Subject: Letter to the Editor, Operation American Spring
Date: Sun, 4 May 2014 22:58:09 -0400

On May 16th, many Americans will come to Washington D.C. to take part in Operation American Spring, a peaceful protest with the goal of demanding the resignation of the corrupt leadership in our government. They feel the need to do so because President Obama is acting like a dictator, by passing congress and advancing his socialist agenda through government agencies such as the EPA, and executive orders.

Our congress has become weak. The Supreme Court did not follow the Constitution in allowing the indefinite detention of Americans without trial to remain the law by not hearing the case brought by Hedges, a news reporter. There are no more checks and balances. The IRS was used to target Tea Party groups and religious groups; individuals were audited and forced to spend thousands of dollars to defend themselves.

POLL: Do you believe that Congress is for sale to the highest special interest group bidder?

Local police departments are becoming militarized, and capitol police shot and killed an unarmed woman in the back as she was fleeing. Election fraud was rampant in the 2008 and 2012 elections. When states pass voter ID laws, the Justice Department says they are discriminatory. Same day registration and voting is allowed.

Main stream media don't report all the facts, the few that do are criticized by the president. Recently an FCC whistleblower revealed plans for government monitoring of news media. After the revelation, the plan was stopped. Department of Homeland Security has added constitutionalists, people who believe in liberty, and survivalists to its terrorist watch list. It has been given a billion bullets, some are hollow point, which are banned by the Geneva Convention.

Military has written scenarios where the Tea Party are the insurgents. The EPA unilaterally took a million acres from the state of Wyoming and gave them to Northern Arapaho tribes. Obama can order drone strikes on his authority alone. The Declaration of Independence gives the people the right to abolish a despotic government and institute new government. Operation American Spring aims to do that, in a peaceful protest.

A lot of info is contained in this letter, perhaps a bit much to digest.  While there is a lot of material, some items seem a bit vague.  This is especially the case where people have not been previously informed; due to the black out of the lame stream media on anything that might look bad for Obama and his administration.

Carolan, You raise some good points- about people not understanding what I am talking about. I already sent the letter, as there is a deadline today for the weeklies, and I had received enough positive comments that I went ahead. I had thought about the fact that some may not understand the situations, like the capitol police shooting the woman (MSM basically said she was in the wrong! Misreporting as usual) but I thought some might have wondered about their response being over the top and it would illustrate the "military approach" the police are taking. The government confiscation of part of Wyoming I am sure they don't know about, but those interested might look it up. The letter can't go above 350 words, and I wanted to state enough abuses, hopefully the NDAA and Drone strike issue will resonate with some (except die hard Obot, which unfortunately CT has many!)

Louise Barnes, I think it is great that you sent in the letter.  Perhaps we could use letters to the editor more as a back door approach to getting coverage on items the Leftist, lame stream media have been avoiding.  Thank you for taking the time to inform people of this important event and to garner support.  God bless those going to OAS and God bless America, in Jesus' name, Amen!

Louise, your letter is well written and in my heart I support it 100%. With that said, if the goal of OAS is to have all of the corrupt leaders in our Government to resign, my mind says we won't come close to reaching it. Now if the OAS Goal was to motivate the American People to get out and vote the corrupt leadership out of our Government, then, I would give it over 50% in reaching it!

Neither we, the Tea Party, or the RNC, have decided on what we should run on.

We, the Tea Party, have been portrayed by the media as the Party of No! So, is our theme going to be " DEMANDING CORRUPT LEADERS IN OUR GOVERNMENT TO BE REMOVED?

Within the last two weeks, I have received a letter and a email from the RNC asking which of the following 15 to 20 issues were important to me? They have no theme to motivate their base and when I use the word motivate, I am NOT talking about getting off of the couch and casting a vote.

In 2008 the Democrats Theme was Hope and Change and blame everything bad in the USA on Bush!

A quote from. RONALD REAGAN

The above could be a winning Theme! We could make up different signs and make one small change; change the word Government to BLM, IRS, ATF, EPA, DEA, HCA, NSA, TWA, STATE DEPARTMENT, ETC. Run ads like the video of the BLM at Bundy's Ranch with the caption, I'M FROM THE BLM AND I'M HERE TO HELP!

I believe in God just wanted to state that up front, And agree that we need God back in our country  we have diffenetly lost Our way it is quite apperant. But rember God is Not going to fight the batteles for us , He has given us the means and the tools and the knowlodge to do it our selves. Rember when Jeses was asked when will the father save us, he answered by ( telling the story about the flood and the man  who asked God why he did not save him and God replied when the water rose i sent a man to tell you to get out and you said i"m waiting for God to save me,     then the water rose more and the neighbor with his camel came and asked you to leave you said No God will save me, then the water rose more and i sent You a man with a boat and still you refused, ) ( God to the man iI did try to save you 3times -and you refused my help because You Could Not See). i Guess you some times need to stop talking and listen to see !!!! he gave us our constutition and it tells us how and what we need to do to take it back a blue print peaceful regrease, and if that and all else fails God and the founders and forfathers gave us that as well it's called a Gun, Listen You will Know When.!!!!!!!

We are the spirit of God and without God we have no spirit. This country is the spirit of God without God this country has no spirit. He gave David a sling and he defeated the giant. Without God behind David he would have been defeated. That's why we need to get God back into America!!

FLASH, FLASH, FLASH! It's official TREY GAWDY has been selected to head up the Special Committee on Bengazie and Senator Ted Cruz would like to see it be a Joint Committee!

Pray for the patriots going to DC.

We are at the tipping point and they need all the support we can give.

Hello, Brothers and Sisters!

I just recently found this organization and it feels like an excellent pro-active group.   I want desperately to attend Operation American Spring in Wash, DC on April 16 but I can't drive.   However, I can offer some gas money.

Can anyone give me a ride?   I live near Gettysburg, PA.

If you know of anyone you can pass this along to, I'd really appreciate it.

Now that the weather's great, I'll be resuming my local, peaceful demonstrating.

Thanks loads,

Teri Varga

McSherrystown, PA

I would go and be a part of Operation American Spring but I really don't think its a good idea for me to be close enough to take a shot.

Oh my!!! This is going to be a peaceful march or watch, no weapons will be involved!!

Horrible: Democrats Set The Constitution On Fire With Fraudulent Impeachment

House Democrats unveiled two articles of impeachment against President Donald Trump on Tuesday morning after an investigation that violated fundamental provisions of the Constitution and the Bill of Rights.

The investigation of the president began with the complaint of a so-called “whistleblower” who turned out to be a rogue Central Intelligence Agency employee, protected by a lawyer who had called for a “coup” against Trump in early 2017.

Democrats first demanded that the “whistleblower” be allowed to testify. But after House Intelligence Committee chair Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) was found to have lied about his committee’s contact with the “whistleblower,” and after details of the “whistleblower’s” bias began to leak, Democrats reversed course. In violation of the President Trump’s Sixth Amendment right to confront his accuser, Democrats refused to allow the “whistleblower” to testify. They argue the president’s procedural rights, even if they existed, would not apply until he was tried in the Senate — but they also invented a fraudulent “right to anonymity” that, they hope, might conceal the whistleblower even then.

Schiff began the “impeachment inquiry” in secret, behind the closed doors of the Sensitive Compartmentalized Information Facility (SCIF) in the basement of the U.S. Capitol, even though none of the testimony was deemed classified. Few members of Congress were allowed access. Schiff allowed selective bits of testimony to leak to friendly media, while withholding transcripts of testimony.

Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), having allowed the secret process to unfold, legitimized it with a party-line vote authorizing the inquiry. The House resolution denied President Trump the procedural rights enjoyed by Presidents Richard Nixon and Bill Clinton, and denied the minority party the traditional right to object to witnesses called by the majority.

Rather than the House Judiciary Committee, which traditionally handles impeachment, Pelosi also deputized the House Intelligence Committee to conduct fact-finding; the Judiciary Committee was turned into a rubber stamp. Schiff held a few public hearings, but often failed to release transcripts containing exculpatory evidence until after they had passed.

In the course of the Intelligence Committee’s investigation, Schiff quietly spied on the telephone records of his Republican counterpart, Ranking Member Devin Nunes (R-CA). He also snooped on the phone records of a journalist, John Solomon; and on the phone records of former New York City mayor Rudy Giuliani, acting as President Trump’s personal lawyer.

Schiff’s eavesdropping violated both the First Amendment right to press freedom and the Sixth Amendment right to counsel. Yet he proceeded undeterred by constitutional rights, publishing the phone logs in his committee’s report without warning, confirmation, or explanation, alleging that Nunes and the others were part of a conspiracy to assist the president’s allegedly impeachable conduct. When Republicans on the Judiciary Committee asked the Intelligence Committee’s majority counsel, Daniel Goldman, to explain the phone logs, he refused to answer,

Ironically, Schiff had done exactly what Democrats accuse Trump of doing: abused his power to dig up dirt on political opponents, then obstructed a congressional investigation into his party’s and his committee’s misconduct.

Democrats’ articles of impeachment include one for the dubious charge of “abuse of power,” which is not mentioned in the Constitution; and one for “obstruction of Congress,” which in this case is an abuse of power in itself.

Alexander Hamilton, writing about impeachment in Federalist 65, warned that “there will always be the greatest danger that the decision will be regulated more by the comparative strength of parties, than by the real demonstrations of innocence or guilt.” Democrats have fulfilled Hamilton’s worst fears.

The Trump impeachment will soon replace the 1868 impeachment of President Andrew Johnson — which the House Judiciary Committee staff actually cited as a positive precedent — as the worst in American history.

In service of their “coup,” Democrats have trampled the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. The Republic has never been in greater danger.

You don't get to interrupt me
