Lefty Loon Mayor of San Jose told police to stand down during violent mob

The mayor of San Jose, a Clinton supporter and Mexican, Sam Liccardo, has apparently allowed the VIOLENT Trump protests to occur:

Some banged on the cars of Trump supporters as they left the rally and chased after those on foot to frighten them.

Police were keeping their distance from the crowd as the scuffles played out but kept them from getting any closer to the convention center.

“Our police officers have done an extremely courageous and professional job so far,” San Jose Mayor Sam Liccardo told the Associated Press by phone. “We’re all still holding our breath to see the outcome of this dangerous and explosive situation.”

The mayor, a Democrat and Hillary Clinton supporter, criticized Trump for coming to cities and igniting problems that local police departments have to deal with.

“At some point Donald Trump needs to take responsibility for the irresponsible behavior of his campaign,” Liccardo said.

The Mayor must resign. His behavior was out of line.

How do idiots like him get elected? Oh, I know, by idiots who voted for him.

Perhaps William. But useful idiots (like the fictitious Jar Jar Binks from Star Wars) are not the same as derranged idiots (your pick from the progressivist lineup). We must hope for a remedy. IMO

Send his fascist ass to North Korea.  See how they handle punks like him and his ilk.

What an idiot! Needs to be fired, putting peoples lives in danger. This man has probably

been bought and paid for by the Feds.  I am really upset at the police officers,

that are taking HIS stand down order!  Anyone that was hurt, ought to be suing

the Mayor for his behavior.

Donna, that is what the court system is supposed to be for. It is where the average citizens pedal should hit the metal, and not really the legislature or the executive. If it isn't, thank the legal shysters who worked to make the courts too complicated and too expensive for the average citizen, all so they could make a professional buck.

I KNEW IT!   I didn't think the police would have allowed that violence without instructions from a higher power.

It never ceases to amaze me to what depths the Communist Democrats will sink.   If he had been a Republican & it had been a Hillary Rally, you can bet the Liberals would be demanding the mayor be removed from office, complete with signs & demonstrations!

I hope Conservatives in Kalifornia are putting together a petition to have the scumbag mayor removed from office.

I believe what the mayor did is illegal, a violation of his oath to all the residents of San Jose, not just Democrats & he certainly shouldn't be siding with ILLEGAL ALIENS from a foreign country against American citizens.

Well he is a demoncrat in a town full of mexicans and lao's people what is to be expected?

“At some point Donald Trump needs to take responsibility for the irresponsible behavior of his campaign,”

Every day I am more and more amazed by the absolute stupidity of the commie left. Of course, that could be their plan. Provoke enough of us and hard enough of us to do battle with these scumbags at a rally so we look like the party that started all this. I wouldn't dare go to a rally for fear that I would shoot one of these dirt bags if they attacked me.

"“At some point Donald Trump needs to take responsibility for the irresponsible behavior of his campaign,” Liccardo said."

James, the interesting point in that statement, to me, is that Trumps critics are absolutely dumbfounded and maddened by the evident lack of politically correct restraints that they may manipulate with impunity. Trump may call "a spade a spade", and his adversaries have no means to detract from the candidates grass roots popularity. This Mayor is complaining for it!

OH YEAH!! But on a sober note, when you can't touch the man, you hit his vulnerable supporters as an example to discourage support. This is political thuggery, plain and simple.

Horrible: Democrats Set The Constitution On Fire With Fraudulent Impeachment

House Democrats unveiled two articles of impeachment against President Donald Trump on Tuesday morning after an investigation that violated fundamental provisions of the Constitution and the Bill of Rights.

The investigation of the president began with the complaint of a so-called “whistleblower” who turned out to be a rogue Central Intelligence Agency employee, protected by a lawyer who had called for a “coup” against Trump in early 2017.

Democrats first demanded that the “whistleblower” be allowed to testify. But after House Intelligence Committee chair Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) was found to have lied about his committee’s contact with the “whistleblower,” and after details of the “whistleblower’s” bias began to leak, Democrats reversed course. In violation of the President Trump’s Sixth Amendment right to confront his accuser, Democrats refused to allow the “whistleblower” to testify. They argue the president’s procedural rights, even if they existed, would not apply until he was tried in the Senate — but they also invented a fraudulent “right to anonymity” that, they hope, might conceal the whistleblower even then.

Schiff began the “impeachment inquiry” in secret, behind the closed doors of the Sensitive Compartmentalized Information Facility (SCIF) in the basement of the U.S. Capitol, even though none of the testimony was deemed classified. Few members of Congress were allowed access. Schiff allowed selective bits of testimony to leak to friendly media, while withholding transcripts of testimony.

Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), having allowed the secret process to unfold, legitimized it with a party-line vote authorizing the inquiry. The House resolution denied President Trump the procedural rights enjoyed by Presidents Richard Nixon and Bill Clinton, and denied the minority party the traditional right to object to witnesses called by the majority.

Rather than the House Judiciary Committee, which traditionally handles impeachment, Pelosi also deputized the House Intelligence Committee to conduct fact-finding; the Judiciary Committee was turned into a rubber stamp. Schiff held a few public hearings, but often failed to release transcripts containing exculpatory evidence until after they had passed.

In the course of the Intelligence Committee’s investigation, Schiff quietly spied on the telephone records of his Republican counterpart, Ranking Member Devin Nunes (R-CA). He also snooped on the phone records of a journalist, John Solomon; and on the phone records of former New York City mayor Rudy Giuliani, acting as President Trump’s personal lawyer.

Schiff’s eavesdropping violated both the First Amendment right to press freedom and the Sixth Amendment right to counsel. Yet he proceeded undeterred by constitutional rights, publishing the phone logs in his committee’s report without warning, confirmation, or explanation, alleging that Nunes and the others were part of a conspiracy to assist the president’s allegedly impeachable conduct. When Republicans on the Judiciary Committee asked the Intelligence Committee’s majority counsel, Daniel Goldman, to explain the phone logs, he refused to answer,

Ironically, Schiff had done exactly what Democrats accuse Trump of doing: abused his power to dig up dirt on political opponents, then obstructed a congressional investigation into his party’s and his committee’s misconduct.

Democrats’ articles of impeachment include one for the dubious charge of “abuse of power,” which is not mentioned in the Constitution; and one for “obstruction of Congress,” which in this case is an abuse of power in itself.

Alexander Hamilton, writing about impeachment in Federalist 65, warned that “there will always be the greatest danger that the decision will be regulated more by the comparative strength of parties, than by the real demonstrations of innocence or guilt.” Democrats have fulfilled Hamilton’s worst fears.

The Trump impeachment will soon replace the 1868 impeachment of President Andrew Johnson — which the House Judiciary Committee staff actually cited as a positive precedent — as the worst in American history.

In service of their “coup,” Democrats have trampled the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. The Republic has never been in greater danger.

You don't get to interrupt me
