Illegal Immigrant Speaks Out At Press Conference About Being Illegal, Then Is Promptly Detained By ICE

Image result for ICE agentsAn illegal immigrant decided to speak publicly at a news conference about her immigration status Wednesday. She was later detained by Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers.

Daniela Vargas, 22, was detained in Jackson, Miss. shortly after speaking at the press conference, The Clarion-Ledger reports. Vargas, an Argentine national who arrived in the U.S. at age 7, was previously protected under President Obama’s Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program. Her DACA status, however, recently expired.

Vargas’ attorney Abby Peterson told The Clarion-Ledger that Vargas’ car was pulled over by ICE agents moments after the news conference, and they told her, “You know who we are, you know what we’re here for.”

The press conference was hosted by local churches, immigration attorneys and the Mississippi Immigrants Rights Alliance to speak about recently deported families.

She needs to be swiftly and directly deported... no appeals, no hearings.  She has been here illegally since age 7 ... that only makes her crime all the more visible and in need of urgent action.  I am sorry that she finds herself in this predicament... but she flagrantly chose too flaunt her illegal status.  The rule of law has been abused long enough... deport her.

I would also suggest she may have illegal family present... they too need to be deported and their plight publically displayed so others here illegally may have the opportunity too sell their assets and leave... before the forfeit their assets and are forced to leave.

I am amazed at the ignorance of the left... history has demonstrated that mass exoduses are very possible... that millions can be cleared out of a Nation quickly and peacefully when the nation has the will to act... lawfully.  The Jews in Czarist Russia were purged... Over 2 million Jews left Russia voluntarily from 1880-1920. The now Iconic classic 'Fiddler on the Roof' portrays this great event.

Millions of Jews left Egypt in the Exodus ... in a few days. Other examples, some very devastating, show how quickly individuals can be eliminated... 6 million Jews and another 6 million dissidents (12 million total) were murdered by the Nazi's in less than 5 yrs.

Eisenhower's Operation WETBACK  resulted in 1,078,168 apprehensions in the first year of Operation Wetback, with 170,000 being rounded up from May to July 1954...  with less than 1700 Border patrol agents.... there are 21,000 border patrol agents today.  Imagine how many illegal aliens they could remove if told to do so..

In addition, many illegal immigrants fled to Mexico fearing arrest; over half a million from Texas alone.[31] The total number of apprehensions would fall to just 242,608 in 1955, and would continuously decline by year until 1962, when there was a slight rise in apprehended workers.[32] Despite the decline in apprehensions, the total number of Border Patrol agents more than doubled to 1,692 by 1962, and an additional plane was also added to the force.[32]

Given the above Eisenhower experience the 21K agents today could easily remove the 11 million illegals.. as long as they were not entitled to lengthy unconstitutional hearings ... and the phony claims to due process used to stymie our legal deportation of these criminals.

Her very arrogance at speaking up in front of the cameras shows just how far our politicians have betrayed us. Who the sam hell is the "immigrants rights alliance" and why do they think they have special rights? The immigration attorneys should be deported.  Our tax money has been given to La Raza and other groups. La Raza  wants the southwestern states returned to mexico.  Boy, do I hope President Trump cleans out that swamp soon.

"Who the sam hell is the "immigrants rights alliance" and why do they think they have special "

Well, the LEGAL immigrants are entitled to SOME rights.  But the ILLEGALl ones have NO RIGHTS!   They abandon whatever rights they had before as they cross the border.  We have bleeding hearts here who want to bestow rights in them, but they don't have them.  You want RIGHTS in THIS COUNTRY?  Come LEGALLY.  How many rights do you think we have if we enter Mexico or ElSalvador illegally?  We'd have the right to a nice, dirty jail cell.  They are entitled to EXACTLY the same.

They've gotten by with being out in the open, and no worries about anybody coming after them for the past 8 years, because obama told BP and ICE to stand down.  Guess she decided to push the envelope.....and it didn't pass.  You can bet the immigrants rights alliance is something backed by the ACLU, obama, and soros

Apparently Mississippi Immigrants Rights Alliance started a few days after Trumps inauguration...

Why Civic Engagement Day is More Important than Ever

The late Jackson mayor Chowke Lumumba speaking at Civic Engagement day a few years ago. Lumumba introduced the anti-racial profiling ordinance that’s now being attacked by legislators.

January 25, 2017

MIRA and its allies are joined forces on January 25th, 2017, for the annual Civic Engagement Day at the Capitol to take a stand for immigrant, worker, refugee, and HUMAN rights. Your participation this year was more important than ever (see below for why) – we need your support in taking a stand at this critical moment in American history.

The Trump team has long made it clear that they aim to deport millions of immigrants, ripping families apart, and driving immigrants, refugees, and their families and friends into silence. But we are committed to stand up for a Mississippi and America that values all people.

Just five days after Trump’s inauguration, we stood up to say yes to community, to love for one another, to shared strength and human dignity. We linked arms and stood as a line of defense against Donald Trump’s reign of terror, but we can’t do it without your support. Please consider donating to MIRA – even $5 helps us defend immigrant and human rights.

Racism has made our state the worst in the nation with regards to worker’s rights. In Mississippi, some 80 workers die on the job each year, while injured workers can be fired for applying for relief to the state workers’ compensation commission. There is no state department of labor, no occupational health and safety office, and no state minimum wage. Mississippi state workers have gone 9 years without a pay raise, while agency bosses freely give pay increases to their cronies in management. Corporations refuse to honor the American right to organize unions, and hold them hostage to low wages, dictatorial bosses and poor working conditions. And all the while, immigrant and migrant workers are exploited mercilessly.

We stand firm in our opposition to the many anti-immigrant and refugee proposals introduced in to the 2017 Mississippi Legislative Session. Trump’s long history of racism and his rise to the White House has emboldened white supremacists in our legislature to rise with him in pushing their own agendas. Racism has been used as a tactic against Mississippi residents, to divide people of European descent and those of African heritage, to pit them against each other and prevent them from uniting on any issues. Now immigrants, migrants and Muslims are also targets of racist strategies.

Making our case at the Capitol with the Legislators is a proven tactic for defeating bad legislation and making progress for the people in our State. Please donate to support this struggle – on Civic Engagement Day we stood in solidarity together to fight back against racism and exploitation of all workers, regardless of employment in private or public service and regardless of immigration status.

Your contribution of $5, $10, or $25 helps make defend Immigrant rights in our state.. Donate now!

To donate by check please send to MIRA, P.O. Box 1104, Jackson, Mississippi 39215

Where was ICE when the demoCRAPS paraded illegal aliens through their convention, I thought that would be a perfect time to round them up also!

Ask the President and the Secretary of Homeland Defense where ICE was... it appears that they don't have the stomach too do what is necessary.

I am offended and disappointed by the ineptness of the Administration and or their collusion and Machiavellian political theater, regarding illegal immigration... Either enforce the law or stop acting like defenders of law and order.

Whenever the left flaunts illegal immigration... be there with paddy wagons and box cars... ready to arrest and deport.  Streamline deportation... so that one is arrested and in Mexico within 72 hours max.

As for the false narrative of 'due process' ... Let any appeals by these ALIEN criminals be made out of country ... file them with the local US Counsel or Embassy in the country of their origin.  Any due process do... can be handled in that manner.

Precisely.  But we had a president then who was aiding and abetting the criminals.

If you got it flaunt it, well didn't work out so well for this woman. This is not a FREE Country if your here Illegally.

 Lowest Female Unemployment
In 18 years!”

President Donald Trump needled the mostly anti-Trump Women’s March on Saturday, reminding them of the positive economic gains for women under his administration.

“Beautiful weather all over our great country, a perfect day for all Women to March,” he wrote on Twitter. “Get out there now to celebrate the historic milestones and unprecedented economic success and wealth creation that has taken place over the last 12 months. Lowest female unemployment in 18 years!”

Temperatures in the Washington, DC area rose to 59 degrees on Saturday afternoon after several days of cold weather. The Washington, DC march was smaller this year than the previous one in 2017, but organizers focused their efforts on attending a march in Las Vegas.

Thousands of women across the country rallied in major cities to oppose Trump and his policies, vowing to step up activism in the 2018 congressional midterms.
