Oversight Committee Pursues Charges Against Clinton IT Aide Who Received DOJ Immunity

The House Oversight and Government Reform Committee is pursuing charges against Bryan Pagliano, the architect of Hillary Clinton’s email system who ignored subpoenas to testify in front of Congress last year.

Utah Rep. Jason Chaffetz, the Republican chairman of the committee, asked Attorney General Jeff Sessions in a letter Thursday to convene a grand jury to pursue charges against Pagliano in the matter.

“The authority to compel witnesses is integral to Congress’s and the Committee’s investigative powers,” Chaffetz stated in the referral.

“Allowing Mr. Pagliano’s conduct to go unaddressed would gravely harm Congress’s ability to conduct oversight. This letter details the Committee’s significant efforts to work with Pagliano and his attorneys to avoid the necessity of a criminal referral — including giving Pagliano a second opportunity to show up after first failing to appear.”

Pagliano was subpoenaed by Congress to testify on Sept. 13 and Sept. 22 but failed to up to the hearings. The Oversight Committee then voted to hold Pagliano in contempt of Congress.

Pagliano worked for Clinton at the State Department. There, he set up and maintained her secret email system, on which classified information was stored.

He received limited immunity from the Justice Department in exchange for his cooperation in the email investigation, which explored whether classified information was mishandled but ended with no charges filed against Clinton or anyone else.

Prior to cooperating with federal investigators, Pagliano pleaded the Fifth during an interview with the House Select Committee on Benghazi.

He was found in contempt.  So how come he was never arrested by the sergeant-at arms?  That's supposed to be the next step.

The Sergeant-at arms doesn't have jurisdiction to arrest outside of the Capitol... Pagliano is avoiding any scheduled appearances in the Capitol.  With a new AG and President... the FBI or the US Marshall service can be used to arrest and hold Pagliano in Contempt of Congress.

We The People now have a LEGAL sitting US President and a DOJ that follows US Constitutional law . Gail Hillary Rotten Clinton for treason !

His immunity is only good if he has told the truth... AND cooperates with ALL GOVERNMENT AGENCIES in connection with the immunity grant... that includes Congress.  He has not cooperated with Congress and his immunity should be void.  Congress needs to ask the DOJ to prosecute any crimes that may have been previously unavailable due to the immunity agreement... which is now void... as he has not cooperated with all government agencies in this investigation.

Col Nelson,

Just curious, as I usually always read your posts.  Did you get your knowledge of the government in your job as a Col or outside.  You seem to know a lot about the law in these situations.

Thank you,

Sally

Sally,

My knowledge comes from years of experience... in dealing with various government agencies, and the law as they applies to administering civil service employees.  I am not an attorney and my legal opinions are not meant too be legal advice.

I will not be coming to DC in March... I don't see how that will help. I will attend rallies locally and work with my Federal Representative too make my views known regarding the need to drain the swamp... which should be our number 1 priority.

of another young black gay escort was found at the West Hollywood home of Ed Buck, a top Democrat donor and political activist.

As previously reported, a black gay escort named Gemmel Moore died of a meth overdose at Ed Buck’s West Hollywood home in July of 2017.

The LA County District Attorney’s Office previously declined to prosecute Ed Buck saying the evidence was “insufficient to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that (Buck) is responsible for the death of Gemmel Moore,” which sparked an outrage from family members and others in the community.

Jasmyne Cannick told FOX and Friends nearly a dozen black men have come forward to speak on their experiences with “serial predator” Ed Buck.
Cannick also went off on the Democrat Party: “Over 77% of black people in California vote Democratic. We vote for Democrats.

It is a shame that when something like this happens, when you have the chair of your state party when at the time of this , Eric Bauman, who was willing to turn a blind eye as well as instruct others not to speak on it. As a black woman, as a black Democrat, I expect more from my party.

Last week, a black male was seen entering Ed Buck’s seedy LA apartment.
