Judge threatened after ruling Detroit’s bankrupt: ‘Expect to either be beaten or run over’

A U.S. bankruptcy judge ruled Tuesday that Detroit is eligible to seek relief under Chapter IX of the Federal Bankruptcy Act. He also ruled that pensions payable to retired city workers will receive no special protections are subject to revision like any other creditor.

This represents the largest municipal bankruptcy in U.S. history. The city has debts totaling $18 billion, including a $3.5 billion shortage in pension funds, according to Fox News.

“This once proud and prosperous city can’t pay its debts. It’s insolvent. It’s eligible for bankruptcy,” Judge Steven Rhodes said in announcing his decision. “At the same time, it also has an opportunity for a fresh start.”

When America goes bankrupt, you can be sure that Congress retirement is protected. Only the peasants will suffer, and die of starvation when there is no more money for citizens of this nation, led to the Welfare State dependency by the Democrats. IF you don't elect me, Don Cordell for your President in 2016, you will live to regret it. We must retake control of our nation, stop our worldwide spending, return our troops to defend our borders, stop giving gifts of money and military support equipment, because WE are BANKRUPT.  The Unions were a good thing originally, they can still be in the future, but with more fiscal control over the members contributions. Employers of the pre 1930's paid pennies for wages, had company towns where you lived in Employers housing, bought your food from the Company store, paid in Company Script, well the USA is now a Company, do you want the only jobs to be for the Company, paid in worthless script to spend in the Government stores where the idea of anyone making a profit is guilty of a crime? Keep it up as we are now, and we will lose everything that made this nation Wonderful.

Public sector unions had no power in this country until 1959, when Mayor Robert Wagner, NYC, wanted their votes and made government employees eligible for union representation and collective bargaining.  Wisconsin followed in 1959 as the first state to permit collective bargaining by public sector state employees.

I oppose unions for people I employ, police, teachers, firemen, government workers in a business I own, local, state, federal governments to organize against We The People.

They have job security as long as we need government services.  That should keep their wages low.

In return they SHOULD NOT have union protection, union bargaining, union representation in any form.

NO unions in the public sector.  FIGHT them every way we can.

from wiki: (my italics)

"A public-sector trade union (or public-sector labor union) is a trade union which primarily represents the interests of employees within public sector (government-owned, supported or regulated) organizations. Public sector unions have become some of the larger or more influential unions in certain areas of the world in recent times as private sector union membership has declined sharply.

Such unions are highly controversial among conservatives as well as many liberals who argue that public sector unions exert political power in elections to bargain for large pensions and other expensive benefits of which taxpayers are not fully aware, and thereby help to create state and local government budget problems."

Lets see, the democrats impose EPA standards that force manufacturing jobs out of the country, impose labor contracts that force jobs out of the country, take away spending restraints, and you wonder why you're broke. Its no coincidence that the most heavilly restricted gun rights are  the country's murder capitals. You reap what you sow. Pull your heads out of your asses,  you get what you ask for.

Top murder towns in America

1. Chicago | 500
2. New York | 419
3. Detroit | 386
4. Philadelphia | 331
5. Los Angeles | 299
6. Baltimore | 219

Well would you look at that! Right at the top of the list. All of these jewels of America for all the world to see. Ya, these are the Republican strong holds. Where the NRA gun toting Americans hangout. We have been trying to tell them for years, that all of their guns are killing everybody. But they will not believe us. Now all of the Republican run cities, are right there at the top of the list! So that everybody can see that their ideologies are destroying America!

WHAT?? What are you talking about? NO, those can't be Democratic run cities. The democrats don't allow any guns if they can help it. Are you sure they are run by Democrats????

Excuse me folks, I'm going to leave now!

Not really a surprise, Union Workers or the Entitled on the other End, Im sure not one lost any sleep while they were bleeding those businesses dry, Unions are like most liberal fixes, they start out as a great idea or a Necessity, then go way to far, Now all there good for is padding the Bosses pockets, buying Politicians, and pricing everything out of reach to the low class and none union workers.

THANKS TO PROGRESSIVE/LIBERAL LEFT WING/DEMOCRATIC/SOCIALIST/MARXIST/COMMUNIST  RULE, THERE ARE MANY OTHER STATES IN AMERICA THAT ARE DESTINED TO BECOME THE "FUTURE DETROITS".!!!!!!......PEOPLE GET THE GOV'T THEY VOTE FOR AND DESERVE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!111

They are NOT DemocratIC they are democrats!! Want to throw up every time I hear Pislosi say "her democratic colleagues" !!

People gettin tarred o de jujes !  Best start flyin strait dere jujes !

Gee, the ones who ran the city bankrupt get a chance to enjoy the fruits of their labor.

Yikes !!! Ocasio-Cortez: We Need A ‘Multigendered, Multigeographic’ United States

The United States of America needs to be “multigendered” and “multigeographic,” according to Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), who endorsed fellow socialist Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) at the “Bernie’s Back Rally” in New York on Saturday.

The freshman lawmaker and “Squad” member officially endorsed Sanders during a rally in Queensbridge Park in Long Island City, New York, on Saturday and called for more diversity in the U.S., arguing that it should not only be “multiracial” and “multigenerational” but “multigeographic” and “multigendered.”

“We need a United States that really, truly, and authentically is operated, owned, and decided by working – and all – people in the United States of America,” Ocasio-Cortez said to applause.

“That is what it – it is multiracial, multigendered, multigenerational, and multigeographic,” she said, failing to elaborate on what that specifically looks like.

“We have to come together, not ignoring our differences but listening to them, prioritizing them, understanding injustice,” she continued.

The socialist lawmaker also implied that rampant racism is still alive and well in the U.S., telling the crowd that it is essential to understand “that we operate in a context where slavery evolved into Jim Crow, evolved into mass incarceration, [and] evolved into the realities we have today.”
