On May 16th, many Americans will come to Washington D.C. to take part in Operation American Spring, a peaceful protest with the goal of demanding the resignation of the corrupt leadership in our government. They feel the need to do so because President Obama is acting like a dictator, by passing congress and advancing his socialist agenda through government agencies such as the EPA, and executive orders.

Our congress has become weak. The Supreme Court did not follow the Constitution in allowing the indefinite detention of Americans without trial to remain the law by not hearing the case brought by Hedges, a news reporter. There are no more checks and balances. The IRS was used to target Tea Party groups and religious groups; individuals were audited and forced to spend thousands of dollars to defend themselves.

POLL: Do you believe that Congress is for sale to the highest special interest group bidder?

Local police departments are becoming militarized, and capitol police shot and killed an unarmed woman in the back as she was fleeing. Election fraud was rampant in the 2008 and 2012 elections. When states pass voter ID laws, the Justice Department says they are discriminatory. Same day registration and voting is allowed.

Main stream media don't report all the facts, the few that do are criticized by the president. Recently an FCC whistleblower revealed plans for government monitoring of news media. After the revelation, the plan was stopped. Department of Homeland Security has added constitutionalists, people who believe in liberty, and survivalists to its terrorist watch list. It has been given a billion bullets, some are hollow point, which are banned by the Geneva Convention.

Military has written scenarios where the Tea Party are the insurgents. The EPA unilaterally took a million acres from the state of Wyoming and gave them to Northern Arapaho tribes. Obama can order drone strikes on his authority alone. The Declaration of Independence gives the people the right to abolish a despotic government and institute new government. Operation American Spring aims to do that, in a peaceful protest.

Our government is or should I say has become an oppressive monstrosity that cares only about it's tyrannical power to control the people. It has only gotten worse since our present administration. They hate the Constitution and what it stands for.

DWIGHT: This defines the Dictionary of the oblamea regime. Not only does he hate the Constitution he has done endruns around it to further the tinpot dictattas agenda. Olblameacare is a good example:  Force it down the American People's throats whether we want it or not (WE DON'T!)  I still believe that oblamea is aiding and abetting the Muslim Brotherhood, and the fast n furious scandle, if the truth is revealed may point to an International Weapons Trafficing scheme by the regime, to supply the Muslimbros, oblameas "best friends."

This letter accurately describes the need for OAS..   Nuff Said.......

AMEN and all that can be there and are God fearing Americans needs to be there!!!!

This is well written and expresses my opinion.

Dear Louise,

On June 2, 1979, one man stood up against an oppressive regime, and he won. He did so by telling a very large audience (hundreds of thousands of people) to remember who they are, and what they value. The response of that audience united them in their understanding that those who opposed them were weak and that everything they based their power on was a lie. We, too, in America, can unite millions of people around an understanding of who we are, and what we value. We can reinstate our rule of law and our Constitution on November 4, 2014. We can stand up to the bullies who are trying to criminalize our freedoms, especially our freedoms of speech and religion.

The three words that won the day on June 2, 1979, were "We Want God," and those three words are an answer to the stress in our country. The stress exists because organized atheism is bullying organized Christianity. When this same stress existed in the Soviet Union, Christians began standing up to atheism on June 2, 1979, by saying in unison “We Want God.” Because of that stance, they caused the Soviet Union to collapse within ten years, marking the end of organized atheism in the governing bodies of Eastern Europe. Peggy Noonan of the Wall Street Journal documented that story under the title "We Want God."

The regime of organized atheism that ruled in Eastern Europe for more than 40 years used oppressive bureaucracies and armed forces to impose its rule. In the United States of America, the many factions of organized atheism are abusing the rule of law to chip away at the religious freedoms traditionally enjoyed by organized Christianity. This process of ‘death by a thousand cuts’ is sanctioned, even encouraged, by a regime that is imposing the rule of Big Government on our country through the use of oppressive bureaucracies. So far, this process does not include the use of armed forces.

Here is how we can turn the tide and stop the bullying of Organized Christianity in our country. In November, elect only those candidates whom you can trust to become servants of the people, not bullies of the people. Elect only those candidates whom you can trust to take Big Government Bureaucracy out of our homes and out of our private lives.

Stand up to the bullies. Tell them “We Want God.”

Fred Denny

I agree Fred to get this country back we need God back in it. Yes tell them "We the Christians" "We want God" because without God this Great Nation will not survive.

God is in charge of OAS, all of the main "guys" are Chrisitians and counting on God to bring success. The spirit in which it been organized and its way to obtain the goals set forth are God guided. Faith is action people.

I fully believe this to be true.

Fred, by using those three words, " WE WANT GOD", will bring down the Glory of God, He is just waiting to hear Americans in unison call on HIM!  Our Founders knew GOD, they never left God out of anything.  America is chosen by God, as Israel is chosen by God.  But when the people start turning away, He steps out and lets the people suffer their choice.  HE gave us the option of "choice" to love Him or not, when we choose other than Him, He steps out of the way and removes His blessing.   "WE WANT GOD" should be the shout heard around the world on May 16th.  If you remember, on the day Egyptians revolted, their shouts of Allah, changed to Yeshaw and continues today.

To F. Denny........But who truly can you be certain are trustworthy for God's sake? You think people voted for canidates they DIDN'T trust?

Margie, my thoughts too. Though I love the sentiment I will say that:

Many swore they were trustworthy, Many promised transparency and all took the oath to preserve the Constitution and defend it. Look what we ended up with !

We must become more united and with direction.

ALERT ALERT

OMG!!! Ruth Bader Ginsburg Voted Best Real-Life Hero At MTV Awards

Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg on Monday was crowned the best real-life hero at the MTV Movie & TV Awards.

The 86-year old judge — whose 2015 biopic The Notorious RBG help cement her as a cultural icon among Liberals — beat out tennis star Serena Williams, WWE wrestler Roman Reigns, and comedian Hannah Gadsby to take him the award.

Though it wasn’t a clean sweep for Ginsburg last night.

The RGB documentary lost the “Best Fight” category for “Ruth Bader Ginsburg vs. Inequality” to “Captain Marvel vs. Minn-Erva.”

The justice was absent from the ceremony in Santa Monica, California.

Last December, Ginsburg had surgery to remove cancerous growths on her left lung. She was released from the hospital in New York four days later and recuperated at home.

Earlier this year, Ginsburg missed three days of arguments, the first time that’s happened since she joined the court in 1993. Still, she was allowed to participate using court briefs and transcripts.

Ginsburg has had two previous bouts with cancer, in 1999 and 10 years later.

Flashback: Ruth Bader Ginsburg: A Pregnant Woman Is Not A ‘Mother’

Celebrated liberal U.S. Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg argued in an opinion released Tuesday that a pregnant woman is not a “mother.”

“[A] woman who exercises her constitutionally protected right to terminate a pregnancy is not a ‘mother’,” Ginsburg wrote in a footnote, which in turn responded to another footnote in the 20-page concurring opinion by Justice Clarence Thomas in the Box v. Planned Parenthood of Indiana and Kentucky Inc. case.

As Breitbart News’ legal editor Ken Klukowski reported, the case concerned a law signed by then-Governor (now Vice President) Mike Pence of Indiana in 2016, which required that the remains of an aborted fetus (or baby) be disposed of by cremation or burial. The law also prohibited abortion on the basis of sex, race, or disability alone.

The Court upheld the first part of the law, but declined to consider the selective-abortion ban until more appellate courts had ruled on it.

In his lengthy opinion — which delighted pro-life advocates, and distressed pro-choice activists — Thomas wrote that “this law and other laws like it promote a State’s compelling interest in preventing abortion from becoming a tool of modern-day eugenics.” He traced the racist and eugenicist beliefs of Planned Parenthood founder Margaret Sanger, and warned that the Court would one day need to wrestle with abortion as form of racial discrimination.

In a footnote, Thomas attacked Ginsberg’s dissenting opinion, which argued the Court should not have deferred to the legal standard used by the litigants in the lower courts, but should have subjected the Indiana law to a more difficult standard instead, since it impacted “the right of [a] woman” to an abortion.

Ginsburg cited no legal authority for her claim that a pregnant woman is not a “mother.” The claim that a fetus is not a child is central to pro-choice arguments.
