congress, don't look for my views to be popular with the deep state or its agents... I am for Constitutional Government and the Republic our forefather's built... not the NEW WORLD ORDER.

How are you doing Rosie... l hope you are researching a full range of credible sources regarding Sharia Law and its standing with the US Legal System... as it has none... at least not Constitutionally.

I do not know all the facts yet Mr. Nelson, but I did receive the link Tif found, until the investigation is over no news is good news.

I found another state considering pass it.

Passing what... Arbitration law... such law is already available in all states for commercial transactions and civil law... not criminal law.  All courts whether article 3 or others must be AUTHORIZED by the Federal or State Government to be lawful courts.

I know of no current law authorizing Sharia Courts to operate as a separate court... for anything... I hear of their usurpation of the laws and operating without such approval or authority... where the State refuses to act to shut them down... the problem is not the law... it is the lawgivers and our politicians willingly giving cover to illegal Shari Courts... it may be past time for a revolution?

You do try to make people feel it is all good and under in America, with this Khazar operated Gov.............

As previously reported, a black gay escort named Gemmel Moore died of a meth overdose at Ed Buck’s West Hollywood home in July of 2017.

The LA County District Attorney’s Office previously declined to prosecute Ed Buck saying the evidence was “insufficient to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that (Buck) is responsible for the death of Gemmel Moore,” which sparked an outrage from family members and others in the community.

Jasmyne Cannick told FOX and Friends nearly a dozen black men have come forward to speak on their experiences with “serial predator” Ed Buck.
Cannick also went off on the Democrat Party: “Over 77% of black people in California vote Democratic. We vote for Democrats.

It is a shame that when something like this happens, when you have the chair of your state party when at the time of this , Eric Bauman, who was willing to turn a blind eye as well as instruct others not to speak on it. As a black woman, as a black Democrat, I expect more from my party.

Last week, a black male was seen entering Ed Buck’s seedy LA apartment.
