On Thursday, a federal judge allowed nearly 22,000 DREAMers in Arizona to apply for driver’s licenses starting on Monday (December 22).

After the Supreme Court on Wednesday denied Arizona Governor Jan Brewer’s request to stay a lower court ruling in favor of the DREAMers, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals “instructed U.S. District Court Judge David Campbell to issue a preliminary injunction blocking” Brewer’s ban.

According to the Arizona Republic, Campbell issued that injunction on Thursday afternoon, which means Arizona must allow DREAMers who received temporary amnesty under President Barack Obama’s unilateral Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program in 2012 to apply for driver’s licenses.

According to Campbell’s ruling, “the order will take effect on Monday to give the state enough time to notify its employees” and will apply to all DREAMers “in Arizona who have received work permits through Obama’s deferred action program, not just the ones who filed a lawsuit challenging the ban.”

The correct response by all of the states is nullification. In other words, ignore the ruling of the federal court because it adversely affects the people of the state to enjoy the basic freedom given to them by the Constitution. The right of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness!

I'm with you on this Randall. Ignore the feds and make them irrelevant.

A Country Founded by Geniuses but Run by Idiots!

If you can get arrested for hunting or fishing without a license, but
not for entering and remaining in the country illegally — you might
live in a nation that was founded by geniuses but is run by idiots.

If you have to get your parents’ permission to go on a field trip or
to take an aspirin in school, but not to get an abortion — you might
live in a nation that was founded by geniuses but is run by idiots.

If you MUST show your identification to board an airplane, cash a
check, buy liquor, or check out a library book and rent a video, but not
to vote for who runs the government — you might live in a nation that
was founded by geniuses but is run by idiots.

If the government wants to prevent stable, law-abiding citizens from
owning gun magazines that hold more than ten rounds, but gives twenty
F-16 fighter jets to the crazy new leaders in Egypt — you might live in a
nation that was founded by geniuses but is run by idiots.

If, in the nation’s largest city, you can buy two 16-ounce sodas, but
not one 24-ounce soda, because 24-ounces of a sugary drink might make
you fat — you might live in a nation that was founded by geniuses but is
 run by idiots.

If an 80-year-old woman or a three-year-old girl who is confined to a
wheelchair can be strip-searched by the TSA at the airport, but a woman
in a burka or a hijab is only subject to having her neck and head
searched — you might live in a nation that was founded by geniuses but
is run by idiots.

If your government believes that the best way to eradicate trillions
of dollars of debt is to spend trillions more — you might live in a
nation that was founded by geniuses but is run by idiots.

If a seven-year-old boy can be thrown out of school for saying his
teacher is “cute,” but hosting a sexual exploration or diversity class
in grade school is perfectly acceptable — you might live in a nation
that was founded by geniuses but is run by idiots.

If hard work and success are met with higher taxes and more
government regulation and intrusion, while not working is rewarded with
Food Stamps, WIC checks, Medicaid benefits, subsidized housing, and free
cell phones — you might live in a nation that was founded by geniuses
but is run by idiots.

If the government’s plan for getting people back to work is to
provide incentives for not working, by granting 99 weeks of unemployment
checks, without any requirement to prove that gainful employment was
diligently sought, but couldn’t be found — you might live in a nation
that was founded by geniuses but is run by idiots.

If you pay your mortgage faithfully, denying yourself the newest
big-screen TV, while your neighbor buys iPhones, time shares, a
wall-sized do-it-all plasma screen TV and new cars, and the government
forgives his debt when he defaults on his mortgage — you might live in a
nation that was founded by geniuses but is run by idiots.

If being stripped of your Constitutional right to defend yourself
makes you more “safe” according to the government — you might live in a
nation that was founded by geniuses but is run by idiots.

If the media panders to your openly socialist leader while the IRS targets groups with dissenting views— you might live in a nation that was founded by geniuses but is run by idiots.

If your government 'cracks down' on legal gun sales to law abiding citizens while secretly supplying illegal guns to Mexican drug cartels— you might live in a nation that was founded by geniuses but is run by idiots.

If your local government (Chicago) outlawed gun ownership for 'the safety of its citizens' and now boasts the worst murder rate in the country — you might live in a nation that was founded by geniuses but is run by idiots.

What a country!

How about we give God a reason to continue blessing America?

This was borrowed from another blog, author unknown, please spread it far and wide!

we are screwed here in Phx these judges are not for our laws just the chamber of horrors I am so upset We have robberies all over our neighborhood and they are the illegals when will this end We have no rights and NO country anymore due to NWO!

I think we as citizens of this once great country are going to be facing some awfully tough times by the 2016 election.

The pathetic part of this is; we as voters have re-elected the same corrupt incumbent politicians into office for years and expected them to change things for the better, when in reality we were just rubber-stamping their past unconstitutional behavior..

Hi Susan,

I agree, we have had more cars stolen out of our 55+ community than you can shake a stick at.  One resident got lucky and got her vehicle back.  They found it in Tempe.  My guess is since they were mexicans, they must have been illegal.  Sick of it!

Stamp "non citizen" accross the face

EXACTLY!!!

Democrats Dream, America's Nightmare!

What part of Illegal do they not understand.  It does not matter that your parents illegally brought you in as a child, they should not have done that in the first place!

This is a spit in the American's face. obama is a worthless worm. PERIOD! If I go out and commit a crime I go to jail. Screw our government and the queers in it.

Arizona needs to quote Article 3, Section 2, Clause 2 of the US Constitution and then tell this judge he has NO JURISDICTION TO HEAR A CASE WHERE A STATE IS INVOLVED.

However, it has been my experience that governor Brewer is a RINO and not likely to know or care what the Constitution states.  The only Federal Court with CONSTITUTIONAL jurisdiction to hear a case involving a State is the US Supreme Court... No inferrior court or judge has Constitutional Jurisdiction to tell a state anything.

Governor Brewer and her Attorney General need to read the Constitution... print out Article 3, Section 2, Clause 2 and send it to the judge that just ruled denying a stay... with a note attached, saying:

Please read the US Constitution Article 3, Section 2, clause 2... the only federal court with Constitutional Jurisdiction to hear cases involving a State is the US Supreme Court... all matters filed with inferrior federal courts are moot and the State of Arizona will not abide by the un-Constitutional orders of your court.

It is past time that the several States assert there Constitutional rights... and the right to have there cases adjudicated ONLY by the US Supreme Court is one of those rights.  All inferior court orders past and present are moot... empty of constitutional power to enforced..

Colonel,

I agree and also; Article VI Clause 3 states; The Senators and Representatives before mentioned, and THE MEMBERS OF THE SEVERAL STATE LEGISLATURES, AND ALL EXECUTIVE AND JUDICIAL OFFICERS, BOTH OF THE UNITED STATES AND OF THE SEVERAL STATES, SHALL BE BOUND BY OATH OR AFFIRMATION, TO SUPPORT THIS CONSTITUTION; but no religious test shall ever be required as a qualification to any office or public trust under the United States.
It looks like the state of Arizona (and the other states)are unconstitutionally using the same progressive living Constitution idea that the Federal government does.
Retired Supreme Court Sandra Day O’Conner was from Arizona and commented on T.V that she considered the Constitution a living document.
If Arizona had a republican form of government as guaranteed by  Article 4, Section 4. of the Constitution this situation would never have happened.

Horrible: Democrats Set The Constitution On Fire With Fraudulent Impeachment

House Democrats unveiled two articles of impeachment against President Donald Trump on Tuesday morning after an investigation that violated fundamental provisions of the Constitution and the Bill of Rights.

The investigation of the president began with the complaint of a so-called “whistleblower” who turned out to be a rogue Central Intelligence Agency employee, protected by a lawyer who had called for a “coup” against Trump in early 2017.

Democrats first demanded that the “whistleblower” be allowed to testify. But after House Intelligence Committee chair Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) was found to have lied about his committee’s contact with the “whistleblower,” and after details of the “whistleblower’s” bias began to leak, Democrats reversed course. In violation of the President Trump’s Sixth Amendment right to confront his accuser, Democrats refused to allow the “whistleblower” to testify. They argue the president’s procedural rights, even if they existed, would not apply until he was tried in the Senate — but they also invented a fraudulent “right to anonymity” that, they hope, might conceal the whistleblower even then.

Schiff began the “impeachment inquiry” in secret, behind the closed doors of the Sensitive Compartmentalized Information Facility (SCIF) in the basement of the U.S. Capitol, even though none of the testimony was deemed classified. Few members of Congress were allowed access. Schiff allowed selective bits of testimony to leak to friendly media, while withholding transcripts of testimony.

Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), having allowed the secret process to unfold, legitimized it with a party-line vote authorizing the inquiry. The House resolution denied President Trump the procedural rights enjoyed by Presidents Richard Nixon and Bill Clinton, and denied the minority party the traditional right to object to witnesses called by the majority.

Rather than the House Judiciary Committee, which traditionally handles impeachment, Pelosi also deputized the House Intelligence Committee to conduct fact-finding; the Judiciary Committee was turned into a rubber stamp. Schiff held a few public hearings, but often failed to release transcripts containing exculpatory evidence until after they had passed.

In the course of the Intelligence Committee’s investigation, Schiff quietly spied on the telephone records of his Republican counterpart, Ranking Member Devin Nunes (R-CA). He also snooped on the phone records of a journalist, John Solomon; and on the phone records of former New York City mayor Rudy Giuliani, acting as President Trump’s personal lawyer.

Schiff’s eavesdropping violated both the First Amendment right to press freedom and the Sixth Amendment right to counsel. Yet he proceeded undeterred by constitutional rights, publishing the phone logs in his committee’s report without warning, confirmation, or explanation, alleging that Nunes and the others were part of a conspiracy to assist the president’s allegedly impeachable conduct. When Republicans on the Judiciary Committee asked the Intelligence Committee’s majority counsel, Daniel Goldman, to explain the phone logs, he refused to answer,

Ironically, Schiff had done exactly what Democrats accuse Trump of doing: abused his power to dig up dirt on political opponents, then obstructed a congressional investigation into his party’s and his committee’s misconduct.

Democrats’ articles of impeachment include one for the dubious charge of “abuse of power,” which is not mentioned in the Constitution; and one for “obstruction of Congress,” which in this case is an abuse of power in itself.

Alexander Hamilton, writing about impeachment in Federalist 65, warned that “there will always be the greatest danger that the decision will be regulated more by the comparative strength of parties, than by the real demonstrations of innocence or guilt.” Democrats have fulfilled Hamilton’s worst fears.

The Trump impeachment will soon replace the 1868 impeachment of President Andrew Johnson — which the House Judiciary Committee staff actually cited as a positive precedent — as the worst in American history.

In service of their “coup,” Democrats have trampled the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. The Republic has never been in greater danger.

You don't get to interrupt me
