I wonder why the GOP leadership is so slow to understand that any one of their chosen candidates doesn't stand a chance of wining the nomination.  There is a field of 15 so far and in that field there are how many true "Constitutional" Conservatives?

As I see it there are actually only 2 Ted Cruz and Rand Paul are both true Constitutional Conservatives that deserve our support here at the Tea Party.

Sure we root for Donald Trump because he has talked about issues that the rest of the GOP has avoided because they see those issues as the so called 3rd rail in politics, and Donald Trump has shown that a large number of voters really do want action on those issues and they are willing to back him based on those issues.

I think that Bush and Christie and Fiorina, and Gilmore and Graham and Huckabee and Jindal and Kasich and Pataki all have zero chance and need to pack it in now. all Wishy Washy RINO's

Who does that leave who is true to our beliefs?

Ted Cruz is obviously #1

Ben Carson is on the short list as well

How do we teach the GOP leadership to do as the Base tells them to do.

Get out and vote at your primary and  don't hold your nose and vote for the lessor of 2 evils !

pick the best and stick with them.

I will stand with Cruz or Paul !

And for heavens sake do not let the media influence your choice!

They are the enemy

If you stand with either Cruz or Paul; you will actually be standing for JEB*

* My Source: Why I Support Donald Trump's Campaign -- And It's Probably Not What...

You have no clue! The GOP does not want Cruz because, he cannot be controlled and, he's so different from bush. Cruz is a Constitutionalist. bush is a progressive liberal, who is for common core and, immigration! And paul is a moron! He's also for immigration, legalizing marijuana and, his foreign policy, is the same as the POS in the rainbow house!

As far as Ted Cruz I'm in total agreement. But Rand Paul ? I say NO ! He has to much of Ron Paul baggage for my liking. You think the terror problem is bad now ? Let Rand Paul and his isolationist, anti-military ideas in the Oval Office and you'll see the situation FAR WORSE !

In reality I think neither one (Cruz or Paul.) has a snowballs chance in hell of getting elected. But a Trump/Carson, Trump/Cruz, or Trump/Rubio does.

My one major fear at this time. Is that Barry Soetoro has brought this country to the brink of CIVIL WAR ! If the left steals this coming election ( Like they stole the 2012 one.) there will be trouble.

The election process is getting to look like Fascist Italy or Nazi Germany. Remember in Ohio you had democratic districts with over 120% voter turnout. You have democratic election officials going to jail for voter fraud. Never forget ACORN and they got Barry Soetoro elected in 2008.  Remember that after Al Franken got sworn in it was revealed that just enough fraud votes were cast to get him elected and this happens everywhere that you don't have voter ID's enforced.

Forget about Paul.    He backed McConnell in his last campaign.   He also helped  ole Mitch

with Congress getting a free pass on their healthcare.    No To Rand Paul.....

Ben Carson is definitely a true very conservative Christian.  Rand Paul leans Libertarian like his father.

Since Cruz was born in Canada to a Cuba citizen father which leaves him not a natural born citizen as the Founding Father's saw fit.  They worried that a son would favor the country of his father.  In this case - Cuba.  It's the same situation that we complained about with Obama.

Say Monica, what was the mothers nationality?

Sen Cruz's mother is an Art. II §I Cl. 5 natural born Citizen, and assuming she was domiciled in the US for at least a year before Ted was born, between the time she left the US and became domiciled in Canada, she would have been able to pass U.S. citizenship on to her new born son by statute, making Sen Cruz a statutory U.S. citizen at birth, but, sadly, not a Art. II §I Cl. 5 natural born Citizen.

An Art. II §I Cl. 5 natural born Citizen is a person born exclusively under U.S. sovereignty. Folks, it doesn't get easier than this. Those who are trying to make this more complicated than it is, are fighting against natural law and natural jurisdiction. If we allow natural sovereignty to be established by statutory law, we would be a constitutional monarch rather than a constitutional republic.

Look David, I had to ask it, if only to provoke accountability. Yet the deafening lack of legal challenge outcomes to the communist-lite Progressive in the White House seems telling no?

Is it such a legal black, or white (unlike Obama) no-brainer for the GOP or any  group of Obama detractors?

If so, why does he still sit in the Oval Office?

You can quit beating that horse now, it has been determined that Cruz IS a US CITIZEN, so pack up your bullshit and take a hike, IDIOT!

Frank -

". . .it has been determined that Cruz is a U.S. Citizen,. . ."

A 'statement' is not the same as a 'fact'!!!

What makes your 'statement' true?

Who made this 'determination'?  What did they base this 'determination' on?

I trust you are aware that there is a difference between a 'U.S. Citizen' and a 'Natural Born Citizen'?. . .and that 'Natural Born' is the requirement for a presidential candidate?

You can tell us what your opinion is, and call everyone else an 'idiot', and say their opinion is 'bullshit' - but, that does not automatically make your opinion correct.

Care to provide some justification for why you feel what you state is true?

I stand for a man with guts, Donald Trump. Rand Paul, Dee you must be kidding. As a long time supporter of the Tea Party I am disappointed at your stance, shocked would be a better word. You just lost a supporter and I taught you had a level head but you turned out to be a coward. Cruz I can understand but Rand you have lost your mind. In order to save our country Trump is the only one who can and you pick Rand you must have lost your mind.

  Trump / Palin / Tray / Cruz

Yikes !!! Ocasio-Cortez: We Need A ‘Multigendered, Multigeographic’ United States

The United States of America needs to be “multigendered” and “multigeographic,” according to Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), who endorsed fellow socialist Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) at the “Bernie’s Back Rally” in New York on Saturday.

The freshman lawmaker and “Squad” member officially endorsed Sanders during a rally in Queensbridge Park in Long Island City, New York, on Saturday and called for more diversity in the U.S., arguing that it should not only be “multiracial” and “multigenerational” but “multigeographic” and “multigendered.”

“We need a United States that really, truly, and authentically is operated, owned, and decided by working – and all – people in the United States of America,” Ocasio-Cortez said to applause.

“That is what it – it is multiracial, multigendered, multigenerational, and multigeographic,” she said, failing to elaborate on what that specifically looks like.

“We have to come together, not ignoring our differences but listening to them, prioritizing them, understanding injustice,” she continued.

The socialist lawmaker also implied that rampant racism is still alive and well in the U.S., telling the crowd that it is essential to understand “that we operate in a context where slavery evolved into Jim Crow, evolved into mass incarceration, [and] evolved into the realities we have today.”
