Ryan Works With Pelosi & Schumer To Stall Trump Economic Recovery

Paul Ryan has entered into a secret alliance between himself and other Establishment Republicans in the House as well as Nancy Pelosi and her activist brigade of Democrats. This alliance also extends to Senate Minority Leader, Chuck Schumer, and a mix of Senate Republicans and Democrats as well.

The primary goal? Delay Donald Trump’s agenda. See the economy remain stagnant. Fill seats with moderate (spineless) Republicans come 2018, and declare the Trump agenda dead thereafter.

The first evidence of this tactical delay on the part of Ryan to ensure nothing getting done remains the D.C. status-quo, is to declare almost all attention/energy/focus will be on dealing with “fixing” Obamacare.

Pay attention to the wording. Watch “repeal and replace” become secondary to “fixing.” Ryan intends to initiate a patch-work approach that will take up a great deal of legislative time, receive significant media attention,  but in the end, get little actually accomplished by of way of “repeal and replace.”  In the meantime, the delay in such critical components of the Trump economic recover plan – namely sweeping tax reform, will be further delayed.

In effect, Paul Ryan and his cadre of Establishment Republicans will do to Trump what they rarely appeared willing to do against Barack Obama – namely use the power of the legislature to contain a president’s agenda.

The Federal Government has no Constitutional Authority to be in the Medical Insurance Business...

Repeal the Affordable Care Act (ACA) and forget replacing it with anything... Reform the Insurance laws to permit universal sales of Insurance across State Lines... too, promote competition.  Legislate Health Savings Accounts by creating an IRS Credit for saving dollars for health care. Pass legislation that prohibits private insurance companies from cancelling or raising rates for insurance because of claims on the policy... Pass legislation mandating insurance companies give a ONE TIME wavier for those who purchase private insurance to replace their current ACA policy... Other than that ... do nothing more.

Let the indigent and poor obtain insurance form the State... using Medicaid as the vehicle for insuring the poor.

HI, Ronald!  You will recall the insurance post I ran several years ago.  I had given that to Ted Cruz, as I promised, but when Trump won, I sent it to him also, as I promised.  It was sent to Trump via some avenues with which I was not entirely confident.  I then gave it all to Steve Moore of Heritage Foundation.  I also gave Steve my posting on bringing back businesses to the inner city.  It was three days later and I began to hear Trump say the very things I had written on both matters.  I was pleasantly stunned!  You are exactly correct, Ronald.  The government should NOT be replacing ANYTHING.  That is the job of the private sector.  If replacement is placed in government hands and it all goes well, it won't eventually because it is where the Democrats and the advantageous Republicans can get their hands on it and destroy it.  ANYTHING placed in the hands of government will at some point in time go south.  In my plan, which we all read and on which we all commented, the only things government was to do, was to destroy state boundary barriers on the insurance companies, limit the awards people could gain in suits against the medical profession, and to make a general list of occupations found in the USA.  That would be the beginning and the end of government involvement.  Paul Ryan is a major RINO and is aligned with several Democrats including Pelosi to destroy the idea of repealing BOCare.  The RINOs MUST go!  TTP MUST make a HUGE push on this area.  Loud and vociferous; boisterous!  Ryan feels all too comfortable.  Don't forget how he treated Trump on several occasions.  They are not hand-and-glove by any stretch of the imagination.

Sen Jeff Sessions confirmed as AG 52-47 one democrat crossed over. I have a feeling Hillary just s*it her panties.

I hope your right about Hillary... however, I wouldn't look for anything until Dir. Comey is replaced... Trump must get rid of this man... stories of his cover-ups keep surfacing.  By the way what is he doing about the Clinton Foundation investigation...and the selling of her office for contributions to the foundation?

We knew he would get confirmed.

However, I won't hold my breath on any charges being brought for either Hillary, Bill, Obama, Valerie Jarrett, Eric Holder, Loretta Lynch, or any of the thousands of Barack Obama appointed criminal bureaucrats. That may be a mistake if they are allowed to escape justice. It WILL come back to haunt Trump or America in general.

I don't know....we still keep getting new reports almost daily with more on Clinton and Obama.  I'm hoping once ALL of his cabinet is in place, they'll start doing more investigating and PROSECUTING.

I will "AMEN" that idea!

Let's Roll!

Fact Check:   'Joe Biden Claims ‘We Didn’t Lock People Up In Cages’

CLAIM: Former Vice President Joe Biden claimed, on immigration: “We didn’t lock people up in cages.”

VERDICT: FALSE. The “cages” were built by the Obama-Biden administration.

Univision moderator Jorge Ramos asked Biden at the third Democrat debate at Texas Southern University in Houston, Texas, why Latinos should trust him after the Obama administration continued deporting “undocumented immigrants.”

Biden claimed that the Obama administration’s policies were more humane than those of President Donald Trump: “We didn’t lock people up in cages,” he said.

In fact, the “cages” were built by the Obama administration to deal with a surge of unaccompanied minors who crossed the border illegally in 2014.

Originally, the Obama administration was “warehousing” children — literally — in overwhelmed Border Patrol facilities. Breitbart News broke the story of the surge, which was partly triggered by Obama’s policy of allowing illegal alien children who entered the country as minors to stay in the country (Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals, or DACA).

The above photo was published by the Associated Press in June 2014, and the photo below is of Obama’s Secretary of Homeland Security, Jeh Johnson, touring a Border Patrol facility with “cages.”

The “cages” are chain-link enclosures in Border Patrol processing facilities that are meant to protect children from adults in custody. They are not permanent accommodations.

In mid-2018, as the Trump administration began enforcing a “zero tolerance” policy that stopped the “catch-and-release” policy of letting illegal aliens go after they were arrested. Detaining adults and children meant that children had to be processed separately; the enclosures prevented adults from harming children.

As Breitbart News reported at the time, children were not housed in “cages.” They were processed and then taken to shelters, where they were given medical care, toiletries, education, recreation, and counseling, and where staff attempted to find relatives or sponsors to whom they could be released.

Democrats began tweeting images of “kids in cages” to condemn the Trump administration. Journalists, too, shared those images.

One problem: they were taken during the Obama administration.

Public outrage at the images led President Trump to end the policy, and require families to be detained together.

Democrats keep repeating the mistake, however: in July, they had to delete a tweet that used an image from the Obama era and cited the “inhumane treatment” of children by the Trump administration.

Republicans argue that not detaining illegal aliens is actually the cruel policy, because it encourages migrants to undertake a dangerous journey, often guided by cartels and smugglers.

As Breitbart News’ Alana Mastrangelo noted recently:

But what’s worse than “cages,” however, are reports of migrant children also being handed over to human traffickers during the Obama administration — while Biden was vice president — according to the New York Times. Between October 2013 and July 2015 alone, nearly 80,000 unaccompanied children from Central American countries were detained by U.S. authorities.

It remains unclear how many of the tens of thousands of children were handed over to human traffickers — including sex traffickers — during that span of nearly two years, as those cases are reportedly not tracked.

“Others were ransomed by the very smugglers to whom their families paid thousands of dollars to sneak them into the United States,” reported the New York Times in 2015, during Obama’s presidency and Biden’s vice presidency. “Some lost limbs during the journey or found themselves sold into sexual slavery.”

Biden told voters in South Carolina last month that he would close all border detention facilities, guaranteeing that the migrant flow would continue.
