I get to beat Hank again at this statement....figures!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ronald is a Chicken.....:)

Nothing draconian here... it is an agreement that outlines the ways US and UK workers can access US and UK social security benefits... allowing them to participate in the US and UK system of social security.

This is a good thing... for workers.  It is only reasonable that a formal and legally binding agreement secure the rights of both UK and US workers ... to participate in and recieve benefits from each others social security systems... when they pay into it and meet the requirements of this agreement.  Why not?

I am trying not to laugh at you Mr. Nelson, but...:)- I am LMAO over this blog and your statement.

Oh I see all is good we should just move on. Its ok for the queen to amend and sign off on YOUR SS program.

Did you read Oder 1997 all of it? http://www.legislation.gov.uk/uksi/1997/1778/made

 Yes

What... Where do come up with such minutia... the  Queen is not signing off on the Social Secuity Act... or any amendment to it.  What is happening here for the ignorant is that the US and England are formalizing the rules for its citizens to participate in the Social Security Programs of both nations... where they qualify and are working in that nation.

Such agreements between friendly governments facilitate the taxation and administration for incomes earned outside their respective jurisdictions by citizens living in the others country.. Such agreements stop much of the tax avoidance schemes used by those living outside of their nations jurisdiction, allowing them to collect or enforce their tax laws..

Misleading, sly in content, rejected.

How so Rosie... please explain how formalizing the process to qualify for and receive social security when one is a foriegn laborer in the US or UK is a bad thing. The agreement establishes tax rules and seeks to facilitate the orderly reporting of incomes and taxes for foreigners in the US or UK.

I realize that burst your bubble ... for one more international conspiracy to ... what... bankrupt the USA or social security administration... News... they are both already BK.

 Had my say.

He doesn't understand why the Federal Reserve has to print money and all bank loans are just digital entries. No cash No currency, just paper notes. No longer do we have certificates.

Can't teach the unteachable especially if they are a product of the Public, Government Union school systems.

SICK: New Jersey Awarded $3.8 Million In Financial Aid To Illegal Aliens

A local news report revealed that the state of New Jersey awarded $3.8 million in financial aid to illegal immigrants during the 2018-2019 school year.

According to a report from NJ.com, the state of New Jersey gave $3.8 million in financial aid to 749 illegal immigrant students in the last academic year. More than a quarter of the funding went to 328 illegal immigrants that attend Rutgers University.

New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy signed a law last year that allowed illegal immigrants to apply for financial aid. Prior to the signing, illegal immigrants were permitted to apply to pay in-state tuition at public universities but they were not eligible for financial aid.

Murphy, who supports the spending, hit back at Republican critics by arguing that giving financial aid to illegal immigrants is compatible with American values.

“I’d even invite any of those folks who have that attitude, beginning with our president, to come on into this room and allow me or any of us to say, ‘This is the United States of America,’” Murphy said at the time.

David J. Socolow, executive director of the state’s Higher Education Student Assistance Authority, defended the state’s decision to offer financial aid to illegal immigrants.

“This financial assistance offers these New Jersey students a life-changing opportunity,” Socolow said in a brief comment.“The successes of these first 513 students, who are now attending county colleges, state colleges and universities, and independent institutions around the state, will have a positive impact on countless additional lives.”

According to the report, there is currently no limit on the amount of illegal immigrant students that are permitted to receive financial aid from the state of New Jersey. State lawmakers forecast that they will spend approximately $5 million on financial aid for illegal immigrants each year.
