Image result for leftist anarchist berkeleyAt this moment, I am on assignment in Europe, a continent that, like America, seems more screwed-up with every visit. To escape the insanity that threatens to engulf us all, this morning I decided to work remotely from a small French town. Hammering away on my laptop, I sat down to enjoy a nice breakfast in a quaint little café. The coffee was good. So were the bacon and eggs. Fearing I would miss a critical news event — you know, like, say, the ransacking of a California university by students deeply concerned with the ideals of democracy — I put in my earbuds and listened to BBC Radio.

This was a mistake.

The brief tranquility of my world was punctured and my coffee made bitter by an interview with a man who warned of a populist “Trumpian fascism” in Britain and America. Yes, a new Hitler, he said, threatened the free world. This is a frequent refrain. Ashley Judd shouted it on the Washington Mall. Social media is bristling with the same. And pundits both here and in America love to say it. That narrative, however dear to the Left it may be, is ignorant and bears no semblance to the modern geopolitical reality in the Western world.

A little political primer for the uninitiated:

Strictly speaking, fascism sees the clash of civilizations as a war between races of people. It is about the blood. Private property and capitalism are permitted, but it is for purposes designated by the state. Fascism is an extreme expression of the Right. Hitler’s Germany, Mussolini’s Italy, and Franco’s Spain were all fascist regimes.

They killed millions of people.

Strictly speaking, socialism sees the clash of civilizations as a war between classes of people. It is about impersonal economic forces. Private property is not recognized, capitalism is a great evil, and the state owns the means of production. Socialism’s highest stage of development is called communism. (It has never been achieved, but that is a discussion for another time.) Socialism is an extreme expression of the Left. Stalin’s Soviet Union, Mao’s China, and Kim Jong-un’s North Korea were/are all socialist states.

They killed millions of people.

Fascism and socialism are “historicist” theories. That is, in these systems, history is governed by predetermined laws; not man and certainly not God. Indeed, both have a great antipathy for God and seek to substitute the state and its pantheon of leaders for authentic worship. After all, salvation, they believe, is found in the state alone.

Fascism enjoys no mainstream support in Britain or America. This has not deterred opponents of Donald Trump from calling him and his supporters “fascists” and “Nazis.” I did not vote for Trump — I damn sure didn’t vote for Hillary — but I must defend the man on this point. To use such labels is outrageous and utterly fails to understand what those words mean. And to use them in this context is to lose all credibility.

As far as I can tell, Trump is a typical Western capitalist and pragmatist. To date, his political policies stand in the mainstream of American presidential tradition in a way that Obama’s did not. There is nothing particularly radical — or fascist — about strict immigration requirements, the protection of U.S. interests and sovereignty, or a wariness of an oppressive, violent socio-political structure like Islam whose core principles are antithetical to Western ideals. Moreover, Trump is no ideologue as Obama and Bernie Sanders certainly are.

No, it is not fascism that threatens the West; it is an anarchy fueled by leftist ideology incubated in our universities, promoted by a willing media, and regurgitated by Hollywood. Furthermore, in trying to redefine what constitutes America’s political center, the Left has sought to give the impression that they embody it.

Don’t fall for it.

Can you tell me one thing that Trump has done that is operative... actually taking place since his assuming office?  Obama Care is still there, he has not stopped Islamic Immigration, the wall is being challenged and is yet to be funded, what is happening to all the promises to clean house... Hillary is walking free, Eric Holder is not behind bars nor are any of the members of what appeared to be one of the most corrupt criminal enterprises to ever occupy the White House...

To coin a term used in the media... Where is the beef?  Where is the reform, I see Gen. Flynn thrown under the bus, Trumps cabinet still languishing in Congress... A GOP controlled Congress and a Supreme Court Nominee going no where in a hurry when we need him on the COURT NOW... there are important cases coming up... early in the next courts cycle.

Trumps Administration is beginning to look like a train wreck...lots of talk and no real action.. where is the action... actual effects, real boots meet the rubber action... not the kabuki theater of past GOP Administrations. The left has managed to derail one of Trump's Key advisors... not exactly a victory for Trump... Kelly Ann is next and that will be a loss... meanwhile Trump continues to tweet away as Rome burns.

I expected 'shock and awe' and got humpty dumpty...

Trump picked billionaires, business people, and ex-Goldman bankers for his administration. They will fight the establishment and Wall Street. We the people elected Trump and all Americans need to pledge allegiance to him. Then there won't be any negative stories aka "fake news" about our president who is beyond reproach. Then a guy like Flynn would not need to resign, either.

I think it is foolhardy to attempt to place Donald Trump in some political box and label him as something in order to safely file him away so that the critics  of a not yet month old administration can feel comfortable.

Obama, in eight years, had less criticism and hatred directed towards him than Trump has in less than a month, and Obama wouldn't, or couldn't, even prove he was legitimate to be president. That fact alone shouts loud and clear about the overall condition of the country.

Trump is not a politician. His task, as I see it, is to conduct a political office (chief executive) and keep himself from being devoured by it, while keeping the promises he made to attain it.

That, folks, ain't gonna be easy. All the institutions are against him as well as most of the politicians in government who will do everything behind the curtain to maintain their grip on personal government welfare.

Trump will make mistakes. Yuge ones, too. Everything he does is bigly.

Give him a chance. There are many fronts he must fight on, not just one. And he needs help.  It is our fight as well. Not just solely his.

As President of the United States Trump must find a path forward... that is what he was hired to do and what he promised.  I believe he is being to timid and withholding his most potent tool... the LAW and Enforcement of the LAW.

Trump must go after the Corrupt politicians and key figure heads in the MSM... using the law... to identify and expose the various forms of political corruption, economic theft, and sedition, taking place in both political parties (the swamp).  Where is the 'Shock and Awe' the verbose and vibrant colors of a Trump enterprise?  Trump's signature trade mark has been his boldness and fearless temperament ... his ability to focus on the criminal acts of those in power... where has it gone?

Where are the promised indictments of the well connected... the corrupt political class and the strict enforcement of the law, regarding sedition and incitement to riot... by the MSM.  This will not be a pretty or clean process... Trump will be attacked, no matter what he does. So, why not focus on putting the enemies of our Republic on the defensive, instead of being forced by those enemies to defend himself, over the minor hiccups and bumps his fledgling administration will have along the way?

Trump needs to focus on his enemies weaknesses and criminal activities... he needs to control the narrative, by putting the heat on those criminal elements in government, he identified during his campaign,... they are screaming for action... He needs to go after the MSM talking heads, whose rhetoric has spawned riot and insurrection, sedition, and riot; often, giving aid to our enemies... these are crimes.  Use the power of the law to reign in the conduct of the MSM and too ameliorate  the petty arguments of the left...

I don't think for a moment that timidity is a character trait of Donald Trump.

This man hasn't been in office a month and he has done more in those few weeks than most people would do in a year. He is a worker, and he is smart.

His big flaw, in my view, is that he seems to take people at face value, in short he trusts them. O'Reilly is a case in point. Honest people have a tendency to think that others are honest as well.  They are not. Chris Wallace is another phony as is O'Reilly.

Coupled with that Trump is prone to speak without thinking it through first. That is a business man. He says what is on his mind, and to hell with the consequences. You don't like it, leave.

As for Gen. Flynn, I don't know what happened, what led to his resignation. Both Trump and Flynn should set the record straight. And to hell with what the democrats or the media think about it. Tell the truth, period.  Gen. Flynn, if you screwed up, say so. President Trump, if you forced Flynn to resign, say so.

Nobody in their right mind expects Trump or Flynn to be perfect, both are brand new at this political bullshit, and mistakes are bound to occur.  Did Gen. Flynn undermine the security of the United States? NO! But Obama did! And so did Clinton! Where is the outrage over it? Does the media give a tinkers damn? Do the democrats? HELL NO!!

As real Americans we elected Donald Trump. Now dammit, let's back him up. Gen. Flynn is an American hero in my book. The fact that he quit a political post doesn't diminish him in the least.

My view.

Exactly, where is the action to deal with the undermining of our national security by Clinton and Obama... why is the Trump Administration dragging its heals on arresting and trying the criminal elements in the former administration... waiting only muddies the water.

We need a shock and awe event too put Trump back on course... too make America Great Again.  I back Donald... but he appears to be getting bad advise and his timidity is part and parcel of that advice.

I miss the real Donald of the Campaign trail... the fire in his belly and the gleam in his eye as he focused on exposing and CLEANING OUT THE SWAMP... He has not yet begun on that task... not one agent of the former cabal of criminals in the Obama Admin have been brought before the bar... too receive justice.

Col. Nelson,

In direct response to your concerns about Trump. Give the man some time. He doesn't have his cabinet set yet due to the criminals delays in confirmation. He hasn't even warmed the seat of the chair and he is under assault constantly.

Give him 6 months. I think he fully intends to keep his campaign promises. But give him some time.

And he had better go after Clinton.

Your probably right... but I have an ingrained sense of urgency that tells me we just don't have a lot of time to get our nation's house in order... time is of the essence. It is critical.

I am more concerned about letting Hillary and company go... without indictment and the FBI Director being left in place... Comey is obviously compromised and without a good FBI Director the swamp will never be drained.

All these people should be sent to a country where there is no FREE SPEECH after rotting in prison a few years they might begin to appreciate America!!!!

Hi Janet, I wouldn't hold my breath on their generation or their indoctrinated drones EVER appreciating ANYTHING! And, they will NEVER CHANGE! Even in prison, they would riot against the food, being locked up all day long, lack of spiritual relevancy, the color of the painted floors or lack of soft and fluffy carpets. THEY are a totally LOST GENERATION [THE PROGENY OF MY GENERATION-Baby Boomers] who will never find a place in civilized society ... anywhere. Their kind and their insanity will only end when they cease to exist; by natural selection, old age or armed revolt against them. My solution ... if IT is wearing a hoodie, a knitted pink vagina on their head and wearing black horn-rimmed glasses and/or has a facemask >> JUST KILL IT! Arguing will NEVER stop this anarchy; only instant death will.

Angry Dem Impeachment ‘Witness’: Pam Karlan Donated Thousands To Hillary And Was On Clinton’s List For Potential SCOTUS Nomination

The House Judiciary Committee, chaired by Rep. Jerrold Nadler, kicked off its first impeachment circus Wednesday morning.

The four ‘witnesses’ testifying have never actually witnessed any of Trump’s dealings with Ukraine firsthand — the four witnesses are law professors offering legal analysis.

One of the witnesses the Dems rolled out is an angry Hillary Clinton donor who was on Crooked’s list for a potential Supreme Court nomination.

No wonder why this unhinged, dowdy woman is so pissed off!

“Professor Pam Karlan donated thousands of dollars to Democrats and was on Hillary Clinton’s list for a potential Supreme Court nomination. So she certainly has no vendetta against President Trump,” GOP Rep. Mark Walker said.

Congressman Walker also pointed out that Noah Feldman, the Dems first partisan witness in Wednesday’s hearing tweeted about impeaching Trump right after he was sworn in.

Meet Noah Feldman, House Democrats first partisan witness.

Look at the date of this tweet. He has been trying to get @realDonaldTrump impeached since 46 days into his presidency.

His reason? Trump criticized President Obama.

This is a sham impeachment with sham witnesses.

The next witness, Karlan, has donated thousands to Democrats and was on Hillary Clinton’s list for a potential Supreme Court nomination.

So she certainly has no vendetta against @realDonaldTrump.

These witnesses are as serious as House Democrats impeachment case: not at all.

The entire sham show trial is stacked with partisan hacks who have wanted to impeach Trump from the moment he won in November of 2016.

Norm Eisen, the Democrats’ counsel who is blasting Trump and questioning witnesses in Wednesday’s show trial, tweeted about impeaching Trump before Donald Trump was even sworn into office!
