Yesterday, there were two separate call outs on the internet indicating that the militia members were needed on the Texas border.  One call out indicated the militia members should stand by for orders.

Rick Light on FaceBook:

I will be busy this morning because I will be in a meeting with our Local Judge and Sheriff about the Border issue here in Texas.. I ask all Texas Militia personnel to standby.. Lets do this as the Professionals we are.. I will update ASAP..

Mr. Light, a credible militia source, is now posting that Governor Perry has indicated interest in using the militias in tangent with the law enforcement border surge that he announced yesterday.

Update.. RE: Border Op's for the Texas Militias.
I was just informed that the Governor is interested in using the citizens Militias of Texas in this issue. We need a SOP written up and given to the Governors office for a eyes and ears OP along with Detainee OP's that is coordinated with the Local and State Law enforcement. So I call on our Texas Commanders to step up and help with the write up.. Time for a phone convention ASAP.. Please get the word out.. I am asking for the Stand down order to be respected until the SOP is approved by the Governor of Texas. I call on The Texas State Militia, and other Texas Militias to assist in the effort.

POLL: Should the state citizen militias step up to secure the southern border since the Obama administration refuses to do it?

If this operation moves forward, militias in other states are offering their support deeming this a national issue as opposed to just a Texas problem as indicated by Chad Neal-Ok D.F.,

I can't speak for all of the Oklahoma Defense Force Militia command but Rick Light as the 1stSgt in the OKDF myself stand with you and seeing how this is a national issue we all need to stand together. If you need additional help I'll be more than happy to talk to the rest of the group.

AZ Ranger notes that since national security is at stake there may need to be militia support in Nogales Arizona. Further, he cautions that proper protocol needs to be followed:

historically the militia has had authority only to operate within its specified AO, and commanders have always respected that. The only time those things change, is when a militia is responding to a specific request. So, if TX wants other militia organizations to participate. The TX Militia's leadership should be the people to issue the call, and set the policies of integration and hierarchy once an outside unit arrives on site. Also, that policy can be a lot different for individuals who are not operating as a specific unit. This is an easy fix, and I agree that if TX allows, militias from across the country should show up and contribute to the defense of our borders. I think that Nogales, AZ POE is going to be the next mess to deal with.

Aaron Christopher Combs doesn't believe that this is an operation that the Governor is currently contemplating.

While i am not calling anyone a liar, but i just got off the phone with austin at the GOV office, Dewhurst and abbott all three have said that NO one has contacted them and they have not contacted any militias about using them. They told me personally that if anything like this were to happen they would not use the militias to write the OP and that it would be a public announcement at a press conf.... this is what i am being told. PERSONALLY by these peoples offices.

Audie Twiford points out that the militias are not vigilantes and that they do need to be called out by the Governor.

It is not the duty of a militia to become a force of vigilantes, it is the duty to prepare and make ready to become organized at the call of our Governor and support him at a state level to be directed by him and the State of Texas in the time of need. Texas didnt get where its at today by being careless and unorganized, the militia has protocols to follow like any other organization.

Will Governor Perry make use of this additional manpower to stop the invasion of Texas by illegals? Time will tell.

The 3 border States with GOP Governors need to send the National Guard or "Militia".  It is truly outrageous that tens of thousands of Illegals and children are pouring in and using our money and facilities to take care of them! The leaders of the Countries these people are from need to make arrangements to take them back and at their costs. Obama is truly an Anti-Constitutional A__Hole for allowing all of this to happen as well as are the Democrats and some Republicans that allow it as well!

The National Guard CANNOT be the state militia because the National Guard (as the name implies) can be "nationalized", that is, be made a part of the national military, thus defeating what the Militia were designed for and intended to do.

The Militia (not the drunks running around in camo gear) is to be made up of private citizens that can be called upon by the governor of a state to help in times of disaster or even to defend the state from a tyrannical government.  Further, the Militia cannot be nationalized so they cannot be used by the federal government against the citizens.

At least in my state the National Guard is a part of the militia. By state law it consists of the National Guard, Air National Guard and our 4 companies of state militia (2 Horse companies and 2 foot companies). Those 4 companies are largely ceremonial although 3 of the 4 are trained as MP's and the two horse companies do get deployed for some search and rescue missions. Interestingly enough although they are 100% state run, they were nationalized for WW1 as part of the AEF.

The most interesting part though is what we call the unregulated militia, which is basically all of us. Our governor has the power to draft to staff state military bases should he feel that manpower in not sufficient due to units being nationalized.

Let's get some force there to stop this invasion.  Obama won't let ICE do their job.  Further he has created this disaster.  Perry is a good Gov, and he will know what to do.  udos to the people of Texas who continue to defy Obama's Dictatorship by taking matters into their own hands when this corrupt government wont lift a hand to help.

Last post I saw was from a member of TNM and the Texas militia! It called for a "STAND DOWN" until members are notified by their directors! Seems this started out as a "panic" post by a couple of women that wanted to see something done about the illegal immigration across the border!

Do you have more info you can post about that, like a link to an article? Thanks

It was frem a Lorie Meachum! I think I stored it in a folder! Will try to find it & get back on here!

Great. I think some folks would be interested to share that.

I posted a reply to this (to your name)! Need the numbers, locations that were involved, contact me:!

This crisis on the border is created by Obumo/his Justice Dept/DHS/... what ever alphabet he controls.  This is no different that the crisis that Obumo created with Fast/Furious.   People are still dying from this illegal operation of Obumo.   Thousands will die/be victims of crimes by this illegal act, become diseased.... years and years to come.    Right after Obumo came to the WH,  he brought in his good buddy,   COmmunist Van Jones.    In a speech Jones bragged that they will bury this country.. top down.. bottom up.    The mountain of slime created  by Obumo/Dems is about to slide on all of America.. not just the Border States.   Better  have your vaccinations up to date.   Better look for a private school for you kid that will teach in English.  Why not just # Me$$chelle.   PRoblem solved.

Send in the Militia. Give them free ammo, all they can use.  If the federal gubment does not like it, let every able bodied person in AMERICA come to the defense of the Militia.

Breaking — West Virginia Lawmakers Invite Persecuted Pro-Second Amendment Counties In Virginia To Join Their State

West Virginia lawmakers introduced legislation to invite persecuted pro Second Amendment Counties to join their state.

The West Virginia Senate adopted a resolution to remind Virginia residents from Frederick County that they have a standing invite — from 1862 — to become part of West Virginia.

West Virginia freedom fighters broke away from Virginia Democrat slave owners during the Civil War.

This week West Virginia has once again invited persecuted Virginia pro 2-A counties to come join their state.

Sounds like a winning plan!

Resolution 8 reads as follows:

(By Delegates Howell, Summers, Shott, Householder, C. Martin, Hott, Graves, Cadle, Barnhart, J. Jeffries, Maynard, Phillips, Foster, Hamrick, Steele, D. Jeffries, Wilson, Waxman, Bartlett, Paynter, Linville, Sypolt, Bibby, Hill, Ellington, Higginbotham, J. Kelly, Mandt, Pack, Dean and P. Martin)

[Introduced January 14, 2020]

Providing for an election to be had, pending approval of the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Virginia, and a majority of qualified citizens voting upon the proposition prior to August 1, 2020, for the admission of certain counties and independent cities of the Commonwealth of Virginia to be admitted to the State of West Virginia as constituent counties, under the provisions of Article VI, Section 11 of the Constitution of West Virginia

Whereas, The Legislature of West Virginia finds that in 1863, due to longstanding perceived attitudes of neglect for the interests of the citizens of Western Virginia, and a studied failure to address the differences which had grown between the counties of Western Virginia and the government at Richmond, the Commonwealth of Virginia was irretrievably divided, and the new State of West Virginia was formed; and

Whereas, Such division occurred as the Trans-Allegheny portions of Virginia perceived that they suffered under an inequitable measure of taxation by which they bore a disproportionate share of the tax burden; and

Whereas, That this perception was further compounded by the effects of a scheme of representation by which Trans-Allegheny Virginia was not allowed to have its proper and equitable share of representation in the government at Richmond; and

Whereas, That this arrangement arguably resulted in the tax dollars of Trans-Allegheny Virginia being used to enrich the Tidewater through internal improvements which did not benefit the people of Western Virginia, while the people of the Trans-Allegheny had little to no say in how their tax dollars were allocated; and

Whereas, Though this course led to an irreconcilable division, and the subsequent formation of West Virginia, yet, the longstanding peaceful cooperation between this State and the Commonwealth of Virginia is a sign that such separation, undertaken even under the most challenging and onerous of circumstances, can, with the passage of time, yield lasting results which are beneficial to both sides; and

Whereas, In the intervening years, the same neglect for the interests of many of the remaining counties of the Commonwealth of Virginia has allegedly been evidenced by the government at Richmond; and

Whereas, Particularly, many citizens of the Southside, the Shenandoah Valley, Southwestern Virginia, and the Piedmont contend that an inequitable measure of taxation exists by which they bear a disproportionate share of the present tax burden of the Commonwealth; and

Whereas, The people of the Southside, the Shenandoah Valley, Southwestern Virginia, and the Piedmont also believe that, currently, a scheme of representation exists by which the citizens of Southside, the Shenandoah Valley, Southwestern Virginia, and the Piedmont do not have a proper share of representation in the government at Richmond; and, consequently

Whereas, The people of the Southside, the Shenandoah Valley, Southwestern Virginia, and the Piedmont believe that their tax dollars are used to enrich the Tidewater and Northern Virginia through internal improvements which do not benefit the people of these other parts of Virginia, while the people of these other parts of Virginia have little to no say in how their tax dollars are allocated; and

Whereas, In recent days, these tensions have been compounded by a perception of contempt on the part of the government at Richmond for the differences in certain fundamental political and societal principles which prevail between the varied counties and cities of that Commonwealth; and

Whereas, In the latest, and most evident, in this string of grievances, the government at Richmond now seeks to place intolerable restraints upon the rights guaranteed under the Second Amendment of the United States Constitution to the citizens of that Commonwealth; and

Whereas, The Legislative body of West Virginia believes that this latest action defies the wise counsel which has come down to us in the august words of our common Virginia Founders: as the government at Richmond now repudiates the counsel of that tribune of liberty, Patrick Henry-who stated to the Virginia Ratifying Convention in 1788 that “The great object is that every man be armed. Everyone who is able might have a gun”; and

Whereas, The government at Richmond now repudiates the counsel of a Signer of the Declaration and premier advocate of American independence, Richard Henry Lee-who stated in The Federal Farmer that “To preserve liberty, it is essential that the whole body of the people always possess arms”; and

Whereas, The government at Richmond now repudiates the counsel of that zealous guardian of our inherent rights, George Mason-who stated that “To disarm the people…[i]s the most effectual way to enslave them”; and

Whereas, The government at Richmond now repudiates the counsel of the declaimer of our independence and theoretician of our freedoms, Thomas Jefferson-who stated in his first draft of the Virginia Constitution, that “No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms”; and

Whereas, The Boards of Supervisors of many Virginia counties and the Councils of many Virginia cities have recognized this dangerous departure from the doctrine of the Founders on the part of the government at Richmond; and

Whereas, These Boards of Supervisors and Councils have passed resolutions refusing to countenance what they affirm are unwarranted and unconstitutional measures by that government to infringe the firearm rights of Virginians; and

Whereas, The actions of the government at Richmond undertaken since the recent general election have, regrettably, resulted in unproductive contention and escalating a lamentable state of civic tension; and

Whereas, That, as has been proven in numerous instances, such as have been observed internationally in more recent times with the peaceful dissolutions of Czechoslovakia and the Soviet Union, and the creation of South Sudan, or, earlier in Virginia’s own history, with the formation of Kentucky, the peaceful partition of neighboring peoples can occur, and, is often very beneficial to both sides in reducing tensions and improving the tenor of discourse over ongoing political and societal differences; and

Whereas, Article VI, Section 11 of The Constitution of the State of West Virginia explicitly permits additional territory to be admitted into, and become part of this state, with the consent of the Legislature and of a majority of the qualified voters of the state; and

Whereas, In a spirit of conciliation, the Legislature of West Virginia hereby extends an invitation to our fellow Virginians who wish to do so, to join us in our noble experiment of 156 years of separation from the government at Richmond; and, we extend an invitation to any constituent county or city of the Commonwealth of Virginia to be admitted to the body politic of the State of West Virginia, under the conditions set forth in our state Constitution, specifically, with the consent of a majority of the voters of such county or city voting upon such proposition; and we hereby covenant that their many grievances shall be addressed, and, we further covenant with them that their firearms rights shall be protected to the fullest extent possible under our Federal and State Constitutions; and

Whereas, Providing that the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Virginia shall give its assent to any county or independent city presently part of the Commonwealth of Virginia having the opportunity and ability to do so, therefore, be it

Resolved by the Legislature of West Virginia.
