Rep. Allen West: Democratic group is Communist

Rep. Allen West, R-Fla., had initially declined to name names when he said "he's heard" that up to 80 House Democrats are members of the Communist Party.

Now, his office says West was referring to the Congressional Progressive Caucus when the freshman Tea Party favorite made his remark at a town hall meeting Tuesday night.

Here's the West statement, sent to the CBS affiliate in Miami:

The Congressman was referring to the 76 members of the Congressional Progressive Caucus. The Communist Party has publicly referred to the Progressive Caucus as its allies. The Progressive Caucus speaks for itself. These individuals certainly aren't proponents of free markets or individual economic freedom.

We called Rep. Raul Grijalva, D-Ariz., a co-chairman of the progressive caucus, for a response. The Florida Democratic Party sent out an e-mail with a round up of clips about the West remark.

I saw this several years ago. At that time the caucus was listed on the Democratic Socialist web site. It showed all the names of the representatives who were members. I have been telling everyone who would listen....the names and links have since been removed!

 I just recieved a list of these members,i will look through my clutter and try to attach it. The list is stunning. If our so-called smart elected official know all about what racism is,or bigotry,then why is there a congressional group that only one race is allowed,the black caucus,is this not racism straight up,in our house-THE PEOPLES HOUSE ! Right now 70% of pregnancies of women in russia end in abortion.  And if they cannot afford the abortion and end up having a child, it is thrown out of the house by 4 or 5 yrs old and live on the streets.  they have packs of kids living on streets, no where to go and hungry.  Alcoholism is so bad too. vodka.  These poor russian people have been raped by the soviet UNIONS and then left to deal with the mental illness by these thugs of oppression. They are struggling. But the church is there and trying to help. The church is welcome and striving in areas.

  Now the UNIONS are in Europe!  And in USA!    We have to dismantle the fed and unions whether they like it or not!  Then We the People will have our power back!  The Good Book.  The Word of God is power for the People.

I don't understand why they get offended when anyone calls them out for communist views, yet the parade around spouting off their socialist views.
I think Rep. West is a very bright, and concerned American. Hope he continues to. be a voice for the citizens he serves and his Country he defended in military service.

And yet there are so many instant billionaires in Russia - and, just coincidentally, so many raids on American banks - Bank of New York, TDF, etc.  Kind of funny when the person who opens your account speaks Russian better than she speaks English - and you're opening an account because the Russian gangsters closed your last one!

In addition 70 openly belong to the Socialist party.  Is this not treason...impeachable, and punishable by hanging...if I racall?!  Why is nothing done, and why is this allowed to continue?  Do we have a death wish in this Country?
