Obama Blames Washington Gridlock, Partisanship On Family, Daughters

by Tony Lee 2 Sep 2012

President Barack Obama is partly blaming his family and children for his inability to lessen Washington’s partisanship and gridlock during his first term.

On CNN’s “State of the Union” Sunday show, Jessica Yellin said she interviewed Obama for a forthcoming documentary and asked him why he did not do more outreach to Republicans in the beginning of his term to bridge the divides Obama often rails against.

Yellin said Obama told her one of the reasons he did not was because he wanted to spend more time at home with his kids and family.

"He was trying to spend some time at home with his family in the evenings and on the weekends,” Yellin said.

Yellin noted Obama suggested things may be different in the second term when his kids are older.

“If this was such a priority, why didn’t he do it?,” Yellin asked. “You can carve out one night a week to go out and socialize and reach across the aisle.”

I find this deplorable. It's everybody else's fault that he can't get anything done. And Now he blames his girls? His family?

Right on !!!

I second that, and to Ann also.  Oblamer is as bad as a 9 year old kid always blaming and making excuses, NEVER taking responsibility.  He won't take responsibility because all of his failed policies are for "planned" Socialist Government.

I can't stomach this lier. He is on the golf course while mowshelle and the girls are spending our hard earned money on vacation, having parties, going to concerts. Give me a break. What about the single mom that works 2 jobs just to get by. What of the Dad's that work 60 something hours a week to support their family. I am sick to death of this piece of scum. Anyone who votes for this piece of scum is responsible for destroying what is left our our country.

I agree Ann. We need to kick these negro opportunists out of office and elect a true American before it is too late.

After four years, he is now trying to make himself out as a family man. He saw how people reacted to Romney’s message about caring for families. However, the American people know that his idea of taking care of only his family is sending them on expensive vacations at tax payer’s expense.

That's what I kinda thought, that maybe this is politically calculated. If you've seen some of the stories about Romneys life, it shows how Romney is genuinely a loving and caring father and husband. Many have stepped forward and talked about how giving and caring Romney is as a person in his community, for many many years. I think Obama is trying to perceive that same image, but it just back-fired.

Did his pants catch fire.

NO, but I will bet his ears are burning.

He is a pathological liar.Besides Republican leaders are a short phone call away. How long would it take to call one of them and say "hey lets get together"all of 2 minutes.A true leader  would take responsibility for his actions. He makes me sick. I watched him speak in 08 and have to say I was impressed but if I see him speak now I immediately switch channels and ask me if I will watch him at the DNC. F NO!

He might have had more time to spend with his family but Michelle was to busy taking vacations around the world on the taxpayers dime.

Florida Sheriff — “I Will Not Enforce Assault Weapons Ban, Neither Will Most Sheriffs”

Dennis Lemma, who is the Sheriff in Central Florida’s Seminole County, told a group of 2nd Amendment activists recently that he would not enforce an assault weapons ban that could soon become Florida law if the “Ban Assault Weapons Now” amendment passes in the Sunshine State.

According to News965, the ban has the following specifications.

The amendment proposed in the state legislature would ban possession of assault weapons, which are defined as “semiautomatic rifles and shotguns capable of holding more than 10 rounds of ammunition at once, either in fixed or detachable magazine, or any other ammunition feeding device.”

Lemma, an ardent supporter of the 2nd Amendment and a first term sheriff who is running for re-election, said this about whether or not he would enforce such a law.

“It’s not only that I wouldn’t, the majority of sheriffs across the state would not do it,” Lemma said in the video. It’s up to the sheriffs what they are willing to enforce.”
