I want to talk about effectivly taking over the Republican Party or laying the ground work for a third party, I think the first step is the following:

A call to Arms!

(Political Arms)

Step One

For me, the time has come for the patriots of America, to take the steps necessary, to secure our Freedoms and Liberties and get back to the Constitution and it's founding principles.

Whether it's to influence the Republican Party or to create a third party or to start with one and go to the other, the time has come to decide!

What we're up against:

When you look at the Democrat, communist, globalist, Islamic (take your pick) political Juggernaut, we see that they have a ground force, all across America, where they have their people in every state and every district. They know every important organization, every important individual and what they want and expect for their cooperation and support, in those districts!

All of this organization has been paid for with tax payer money through organizations:

Like ACORN, with grants and contributions, from the government.

With unions, using non-union dues, required by the government.

With contributions and big fat public and private building contracts, paid for by the government, for the unions.

Not to mention tax breaks and special deals, arranged for by the government, for the unions and special interests.

As well as big liberal businesses and tycoons, who get tax breaks from the government, who then get contracts, special deals and favours from the government, (George Sorros anyone?) anyone who pays for or contributes to the progressive agenda.

working against us and the Constitution!

First thing that must be done:

We are going to have to create a political structure, from scratch to counter this and we can't finance it by taking other peoples money through the tax schemes the way they have. In fact we need to close down this stupidity.

So much money has been sucked out of the economy, that there are not many wealthy people sitting on the sidelines, waiting to hand over their fortunes to some amateurs, so those amateurs can go and play political games.

Almost every person who has some disposable income has sided with either the Democrats or the Republicans. They are not going to walk away, from whatever advantage they think they are going to get, and join us, just because, we know they should.

I'm guessing, that most of the free money that is not involved with the Democrats or Republicans is already tied up with the Tea Party, Conservative, libertarian, Patriotic movement already.

Therefore it is absolutely imperative that we make every dollar, we can get control of, count and multi task.

The main weapon that we have at our disposal is this, the Tea Party and Internet. We have a great number of volunteers and contributors that make it work.

An assessment of what we have to work with:

The Tea Party format is a great format, like the old town meetings, except that it is nation wide and open 24/7, around the clock. Where everyone and anyone, gets to have their say and their ideas can be vetted and allowed to spread and grow, around the entire United States of America.

But, this is also a problem. Because, there is no action step. There is no consolidation of opinion and no action step that can be applied on the same scale as the discussions.

Most of this is by design. When the Tea Party started, we wanted it to be all inclusive and allow for maximum discussion. We wanted it pure and above reproach.

But, as soon as a decision is made to accomplish a particular goal, it automatically shuts down any other competing goals, ideas or solutions, because in order to succeed, we will all need to pull in the same direction, which by necessity, shuts down every other solution.

That's the formula that got us our Constitution. It wasn't perfect, but, it was the best they could do and it was the best the world had ever seen.

We didn't want the Tea Party to become a political party, per say, because that would limit the number of people involved and therefore the dialogue. The other thing we didn't want was the solicitation of funds for political campaigns because that would cause divisions and would be a distraction from the discussions and free flow of information.

Their goals verses ours:

The trouble is that our socialists “friends” have no such misgivings.

They will use everything they have to promote their agenda. They want to limit discussions to their ideas and agenda. They want every dime they can get so they can force that agenda down our throats.

Their ideas and agenda is that they are in charge and we will do as they we say, or else!

We have a different problem in that, it is that the individual that is sovereign and that the government has specific limited functions discharged to them by the people, but, only with the peoples consent.

So our common good for the American citizens is to protect their liberty and freedom by limiting the government, thereby, keeping every citizen in control of their own lives.

Since the only way one man may rule over another is by consent, each man must give his consent, by his vote. Thereby establishing a legitimate government,

To accomplish that towns, counties, districts and states were set up to organize people so that they would have equal representation for a legitimate government.

First suggestion to accomplish Step one:

We need a network that is set up to mirror our political structures. All politics are local. But, we are not set up to be affective in our voting precincts. We have to do that on our own. This is very time consuming and we are up against an enemy that has already taken that step.

Rather than spend the money and time to set up another network, I think that the Tea Party platform should have the option built within it.

In our profiles we have our state and town listed. Not necessarily for every one to see. I think we should also have our voting district listed as well.

Each of us has local, state and federal issues that must be watched and acted on. From our own home page we ought to be able to click on a group that consists of our own home town or voting district and have every one in that home town or district get a flag that says that there is someone alerting them to something that is going on in their area.

Then they have the option of ignoring or responding to the alert.

It would be a way to organize our selves along the political districts that can get people elected or defeated. It does little good to have a thousand people agree with you, when those thousand people are scattered across the country and what you need is one hundred people to show up in your district to vote.

The last email I read on the subject said that Barack Obama may have won the presidency with as little as 300,000 votes, nation wide. And folks, that number of votes could have been stolen.

It is possible, because the Chicago machine was watching specific districts, across the nation, that could swing the state and gain them the needed electoral votes.

We have no such organization to do that, but, we do have the potential.

The suggestion I am making, as a first step, is not an easy one. First we can't lose what we have as far as the broad base of individuals and ideas. Nor can we lose the integrity and diversity that the Tea Party is.

Never-the-less, we need a means to organize ourselves around the way the country is set up. That's what they do and we need to counter it. By having the option kept within our home page and restricted to only those who choose to respond, we will each have the ability to organize more effectively in our voting districts while keeping the rest of the web site the same.

Carl Rove is not an elected official. He dose not run for anything.

Right I got carried away I meant The minority Speaker of the Senate, Mitch

But still Carl Rove is a strategy planner for the RNC and works with the special interests behind the scenes.  It might be worth a shot to see what businesses support him and boycott them.  He might not be so quick to fight the Tea Party in the future.

Carl Rove is a strategist for the Republican Party. He's supposed to find and help republican candidates get elected. He collects money from donations and then he runs adds to help in the campaigns of the candidates.

We're now supposed to get all mussy, and relax, because he uses conservative in the name of his new group he has made for the 2014 election.

In reality, he is a snake in the grass.

He works for the special interests, that the pull the strings, behind the scenes, in the Republican Party. The special Interests are the real enemies of the country and they are the ones we are really fighting.

Carl Rove's job is to deliver candidates that will vote the way the special interests want. So, he has to find candidates that can look us in the face and lie with a smile.

Talk like they're going to make a difference.

Make up plausible excuses as to why they can't make a difference .

Or do the exact wrong thing and talk convincingly like they did the right thing and we just don't understand.

But, under no circumstances are they to do the right thing. The special interests can't make money and keep their power if they do that.

In 2010 Carl Rove was accused of sabotaging our Tea Party candidates. He did, but he denied it.

He did manage to knock out a couple of them, but, mostly he just made it harder on our guys.

More money had to be spent because we had to fight the Democrats and Carl Rove.

He spent 400 million dollars and most of his guys, that were fighting us, lost. More seats were changed that election than any other election, in recent history anyway.

We gave the Republicans the house and almost gave them the Senate and he has hated us for it ever since.

I'll bet his big endorsers are fuming at him because we have been dragging them, kicking and screaming, every step of the way, to do the right thing.

So now the gloves are off. He's hiding behind the conservative label as an excuse. So he can say, I'm just trying to do what you want, but, I need candidates that can win. Let me handle this.

While attacking Tea Party candidates, because they're just not good enough.

Yeah Rove, good luck with that. You tried that before when you were sneaking around and look what it got you.

I just hope that the Tea Party has gotten a little smarter this time.

Rush Limbaugh describes it as:

When a liberal candidate shows himself to be an idiot the liberals surround the wagons to protect him,

when a republican is accused, by the Democrats, of being an idiot, we surround him with a firing squad and shoot him.

What has changed? How and why did the vast majority of Americans vote for and elect former President Ronald Reagan? and in this past election become so blind by voting the way they did or simply not voting .Is it a different generation now? Why were they fired up excited about America and all she stands for? and now  so willing to compromise. What has changed why can't we get a true tea party candidate that the people could truly get behind.

Ann, I have been asking the same question. The answer I came up with is... Popularity, trend at the time, looks, mannerisms, charisma and the like. The voters are made up of the young, the working, non-working, the barely working, the don't care's, the really do care's, the educated, the lower educated, the what's in it for me's and the what's it going to cost me's etc.

We have now the patriots usually older and seeing the country going to the dogs and want to do something about it. But the big question in their minds... how do we wake up people to vote responsibly, how do we educate them, how do we wake them up to what is going on and 'it's almost too late' crowd!

Barry, one has to go against the group think that the GOP is our salvation.  Those who fail to realize the GOP and DemonRats are nothing more than two wings of the same buzzard who want to take our liberty.  With the 2 major parties taken over by tyrants, a third party vote is our only solution.

Founders Party Platform

We, the people of the Founders Party believe and assert that when in the course of human events, it becomes necessary for people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them to another and to assume among the powers of the earth, the separate and equal station to which the Laws of Nature and of Nature’s God entitle them, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the principles which impel them to claim and assert their sovereignty.

We hold these truths to be self-evident that all people are created equal, and that we are endowed by our Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life,(in all stages) Liberty and  the pursuit of Happiness, unmolested by intrusive government.  And that people in government have no rights or authority to dictate outside the consent of the governed, nor to make laws or regulations that do not apply equally to all, including themselves.

Our purpose is NOT to replace, commandeer or annex the Tea Party, its people, donations, ideals, or autonomy but to provide its members and patriots with a political party that reflects our principles, morals, economics and way of life.  In short, this is the party for people who are of a like mind to America’s Founders and feel they are otherwise unrepresented in the political arena.

We of the Founders Party proclaim and declare that we generally embrace the principles and ideals of our nation’s Founders and believe specifically;

  • American patriots must unite under a single political party that is truly conservative if we are to avoid losing the nation to statists.
  • Because our Rights are endowed by God, no man, government or entity can take, minimize, alloy, or infringe upon them.
  • It is our duty to reclaim the sovereignty, dignity, and liberty of our states and people.
  • Our Constitution and Bill of Rights mean EXACTLY what they say as they are written.
  • Laws must contain sunset clauses and never continue forever.
  • It is unfair, immoral and un-American to financially support able-bodied people.
  • Any laws, regulations, or amendments that offend our Constitution are necessarily unconstitutional.
  • Conservatism and patriotism are principles for which we will never, ever apologize or compromise, ever.
  • Almost everything government does today is unconstitutional, illegal and/or destructive to our lives, liberty and pursuit of happiness.
  • The states were specifically declared as states so there would be no ambiguity that they are indeed sovereign states and not small fiefdoms to be dominated by a national leviathan.
  • The united States of America were conceived to be a bottom-up political structure whereby the most potent political entity is the individual himself who grants minimal power to local authority, which allows less power to the county and/or state which grants even less power to an assembly/conference at the federal level which has the least power of all.
  • The proper solution to unconstitutional federal fiat is nullification by the sovereign states.
  • All federal laws, regulations, rules, programs, taxes, dictates, and usurpations enacted since 1871 must be evaluated and/or nullified by the sovereign states.
  • The UN with its tyranny has no place in America and America has no place in the UN cabal of despots.
  • Without secure borders and control of immigration sovereignty is impossible or meaningless.
  • Politicians who pass laws that do not apply to themselves are tyrants masquerading as God.
  • Anyone found to violate their oath to protect and defend the Constitution must face trial for treason and suffer the customary penalty quickly if convicted.
  • Suppression of religious expression on public property is religious tyranny.
  • Every citizen’s supreme right is to live unmolested by government as long as he harms no others.
  • The only acceptable role of any government is to protect the property, liberty and persons of individuals.
  • There is an urgent need for separations between business and state as well as economy and state and education and state.
  • Government has no right to confiscate and spend our money as the politicians see fit.
  • The Tea Party Movement is the most vital movement to happen on this continent since the American Revolution.
  • It makes no sense to pretend that the liberal mainstream media will ever tell the truth about us or our principles.  It proudly serves America’s enemies.
  • We are a classless nation and society.  Splitting us into racial groups and classes only serves to divide and dominate us.  All races are equal today, despite their pasts.
  • Only evil people succeed by dividing us and/or turning Americans against one another.  E Pluribus Unum
  • There are no overwhelming problems that have not been caused or perpetuated by government.

No one will completely agree with all the points of this platform and that is not the goal.  The goal is to delineate principles that can be embraced by what must be a majority of patriotic Americans.  It has become obvious and intolerable that there is no successful political party today that embraces our values so it is high time to abandon them all.  They have only to serve themselves and our demise.  Efforts to drive them to serve us rather than us serving them have been fruitless.  It is time for change.  It is time to act.  It is time to realize that we owe our progeny the birthright that was passed to us that we have lost.  Because if not us, who; if not now, when?  This is our oath our dream, our duty.  We will regain the liberty of our forefathers or must be willing to perish in the attempt.  Because without liberty, what is life worth?

A;ll excellent points Ralph!

@ Ralph Baker,

I, and I am sure most members of this website, agree with you...

The question before us then becomes how best to right this wrong: start a 3rd party or simply overwhelm the Republican Party structure from within?

I don't have the answer to that question except to observe I just came back (Saturday) from the "small-counties"  Republican Party caucus meeting for my state. Out of our group for our area, we were ask to select 24 people, who would represent our area in the district caucuses next month. We were able to fill just three of those seats, because that's how many was present from our area...just me and two other guys.

This is sort of a bounce. A comment about your reply to Ralph Baker.

I just received a call from a GOP worker asking for $$$... touting all that was wrong with the SOTU.

Here is the strange part.

I almost said , verbatim, you words about how to right the wrong.....

Start a 3rd Party or disinfect and save the GOP.

My personal view is that the GOP is not completely waste. There are some good guys

(DeMint either got blocked out or tired of losing) worth keeping.

It may be wishful thinking, but I wish for a productive joining of the best of both.

Of course we need to ID the Good Guys and the sluggos too.

One of the things I want to do, is understand the structure of the Republican party.

I have their rule book and platform loaded onto my computer.  I haven't looked at the platform, yet, I'll get to that later.  The rule book is enough for now.

I want to look at it from the top down and bottom up.

At the level your at now, do they have any handouts regarding rules or explanations as to how everything works.

How do you know what your supposed to do and do you know how it all fits together in the bigger structure of the party.

I'd be interested in hearing about your progress as they build to the election, if you'd like to keep me posted I’d appreciate it.

To win a battle one must know the enemy.

To effect the Republican Party we have to know it.

If one wishes to build a third party it would be helpful to examine an existing party and identify what is done right and what is done wrong.  Then keep the good, throw out the bad and move on.

In ether case we need to examine the inner workings of the Republican Party.

I have read the many posts that favor starting a 3rd party.

They might be right, but.

A 3rd party would have to start fighting 2 wars, Rats & RINOs.

I think a "wise"? step before that is to realize if you have mice in the mansion, you don't burn down the mansion.

The GOP is not entirely worthless.

Instinctively it feels that a union of the Best of GOP and the Best of Tea Party is the way to go.

The union preserves the strength of GOP and only faces a single war.

This means routing out the RINOs and the Tea Party sluggos .....yes, I believe there are some.........

John McCain

and an all-star list

THAT is a start!

It is a start, people are starting to put the lists together.  Check out the discussion:

Romney Handed Shock
Defeat By Own State’s GOP

Mitt Romney is back in state politics, this time in Utah instead of Massachusetts. However, conservatives in The Beehive State aren’t exactly warming up to the 2012 Republican standard-bearer quite the way many people expected they would.

After finishing second in votes at the state GOP convention, Romney will now face a primary in his run for the Senate seat being vacated by Orrin Hatch, Fox News reported.

At the convention in West Valley City on Saturday, Romney polled just behind state lawmaker Mike Kennedy.

Kennedy captured 50.18 percent of the delegate vote compared to Romney’s 49.12 percent.

That means the two will face off in a primary on June 26 to determine who will represent the GOP this fall.

Romney, the first Mormon to head a major party ticket, is considered an extremely popular figure in Utah and was widely expected to have an easy path to the upper chamber.

In a hypothetical matchup with Democrat Jenny Wilson, at least one poll showed Romney up by 46 percent. That’s, uh, slightly more than the margin of error.

However, among party loyalists, Romney isn’t exactly viewed with unalloyed fondness.

The 2012 presidential nominee was always known for being decidedly moderate, particularly on issues of immigration and global trade. There was also the fact that he ran a campaign so bumbling that it almost made Michael Dukakis look good.

And then there was Romney’s war of words with Donald Trump during the 2016 campaign, which likely led many to perceive he secretly wished Hillary Clinton would take the Oval Office.

Trump would later consider Romney as a secretary of state pick, although how serious the president-elect was about appointing him is something we’ll likely never know.

While your average Utah Republican is unlikely to let these slights affect their vote, hardcore party activists probably don’t want another RINO who isn’t exactly known for his rapport with the president in the upper chamber of Congress, no matter how famous he may be.

For his part, Romney tried to put a good spin on the humiliation.

“I’m delighted with the outcome. Did very, very well,” he told KSTU. “On to a good, important primary ahead. This is terrific for the people of Utah.”

Dude, you just lost to a guy nobody has ever heard of. However, Kennedy was happy with the results, and unlike Romney, he had good reason to be.

“I’m a candidate with a compelling life story and a unique set of life circumstances I’d like to use to serve the people of Utah,” Kennedy said.

I have no idea what that story or those circumstances are, but I think the key point here is that he’s not Mitt Romney. If he wants to win, that’s pretty much what he should be focusing on. I can see the billboards now. “Mike Kennedy: Not Mitt Romney.” “Mike Kennedy: He didn’t borrow Ward Cleaver’s haircut.” “Mike Kennedy: Because Utah deserves a senator whose favorite food isn’t buttered noodles.”

Utah’s electorate tends to be less conservative than convention-goers, so it’s unlikely that Romney won’t be the GOP nominee for Senate. However, that’s not a 100 percent certainty — and it wouldn’t be the first time he’s lost to a Kennedy.

What do you think?
