An unfortunate thing is occurring in the Republican primary for the U.S. Senate in Minnesota. Despite the party’s convention being 54 days away, the National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC) in Washington, D.C. is playing favorites and heavily assisting one of the candidates in the race as if Minnesotans have already made their decision.

It’s a bizarre thing for the NRSC to be doing because there’s a competitive campaign unfolding with many qualified candidates. In fact, as it now stands, the race is wide open.

POLL: IF THE REPUBLICANS TAKE THE SENATE IN NOVEMBER, WILL THAT SOL...

A recent primary poll showed State Senator Julianne Ortman leading the field with 16 percent of the vote, followed by State Representative Jim Abeler and businessman Mike McFadden tied with 8 percent of the vote.

Similarly, a just-released general election poll showed ultra-liberal incumbent Al Franken well under 50 percent in potential match-ups with both Ortman and McFadden. The Star-Tribune reported the survey “found that Franken has a 3 percentage lead over Republican Julianne Ortman and a 6 percentage point lead over Republican Mike McFadden,” 44-41 and 44-38 respectively.

The poll question on here is vague.   But of course Republican control of Congress would be much better that the Socialist Democrats Lawless-Unconstitutional government they are running.

I would change the word "Republican" for "Conservative". Republicans can and often are RINO's, Conservatives can also be independents.

Rinos must be defeated in every election possible.   Will they ever learn!  I doubt it.

Yes we need to replace Rinos with Conservatives, but first we MUST remove the Socialist/Democrats from power. If the Democrats keep control of the Senate, our Country will be beyond fixable with 2 more years of Obama's/Democrat Socialist transformation.  Then, we elect more & more Conservatives, the Rinos will be on the run.

I live in Al Frankens area of representation, and he has become very unpopular. He will be a one-n-done Senator. There is a movement of dissatisfaction with the Democratic Party nationwide, and it's no different in Minnesota. This idiot must be defeated, and we must take the Senate!!!

Ortman, is, obviously, not sufficiently "moderate" to win the endorsement of the GOP elites. "Why, if we let conservatives get into office, our march toward a New World Order might be delayed or, worse, derailed entirely!"

The established RINO'S are fighting for their very existence. The Tea Party has them running scared and they will pull every dirty trick to keep the status quo for as long as they can. We have got to turn out in mass numbers to overcome there attack and the inevitable fraud that WILL take place by both parties.

The worst thing is that RINOs would rather see the election won by a liberal Democrat than by a conservative of any stripe.  RINOs, by definition, have the same philosophies and goals as liberals.

There isn't much difference between the RINOs and the Socialist Democrats.  Both of them represent the One World Government mindset.  Both of them lie to hide that One World Government goal.  And both of them dare not mention the control that the CFR and the Bilderbergers have over them.

Come on Minnesota - do you really want Al Franken to represent you?  Let's get out the vote there...

UNFORTUNATELY I'M FROM MN, AND THEY CHEATED HIM IN IN THE FIRST PLACE. AFTER HE LOST AND DURING A RECOUNT THEY MYSTERIOUSLY DISCOVERED A BUNCH OF "MISSING BALLOTS" THAT WERE NOT COUNTED THE FIRST TIME AROUND, THINGS THAT YOU GO HMMMM. GEE WALLY, WONDER HOW THAT HAPPENED? THE PENDULUM SOMEHOW SWUNG SO FAR AS TO HIM LOSING BY A COUPLE THOUSAND VOTES TO, OH LOOK HE ACTUALLY WON BY 800 VOTES. WHAT A CROCK, AND OF THE MANY REASONS I NEED TO GET OUT OF THIS TREE HUGGING STATE.

THEN AGAIN THEY DID VOTE IN JESSIE VENTURA, AND LETS NOT FORGET THE LOVELY AND TALENTED AMY KLOBECHAR OR HOW EVER THE YOU SPELL HER PUKE NAME, UGH!!!!!! I THINK I'M LOSING MY MIND

Deep State Treason:  Former State Dept. Official Under Trump Tells China To Quit Negotiating Until Trump Is Removed In 2020

Deep state traitors no longer hide their deep hatred for the American people —

Mrs. Susan Thornton, the former acting assistant secretary of state in the Trump administration, told her Beijing audience to stop negotiating until President Trump is removed from office in 2020.

Until July 2018, she was Acting Assistant Secretary for East Asian and Pacific Affairs at the Department of State and led East Asia policy making amid crises with North Korea, escalating trade tensions with China, and a fast-changing international environment.

The Conservative Treehouse and The South China Morning News reported:

A former official in the Trump administration has said that China can weather the storm brought by the trade war with the United States but might have to “keep steady, keep their heads down and wait” for change in the White House.

Susan Thornton, former acting assistant secretary of state to US President Donald Trump, told a gathering in Shanghai on Wednesday that she hoped a trade deal between the US and China could be concluded by next month.

But the reality was that it would “take a while” for China and the US to talk about cooperation again, Thornton, who in 20 years rose to become the US State Department’s chief negotiator for East Asia and Pacific affairs, told the South China Morning Post.

“I want to be optimistic,” said Thornton, whose 27-year career in Washington ended in July. “I tell all our foreign counterparts they should keep steady, keep their heads down and wait. [They should] try to not let anything change dramatically.”

“If this sceptical attitude towards talking diplomacy continues in this administration, you might have to wait till another administration,” Thornton said at an event held by National Committee of US-China relations and Shanghai’s American Chamber.
