Sen. Rand Paul is in discussions with President Trump about revoking former CIA director John Brennan’s security clearance. According to the Republican senator, Brennan’s security clearance should be urgently revoked due to his treasonous history of exposing state secrets to left-wing journalists.

In a pair of tweets Monday morning, Paul slammed Brennan for “monetizing his security clearance” by “divulging secrets” to reporters and revealed he will be speaking to Trump about he matter.

Foxnews.com reports: “Is John Brennan monetizing his security clearance? Is John Brennan making millions of dollars divulging secrets to the mainstream media with his attacks on @realDonaldTrump?” Paul tweeted early Monday.

Rand Paul urges Trump to revoke John Brennan's security clearance

Brennan joined NBC News and MSNBC in February as a contributor and senior national security and intelligence analyst. A spokesperson for the networks did not immediately respond to Fox News’ request for comment on Paul’s tweet, which did not list any specific allegations.

The Kentucky Republican, who last week jumped to Trump’s defense as the president faced bipartisan criticism over his summit and press conference with Russian President Vladimir Putin, followed up the original tweet by saying:

“Today I will meet with the President and I will ask him to revoke John Brennan’s security clearance!”

The White House did not immediately respond to Fox News’ request for comment.

Paul’s tweets come as fellow congressional Republicans push for Brennan to testify on Capitol Hill regarding the investigation into Russian meddling and potential collusion with Trump campaign associates in the 2016 presidential election.

The former CIA director has been a consistent and harsh critic of the president, blasting his performance with Putin in Helsinki as “nothing short of treasonous.”

@JohnBrennan

Donald Trump’s press conference performance in Helsinki rises to & exceeds the threshold of “high crimes & misdemeanors.” It was nothing short of treasonous. Not only were Trump’s comments imbecilic, he is wholly in the pocket of Putin. Republican Patriots: Where are you???

House Judiciary Committee Chairman Bob Goodlatte, R-Va., said Sunday that his committee was seeking a Brennan interview.

“We have lots of questions for John Brennan and he will definitely be sought by the committees for an interview,” Goodlatte said on “Sunday Morning Futures.” “This is an extremely disturbing thing to see both he and [former FBI Director] James Comey, supposedly impartial government officials carrying out their jobs in very important areas in intelligence gathering and law enforcement, express the kind of extreme bias that they’ve shown—which I think reflects quite accurately what they were doing back in 2016.”

Goodlatte was referring to a Wall Street Journal op-ed written by Kimberly Strassel which suggested that Brennan’s role in the Russia probe “is in some ways more concerning than the FBI’s.”

“Mr. Brennan has taken credit for launching the Trump investigation,” Strassel wrote, adding that Brennan “took the lead on shaping the narrative that Russia was interfering in the election specifically to help Mr. Trump—which quickly evolved into the Trump-collusion narrative.”

On President Trump Revoking The Clearances of Brennan, Crapper, Rice And The Others

Although the potus has the power to to do so, even if it's because of how they have all slandered him, I see another reason that is even more justifiable.

It seems that everyone had forgotten this one very terrible event: BENGHAZI.

ALL OF THEM were IN on the LIE (A video)!  All of them, including Barack Obama, Joe Biden ,Hillary Clinton and John Kerry had literally gone either around the world, as well as in front of the UN, to try to SELL that LIE! And, their dem/media machine also TRIED to run the "clean up" / cover-their-asses campaign as well.

When the admn gets challenged over the revocation(s), DT and his press secy can bring the term BENGHAZI to the table to describe the level of DISHONOR to the victims' families, who I am sure haven't recv'd the respect . . .and especially the CLOSURE they so deserve.

BENGHAZI should NOT be forgotten!  That's my take, folks.

Joe Biden On Violence Against Women:   We Have To Keep ‘Punching At It, And Punching At It, And Punching At It’

The audience laughed as he said this.

Former Vice President Joe Biden said that America needs to be “punching” back to combat violence against women during Wednesday’s Democratic debate.

Biden was asked if he would tackle specific issues regarding the #MeToo movement at the beginning of his presidency, if he were to be elected. The former vice president previously sponsored the 1994 Violence Against Women Act (VAWA), which aimed to protect victims of domestic violence.

The presidential candidate responded to the question about assaulting women by using the phrase “punching” repeatedly, apparently not thinking about the implications of using such a word.

“No man has a right to raise a hand to a woman in anger other than in self-defense, and that rarely ever occurs,” Biden said. “So we have to just change the culture, period, and keep punching at it and punching at it and punching at it. No, I really mean it.”

A few people laughed in the audience as he said this.

Biden added that it is important to pass the Violence Against Women Act, which has passed in the House and held up in the Senate. The former Vice President also suggested that America has to “fundamentally change the culture” of how women are treated, noting that it is “everyone’s responsibility.”

“It’s a gigantic issue, and we have to make it clear from the top, from the president on down that we will not tolerate it,” Biden said. “We will not tolerate this culture.”
