Obama to Push Nearly 100 New Regulations Before Leaving Office

Image result for red tapeThe Obama administration is preparing to give the middle finger to the American electorate by ignoring the results of the recently held election and continuing with Obama's efforts to "transform" America.

The president has been unable to effect much transformation via Congress, so he has once again picked up his pen and is readying a dizzying array of new regulations from a dozen different agencies that will massively increase the burden on American business.

Seventeen of the planned regulations are classified as "economically significant," meaning their impact will be at least $100 million on business.

Politico:

Regulations on commodities speculation, air pollution from the oil industry, doctors’ Medicare drug payments and high-skilled immigrant workers are among the rules moving through the pipeline as Obama’s administration grasps at one last chance to cement his legacy. So are regulations tightening states’ oversight of online colleges and protecting funding for Planned Parenthood.

Also moving ahead are negotiations on an investment treaty with China and decisions by the Education Department on whether to offer debt relief to students at defunct for-profit colleges. The Department of Transportation may also go ahead with a ban on cellphone calls on commercial flights and a rule requiring that most freight trains have at least two crew members on duty.

Some agencies are pulling back, fearful that Trump and the GOP-led Congress will use a seldom-invoked legislative tool to permanently wipe out their 11th-hour regulations. For example, the Interior Department has failed to release a long-awaited rule to protect streams from coal mining pollution — and indications are it might never issue it.

Yes mam, I did see this, one of the members here all ready posted this, Obama and CFR has been very busy.

What's the use for Obama to do this?,TRUMP has already said he is going to shut down everything Obama has done,Obama is not very bright, his Executive Orders were not Ratified by Congress so they are not legal,by passing Congress  has wasted more  time for the worst President in our history, his threats and thugery has given him a Legacy of total failure.

No matter what they are, dump all of them, don't bother reading them just dump them

Would not surprise me if obumer tries to stay planted in the white house.

The thing I regret the most about 0bama pres is that I and the country lost 8 good years to get the county out of debt and back on a moral footing with THE PEOPLE back in control. Instead we got the exact opposite.

Trump can abolish all of them Obama is a little dictator.

We sure need that last one, protect streams from coal mining. This is sure needed in PA & WV I am sure Trump would agree. I remember the Schuylkill River was black with coal and now it is clear and used by Philadelphia as part of there water supply,

         WE REALLY NEED THIS ONE,

Child's Play, just thinking up things, to attempt to make Americans more miserable, this Garbage is temporary, as Trump will nullify this.   Yuck, when will be free of this creature?

The man is sooo into complete denial.  He can write up a storm until his fingers bunch up and his hand spasms.  Anything he writes will be repealed, overwritten, thrown in the trash as soon as Trump is inaugurated.  This is some last ditch effort to convince his people he's in control? Yeah, right.  Especially these executive orders....Trump can get rid of ALL of them with one simple EO...and he has every intention of doing so.

No reason for Trump to even read any of Obama's pen strokes, just cancel, delete, consider them all null and void, penned by the most destructive criminal in our history. Call Waste Management, ask for large trash bin to be delivered, fill it up with everything linking to the Obama's, include as many staff that will fit.

A wasted effort.  Trump will eliminate them..

Deep State Treason:  Former State Dept. Official Under Trump Tells China To Quit Negotiating Until Trump Is Removed In 2020

Deep state traitors no longer hide their deep hatred for the American people —

Mrs. Susan Thornton, the former acting assistant secretary of state in the Trump administration, told her Beijing audience to stop negotiating until President Trump is removed from office in 2020.

Until July 2018, she was Acting Assistant Secretary for East Asian and Pacific Affairs at the Department of State and led East Asia policy making amid crises with North Korea, escalating trade tensions with China, and a fast-changing international environment.

The Conservative Treehouse and The South China Morning News reported:

A former official in the Trump administration has said that China can weather the storm brought by the trade war with the United States but might have to “keep steady, keep their heads down and wait” for change in the White House.

Susan Thornton, former acting assistant secretary of state to US President Donald Trump, told a gathering in Shanghai on Wednesday that she hoped a trade deal between the US and China could be concluded by next month.

But the reality was that it would “take a while” for China and the US to talk about cooperation again, Thornton, who in 20 years rose to become the US State Department’s chief negotiator for East Asia and Pacific affairs, told the South China Morning Post.

“I want to be optimistic,” said Thornton, whose 27-year career in Washington ended in July. “I tell all our foreign counterparts they should keep steady, keep their heads down and wait. [They should] try to not let anything change dramatically.”

“If this sceptical attitude towards talking diplomacy continues in this administration, you might have to wait till another administration,” Thornton said at an event held by National Committee of US-China relations and Shanghai’s American Chamber.
