Presidential Proclamation -- Bill of Rights Day, 2013



When America's Founders declared our independence, they set forth an idea that became our Nation's defining creed: "We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness." They understood that while these truths have always been self-evident, they have never been self-executing. After 15 years of democratic experimentation and national debate, the Bill of Rights came into force, touching off a long journey to carve America's highest ideals into enduring, enforceable law.

The Bill of Rights is the foundation of American liberty, securing our most fundamental rights -- from the freedom to speak, assemble, and practice our faith as we please to the protections that ensure justice under the law. For almost two and a quarter centuries, these 10 Constitutional Amendments have served as a basis from which civil society could grow and flourish. They have encouraged innovation and defended Americans who questioned, challenged, and dared our Nation to be greater.

Thomas Jefferson once wrote, "I am not an advocate for frequent changes in laws and constitutions, but laws and constitutions must go hand in hand with the progress of the human mind." Our liberties opened heated debate over the questions of citizenship and human rights, driving progress in the American mind. We learned that our Nation, built on the principles of freedom and equality, could not survive half-slave and half-free. We resolved that our daughters must have the same rights, the same chances, and the same freedom to pursue their dreams as our sons, and that if we are truly created equal, then the love we commit to one another must be equal as well. Americans with disabilities tore down legal and social barriers; disenfranchised farmworkers united to claim their rights to dignity, fairness, and a living wage; civil rights activists marched, bled, and gave their lives to bring the era of segregation to an end. As we celebrate the anniversary of the Bill of Rights, let us reach for a day when we all may enjoy the basic truths of liberty and equality.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, BARACK OBAMA, President of the United States of America, by virtue of the authority vested in me by the Constitution and the laws of the United States, do hereby proclaim December 15, 2013, as Bill of Rights Day. I call upon the people of the United States to mark this observance with appropriate ceremonies and activities.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand this thirteenth day of December, in the year of our Lord two thousand thirteen, and of the Independence of the United States of America the two hundred and thirty-eighth.

What it is coming down to is that we must defy the so called "executive orders" that are so blatantly Unconstitutional!  Defy anything like this, defy attempting to sign up for oblameacare!  Defy defy defy defy and oppose!

Joe, do not trust him. He has proved how untrustworthy he is, so it's way too late to listen to him now.

What did he set his hand on--the bible?  No that's not right.  Must have been that Allah book.  Really means a lot when Obama speaks, never know the truth from another lie.  If he told me it was raining I'd check the roof and make sure Zeke was standing up there.

Just might be a good day to take the country back.

This man loves his Proclamations. Too bad we don't promote to King. Then, they could be Imperial Decrees.

Mr. Obama, you are miss addressing the entire purpose of this document. It is for we the people not the government of these United States. You personally and your administration are  raping and pillaging the peoples of this great country. You take our money, waste it and use it to imprison the hard working people of this country. We left the European establishment over two hundred years ago because of improper taxation without proper representation. 

In these United States of America December 13, 2012, you have completely gone against the intent of Constitution of these United States and continually lie to the people which you are said to be representing and protecting.

You have no right to speak of our constitution, as daily you abuse and take more and more rights away from we the people. The constitution was written to provide more rights not take them away.  Health cares is not a entitlement nor is a responsibility of the federal government. It is a part of commerce and the government has not been give the right to manage or over see commerce based activities upon the constitution of these United States. All commerce is to be dealt with at the State level, not the Federal level. The Federal Government; "you" are stepping well over the boundaries for your rights and the power of your granted office.

Therefore, the power vest in me as a full blooded citizen in these United States I am using by the grace of God almighty, giving me power to ask you to stand down and give up the Presidency of these United States as you continue to prove that you do not have the skills, integrity, honor, or the knowledge to run this country in the way that our forefathers intended based upon the constitution. As the power that has been vested in me as a natural born United States Citizen, I am executing my rights,  requesting you to step down and release your power as the president of the United States of America. I now ask the other dually qualified citizens to stand up behind me and request the same as legal natural born citizens, continuing these actions until we have  a quorum and at such time you will be properly removed from the office of the President of the United States.

You have no authority to make changes or instate orders, commands, or instructions that contradict  constitutional law. Over the past year you have breached the constitution on many occasions and the congress and the senate have not called you out on these matters.

Well as a citizen of these United States I have the right and the responsibility to call you out. Therefore I am doing my duty to call you out opening the door for other citizens to do the same. And I am asking you to step down from offive, this 12-13-2013 at 6:06 PM California time.

I hope this gets to the White house! I also took an oath, in fact several times to defend the Constitution from all enemies, even if they think they are president. Read this Obama! I agree get out of the office you stole.

Florida Sheriff — “I Will Not Enforce Assault Weapons Ban, Neither Will Most Sheriffs”

Dennis Lemma, who is the Sheriff in Central Florida’s Seminole County, told a group of 2nd Amendment activists recently that he would not enforce an assault weapons ban that could soon become Florida law if the “Ban Assault Weapons Now” amendment passes in the Sunshine State.

According to News965, the ban has the following specifications.

The amendment proposed in the state legislature would ban possession of assault weapons, which are defined as “semiautomatic rifles and shotguns capable of holding more than 10 rounds of ammunition at once, either in fixed or detachable magazine, or any other ammunition feeding device.”

Lemma, an ardent supporter of the 2nd Amendment and a first term sheriff who is running for re-election, said this about whether or not he would enforce such a law.

“It’s not only that I wouldn’t, the majority of sheriffs across the state would not do it,” Lemma said in the video. It’s up to the sheriffs what they are willing to enforce.”
